“Above average”
I have been staying here for 6 days and 5 nights. Before my arrival, I had read reviews saying that the sheets were not changed. When I arrived, I asked if they were clean, and the staff member told me that new sheets had been bought that day. Indeed, they were clean and new, and the pillows were new as well. However, during my stay, I noticed many guests coming and staying only one night, and unfortunately, I can confirm that the sheets are not washed. They remain the same, with only a lint roller used to remove hair. The blanket has no cover, which is quite shocking and unhygienic, and the sheets are not cleaned or changed. There is a bag with dirty sheets, which I believe are from before my arrival, and it stayed there the entire time. I think this is very unhygienic—if not outright disgusting. I was lucky and can say that I personally did not have a bad experience, but I don’t think this practice is acceptable. Sheets should at least be washed after each guest, even if they stay only one night. Honestly, this should be reported to the authorities. It’s absurd that a place in Japan—so often praised for its cleanliness—can operate like this in 2025.
