The staff were from overseas and spoke in English, which was a bit confusing at first, but they were very charming! However, they walked into the room with shoes on, and out of habit as a Japanese person, I took mine off at the entrance, but I wasn’t sure where the no-shoe zone started. The room was properly cleaned, but I was bothered by what looked like paint stains in the sink. Since there was a bar downstairs, some people might be concerned about the noise. However, the master was a kind person, and the customers greeted us with smiles, creating a very warm atmosphere. The alley was narrow, so it felt a bit scary at night, but I was relieved to see some light. I am very grateful to be able to stay in Chinatown at this price. Thank you very much.
It was a late check-in after the live event, but the staff warmly welcomed us. Since it was my first time at this accommodation, I had some concerns, but the room was compact and tidy, and both the bedroom and the shower and toilet were clean and perfect. It's convenient for a stroll through the Chinatown at night, and I also enjoyed chatting with the staff at the bar on the first floor! It made me want to go backpacking abroad again. However, the bar was quite lively until late, so it might not be suitable for those who prefer a quiet night. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Quite good place for a cheap price. But it's on the 2nd floor of the bar (though google maps show 2 different locations), so it may confuse a little bit. The the location is nice, it's close to the restaurants, park, transport. The bed wasn't convenient in 100% (an odd wooden railing), it's just only 1 little issue.
I had a fantastic stay at Baboo House! The beds were comfy, the dorm was tidy and for the price it was an incredibly good deal. Right in amongst China town, its an ideal spot for exploring. I spent most of the night downstairs at the bar with the owner who was super friendly!! The place has a lot of character and I would definitely would recommend!

This was my first time using it this year. I had checked reviews in advance and was not bothered by the voices from the izakaya on the first floor. It's really lucky to be able to stay right in the heart of Chinatown at this price. The toilet and shower were relatively new and comfortable to use. Issues: There was only one seat, so multiple people couldn't sit down and work. It would be appreciated if more seating could be provided at the unused counter. If possible, it would be nice to have a fan in place of a circulator. The receptionist was very kind and explained everything in detail. I felt very positive about it. Thank you very much.
