Nice - relaxing ”
Summery of a 3 day stay for Valentine’s Day week. There are 3 buildings - we stayed in #3 near the beach. There is a $40.00 resort fee per day, house keeping only come every 3 days so they never came to fresher up while we were there and we did not know until the last day. Keurig didnt work correctly (and we requested a new one and that one only made 1/4 cup). There are no local or close stores so if you want snacks bring them. The water had a yellow tinge - not sure if it was the “treatment” they use. We would grab water bottles from the fitness center. We ate daily at the beach/pool and food was great. We had breakfast at the Naked Crab and it was terrible - spoke to the manager and he laugh in our face and said it was because the kitchen was closing even though we were there 1/2 hour before it closed. I had pancakes and they were hard like being in a warmer and not freshly made. My husband had crab hash and it was ihop hashbrowns with 3 pieces of lump crab on top and eggs were burnt. Save your money and eat at the pool. Front desk girls are not very friendly the men were very pleasant. Download and use the Circuit App - it’s a free ride share (electric golf cart) to go up and down the beach boulevard and LasOlas Blvd. where all the restaurants are. We used Uber from the cruise port and to the Airport. Over all the stay was nice - room was updated and the bed was comfortable. Coffee shop in main lobby was nice and they had plenty of seating through the lobby. We are not drinkers so I can not comment on the bars.

Aj at the front desk was super helpful and even helped us in getting rooms next to each other after accidentally booking separate buildings. Pros: - location, everything was in walking distance and the things that weren’t were a short shuttle away. B- Ocean is literally right on the beach. - includes towels and beach chairs - clean - restaurants and amenities on site - 2 beautiful pools CONS: - resort fee of $40 ish a day only includes 2 waters and two k cups per room, 2 towels, and two beach chairs at the beach and of course amenity usage however for the price I would’ve just expected that to be included rather than a separate charge. - parking is $47 per day BEFORE tip if you. Valet is great and all and fortunately they had the strip, but if our 13 month old was older or if we were traveling without a child we would have needed a car to get to nightlife and any other entertainment. - restaurant pricing at the hotel is outrageous $17 for a mixed drink, $21 for 5 chicken wings. 18% gratuity included in all purchases. The strip is overall pretty expensive, but the pricing at the hotel restaurants take the cake. Location - although unrelated to the hotel, the area was NOT well lit at night and since we primarily walked the strip since we decided not to rent a car, I didn’t feel safe being out after dark with my child - there were many cheap or free methods of transportation such as circuit and an abundance of golf carts to take you to las olas Blvd - would be nice to have some sort of grocery or convenience store in the area instead of having to buy everything at a 200% increase at a boutique. Overall: Would love to stay again. Definitely a 5 star resort. Don’t go if without expecting to spend a pretty penny.
Very Uneven Experience”
We stayed one night in preparation for a Disney Cruise. We were happy to get our room prior to check in and were initial impressed with the staff. Upon entering the room we smelled what we thought was cleaning solution. We didn't think much of it and did some exploring and got a late lunch. In general, the beach looked nice and the views were good but the facility feel like it needs a refresh. This is one of the hotels recommended by Disney Cruise Lines. As expected, that meant a lot of families, which we didn't mind at all. It does look like the facility gets heavy use though. The pool area in the north tower was nice, but there were no towels to be had. Upon returning to our room in the evening it became clear that the smell was in fact sewer gas from a loose toilet. Because it was time to get the kid to bed I decided to mention the issue at the front desk the next morning. The staff at the front desk did not seemed overly concerned that we had slept in sewer gas all night. I had to catch a bus to the cruise and so I didn't feel like pushing the issue. We then attempted to have breakfast/brunch at the Naked Crab. A sign said to wait to be seated but there was no host at the stand. After about 15 minutes I entered the restaurant to track someone down. The scene inside the eating area was chaotic. I was told (rudely) to return to the host stand. After an additional five minutes I got more aggressive and we were eventually seated. The buffet was standard continental breakfast fare that was passible, but not exceptional. We were charged $35 a person plus beverages. The service was extremely poor. I had to chase down the waitress multiple times. We were near the door to the eating area. Multiple customers were turned away or gave up while we ate. The hostess never returned to the stand.

Pleasant Surprise”
All the staff were courteous, respectful and ready to help. The hotel was clean even though the lobby remained busy all of the day. That could be do to us coming during bad weather. Speaking of the guest service attendee gave us our Chair and towel card for the beach even though there is going to be a storm for the remainder of the week. Noone was going in that water with them crashing so hard and fast. Youd be fish food of you did. There should be a rainy day accomodation like 30% off the café or one of the other places they had to eat. After giving us the beach pass and towel card I looked at him and asked you know there is a tropical storm? "I would still go out there" He replied. Our room was nice was a short walk. And our ice machine did not work so we had to go to another level to get some. Aside from all of this. I would still come back just hopefully not on the same floor because boy we had a horrible view of palm trees doing a wild wind ritual. And the elevator took a while I chose to use the stairs a few times.

My wife and I with 2 young kids, 5 and under stayed for 1 night after we got off one of the cruises. Our room didn't have a view of the Ocean BUT it was right next to the pool which was great for the kids. Facilities were all very nice and well kept. Valet took care of our bags until our room was ready, short walk to the beach and overall a good location; about 15 min. from the airport. Mermaid show was really neat and different but is pretty expensive to experience in my opinion. Overall great place and would stay there again!
