Fabulous... worth your money”
I stayed in a private room in this hostel thinking it to be a hotel as I booked it through this site. However, though it did not have any room service that we are used to, it was Value for money. The Location was excellent with the subway station closeby with lots of bars, fast food corners and restaurants around. When it comes to Cleanliness, I give full marks and yes not to forget the excellent staff who were always ready for help. Would love to come again...

Good location. But you must leave the room at 11am that's annoying ”
I find it very inconvenient if you must leave the room from 11h to 15h every day. That means you can not sleep until noon and it might be annoying for people who sleep late. The bed wasn't very clean, I got some allergy on my skin. The floor is very clean though. Breakfast with juice and coffee is good.

We needed a cheap hostel and this one fit the bill. It was clean, and the staff were very nice. However, even in just pleasantly warm weather the rooms (we were ground floor) were stiflingly hot, and opening the large windows made our room completely accessible to all other guests in the hostel (because we only got one room key, we used the windows to simply step over the low sills ourselves—it was a little creepy that anyone else could have done it as well). In spite of the rules for noise restriction, there were lots of loud exchanges after midnight.

Pros: 1)located close to river and Lyon station. 2)Friendly staff and willing to help Cons: 1)lots of cleanliness and hygiene issues. Staff were kind enough to change my room but that room was also dirty. Reason: hand-wash basin/sink present inside the room. Damp towels banana peels etc. and lot more. I was simply told that hostel management can't control what other occupants do. Other hostels have measures in place to ensure hygiene in the room 2) no elevator. very narrow staircase. My room was on 4th storey. 3) storage space for heavy luggage/bigger bags in basement. The basement stairs are uneven and basement tunnel is narrow. I almost tripped over twice and sustained abrasions on my elbows. 4) breakfast was pathetic. One bun, a small piece of butter and jam, a 250ml juice and black coffee with a sachet of creamer. All these are put in a tray for you and you can have these only once. I have stayed in lots of hostel with similar pricing and much better bed and breakfast options.

The rooms are really small and don't have any commodities inside!! Not even something to hang the cloths!! The common bathrooms are really horrible!! They're totally not suitable for more people in the same moment!! We were there for 3 nights and couldn't sleeps comfortably because the people there make noise all the time!! It's worse then a student house!!

—which means don’t expect much in the way of assistance or customer service. This is a place for partying kids to hang out and be loud until 4am, or for cheap skates like me to lay our heads for a few nights and spend money on more important things... Fair enough, that didn’t bother me, but the staff just seemed so uninterested in being helpful, because it’s simply not a priority.

The most horrible hotel in my life”
The hotel has schedules for everything. Firstly, you must be outside between 11 am and 3 pm. I have travelled in many countries and I met such a service for the first time. It is absolutely inacceptable, especially in Paris! It is your holidays and you MUST wake up and go out before 11 am. After that you have no acccess to your belongings. You have no possibility to walk at night or go party. In every hotel all over the world it is up to you whether you want your room to be cleaned up and you can enter it at anytime and use your things. Secondly, you can use a shower untill 11 pm. Moreover, the hotel provides NO TOWELS. Even the cheapest hostel in my life gave the towels. Thirdly, you can use a microwave only untill 11 pm. And finally, there are NO duvet covers. Furthermore, you must leave the key at the reception everytime you go outside. Then, you are required to show a receipt to get the key. I will BY NO MEANS RECOMMEND this hotel.

They're under construction, so you don't allow to stay in the hostel too long during day time and all the facilities are roughly done. So the soundproof is not going to be so well obviously. In my experience, I can always hear people shouting and running all the time. For the wifi, you have to reconnect it every hour, and sometimes you don't even get it again. Oh, you're not allowed to take a shower after 11 so it's not so convenient for people to stay outside all day long. Anyway, I wished I could book other accommodation than this one no matter how much more expensive gonna be.

they have a rule that everyone needs to leave between 11 to 15, even we stay in a private room with no one else here. Think about it If you’re planning a late night out, I wouldn’t book if I have knew they have such rule.

Very cheap. Didnt have basics like soap in the bathroom. Wifi only on for few hours. Rooms are very small but okay for the price. Staff isnt the most friendly.

Room smelled badly. It was very noisy as the walls were very thin. It’s such an inconvenient hostel since you have to leave everyday from 11-15hr so they can clean the rooms (rooms weren’t really clean) you have to give the keys everytime you go out & you have to bring the paper given by the front desk so they can validate which room you’re staying at and you have to show it to the front desk before claiming your key. There were only 2 toilets & 3 showers for everyone in the floor. You cant shower past 23Hr. The bunk beds were uncomfortable so we had to put it on the floor in order to get a good night’s sleep. No towels, you have to pay 2€ at the front desk but the location was good. Overall, i dont recommend this hostel even if you are a budget traveler. It’s much better to stay at other hostels.

Horror Hostel”
This is a horror hostel I left the horror house after 30 minutes and am now looking for a reasonable hotel! The door and the key were broken. The power connection was only one behind the television for charging from the cell phone. Then you had to leave the room from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. because they wanted to clean the room. The breakfast is a joke a small piece of butter a bit of jam a piece of bread a juice or coffee bute you won't get full.
