2nd - Louvre - Bourse hotels & places to stay

The Rayz is perfectly situated, within spitting distance from the Opera - a central metro hub - in a quiet side street. Also within a 7-minute walking distance to the Vendôme square, as well as the Tuileries gardens and the Louvre. Our accommodation was a 2-bedroom spacious apartment which housed our family of 5. The sofa in the living room opened into a queen-sized bed. The apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen and comes with complimentary bottled-water and coffee for the coffee machine. It has 2 toilets, which was very convenient. All in all a really good setup which all of us enjoyed. The staff at the reception are was great.. They’re pleasant and helpful. There is no air conditioning, but we didn’t need any at the time of our stay,but they do have ventilators ready in the cupboards just in case. They don’t have a dining room to offer breakfast, but they do offer a basic breakfast for €5 per person brought to the room. A place I would certainly choose to come back to!!

An unexpected issue came up and I needed the room a day early. They were wonderful, relieving me of a lot of stress. The staff was professional, bright and charming, especially Nisrine. Nisrine had the most angelic smile and positive attitude. Nothing was ever a worry or too much trouble for her. All of the staff were friendly while maintaining a professional demeanor. The assistants were constantly making the hotel sparkle. It is beautiful, classy and impeccable in every way. It is not a cookie cutter corporate hotel, but it is fresh and youthful and elegant all at once. The rooms are relatively large, the bathroom huge, the shower ideal (plenty of pressure and heat.) They thought of everything, including welcome note and goodies, cold refreshments or coffee in the room, and an impressive array of desserts and snacks. The location could not be better because you will have access to all forms of transportation, and it's an easy walk to Opera, Louvre and beyond. I loved it!

The hotel was so cozy. Many attractions were within a walkable distance. But it depends on individuals. (I like walking a lot). Except for opera, not everything is extrmely close. You need to walk for abour 10 minues minimum to get to a depattment store, louvre museum, and others. Nevertheless. I loved the hotel so much. Things were very clean and the facilities were working very well! I’m willing to stay here again with my family.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds situated in a great location surrounded by outdoor cafes and shops. Easy walking distance to the Louvre and many other attractions. Front desk manager was very helpful in booking a river cruise for us that was one of our highlights during our stay. She recommended a premium lunch reservation so that we could sit in the front of the boat and enjoy the views along with a nice meal and live musicians.

Hotel is good with very helpful frontdesk. Location is great. Concierge service prior to check in - they helped me booked a number of nice restaurants for lunch and dinner. However, there were 2 major disappointments. 1. There is some on-going renovation in the Hotel. Noises from 10 to 6. Mentioned this on check out and was given a candle. Good gesture but didn't help really. 2. We asked for a taxi to the airport when we left. I was thinking that they would just get a taxi for us from the streets - there were many. Instead, they called one which took 15 minutes to arrive and charges an extra fee. Seven Euros or something. The extra fee is not a big deal but seriously we should not need to wait 15 minutes when there were a lot of taxis on the street.

the hotel was very close to the opera station, therefore, it was easy to get on the metro and go anywhere. it's a very easy walk to the louvre as well. we were very impressed with our triple room since it was my husband & i along with my little brother. we basically had our own rooms! the room is spacious & the beds were just like home. after traveling to spain & italy (where they have very firm beds) we were ecstatic to have comfortable beds. there's a mini bar if you're tired & need something to drink but it's 3 to 4 euros per bottle. we walked to the monoprix down the street (towards the louvre) and picked up snacks & beverages for our stay...a lot cheaper. the only thing that i would fix about this hotel is the shower needs a curtain! we managed but there was plenty of water on the floor. also, there is only 1 elevator for the hotel, which sometimes you have to wait a while. overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel & would definitely stay here again.

I booked the studio Couture, which is an absolutely beautiful room and made my time in Paris happier. My checkin experience with Alexsia was not a pleasant experience though, unfortunately. Alexsia would not give me the room I booked despite having all the details of my booking available for her to view. She did not accept the Agoda booking, as the booking came in as from Booking.com, (even though they note that on the confirmation). However with a lot of help from Agoda and little help from Alexsia, I did check into my beautiful room and had a lovely stay in Paris

The hotel was what you would expect from Mercure. Clean, modern, well appointed and friendly staff who are happy to communicated in English if needed. It is close to cafes and bars of the Boulevard Haussmann. It is a brisk 20 minute walk to the Louvre, the Seine and other central attractions. The Eiffel Tower and most of the other main attractions are a fair distance but can be walked if you’re into that sort of thing. However there is a Met station about 100mtrs from Accomodation which can take you anywhere you want. The room was quiet. The shower was good and there are a number of convenience stores all within a few hundred metres. Very enjoyable stay.

The Hotel Gramont Opera is conveniently located to a number of great attractions. The Louvre is in walking distance, as well as some great shops and restaurants. Unfortuantely, I was only there for one night. While the rooms are a little cramped, they're comfortable and nicely presented. The reception and staff are extremely lovely and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again :)

Friendly English-speaking staff, spacious room with very comfortable bed. Location was primo. 10 mins walk from Louvre but recommend downloading Uber app, and using an electric bike or scooter to get around the city and the pick-up locations are all around the hotel. Very convenient. Our room came with a bathtub but no shower curtain so water was sprayed into the bathroom area- unavoidable. Also the elevator is small, can hold just one person with luggage or 2 adults no baggage. The rooms come with air conditioning but also can open French windows to let in fresh air. Overall, a totally enjoyable experience. We will return again.

Very good location, provide the L'occitane shampoo (no conditioner), shower gel, soap and lotion, other amenities such as razor, toothbrush. The elevator is really small, only 2-3 persons can use at a time. Some restaurant down the street so if you dont open the window, you will be fine w/o the noise. A lot of food/restaurant around the area. 10-15 means walk to Opera, both department stores; 5 mins to Metro station, 10-15 mins down to Louvre. I would like to stay again in the future.

This was my third time staying at Hotel Volney Opera. I love the location. Rooms tend to be on the small size, which is normal for the area. The staff have always been very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. During my most recent stay, even though we arrived well before check-in time, the receptionist coordinated with the housekeeper to minimize our wait time and allow us to get settled in earlier than we thought we would be able to. It was a nice and much appreciated gesture.

The location is great, walking distance to Galleries Lafayette and Louvre and just 1-minute walking to metro station. The room is comfortable with reasonable price. My room is on 6 floor with a balcony and no street noise. Breakfast selection was good and staff are helpful and friendly. The room is clean and tidy, i highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I will come back to Paris in near future.

Great location in the heart of Paris - everything you need within 100 mtrs. Metro, bus, shops, restaurants Hotel rooms are all facing to the lobby which makes it a bit special and certainly a home like feeling. Hospitality and cleanness were good. Rooms are not large, but OK for our 5-days stay. Very comfy beds ! Breakfast was (a bit too) simple and could be better, depending on who did the shopping, we guess.. We had trouble with the shower.. it was too cold.. ! But - we will certainly be back at CasaO and enjoyed out stay very much !!

The location is handy to the metro. It is within walking distance to the Siene river (15 minutes), and main attractions such as the Eiffel Tower (approx 1 hour), the Louvre museum (30 minutes), hop on hop off buses, supermarkets and shopping. The street itself has a few sex shops and prostitutes lingering around later at night, but we never felt unsafe and didn't see any trouble. There is no lift, so carrying luggage up the stairs can be a bit of a workout. The room was spacious and comfortable enough. It had a double bed, basin, bidet, and a few small cupboards. It's not modern, but it does the trick. The bathroom is shared, there is one per floor, and there are 4 rooms per floor. The facilities are OK, the only problem I found was that you are not allowed to flush toilet paper down the toilet, you must throw it in a rubbish bin beside it.. I felt that to be a bit unhygienic,but the signs explain the plumbing is too small to flush it Yum, cheap food found at 74 Rue Saint Denis!

location is excellent! 10mins from Louvre Museum, 6mins away from the shopping mall and the main train station. however, the room I stayed is opposite to a primary school, so it can be very noisy during the week at 7-ish in the morning. and like many buildings in Europe, there's no lift, and the staircase are spiral, so be prepared to carry your luggage all the way up to your room. No reception or signage at the hotel, you just have to trust yourself and insert the provided code for getting in, pretty easy though. One more thing is somehow I could't open the window, so it was a bit warm indoor but I travelled in winter so this is alright. the open kitchen in the room has all the basic utensils, so it's good if you want to buy food in supermarket and have a quite night instead of eating out all the time. bed is a sofa bed, a bit soft but not too bad. bathroom is pretty clean, just that they only have a shower gel/shampoo for your usage.

Their driver dropped half of our family off at the wrong stop so we had to take turns lugging the bags to the office while caring for our infant. After paying the storage fee to have our baggage stored across the street (3€/bag), we finally settled in at the 4pm checkin time. The location was fine and the beds were not uncomfortable, with nice water pressure. However, the next morning we woke to find a large puddle under our luggage. Many of our clothes were soaked due to a leaking water heater. Rough start as we only had one towel/ person for our entire stay and these soaked clothes needed to be used for our trip. We went down to the office to let them know and they sent someone to work on it. However, the warping of the wall and floor would suggest this has been going on for quite some time. That night we were kept up by banging on the door of the neighbors, also owned by this company, until 2am. The walls and door are very thin. The carousing went on until 12:30 am the next night.
