The airconditioning was turning on turning off the whole night, the floors cracking so a lot of noise from the other rooms , the water from the shower literally boiled so impossible to shower , smelling pipes coming from the bathroom

"Best Western Urban Hotel and Spa" this is the name of the hotel! But unfortunately the hotel does not even have a spa 2 years now, as the reception informed us! So the name does not match with the facilities that they say they offer.

All good. Room small but very comfy. ”
We grabbed a coffee in the restaurant Sat evening. There was only 1 waiter. Poor guy had to run around and do everything by himself. 10 tables with guests. He was doing a great job though. During breakfast we had to ask for a fresh coffee, milk and scrambled eggs as they were missing from the Swedish table. On checking out unpleasant female brunette receptionist wanted to make us pay again for the room even though we already paid via agoda on reservation. When called agoda they fixed it but the receptionist offered no apologies. This was very disappointing as the hotel was great the good bye experience changed our feelings about the whole stay.

Hotel explained the error on Agoda, but as I had prepaid no refund was due. It would have been cheaper to just turn up.

Best in name- very good in nature”
A courtyard hotel surprisingly located on a residential street three metro stops from the city centre. The staff were very friendly and attentive, assisting me on one occasion to prise open the lock on my case after I lost the key. Most impressive of all, though, was the black and gold Rococo style dining room. The only disadvantages were its distance from the city centre and the lack of amenities in the area (though a visit to the little cinema down the road would have been nice.) Recommended.

Room and bathroom were smelly Noisy parquet in the corridor so at night if people come back late you definitely wake up. Not enough toiletries (soap and toilet paper). Parking convenient. Not worth the price. The breakfast was ok but the room is too small so not enough place to sit and with kids around making so much noise it’s very unpleasant. The staff dedicated to the breakfast has to be less noisy while clearing the tables and take in consideration that customers are trying to eat.

Une oasis de calme dans la ville, personnel sympathique , chambres confortables. Je recommande vivement apéro en terrasse ( plateau charcuterie très généreuse) suive un dîner dans une décore exceptionnelle.Grande choix au p.dej. Metro à 3 minute à pied -3 stations centre ville Gare Lille Flandre. Hotel idéal pour une escale (parking surveillé).

Ce n est pas en y mettant un lit deux places que l on converti une petite single en chambre double. Plancher et portes bruyants de la fenêtre :vue sur la saleté et les mégots. Malgré un personnel très sympa, je ne suis pas satisfait de cet hôtel.

Nous avons réservé en pensant passer la fin d’année à nous reposer et prendre un petit moment de bien être bien mérité . Très très déçu 😞 malheureusement rien n a été fait ou proposé de la part de la direction ! Pourtant j’ai bien exprimé ma déception a l’Acceuil de l hôtel .

Nous sommes venus pour un week-end et nous n’avons pas compris les avis négatif de cet hôtel. L’accueil, la chambre et les services sont impeccables. Nous avons pris un petit déjeuner à base de produits locaux et c’était excellent. Nous recommandons vivement. Accessible facilement en voiture ou en transport en commun

Quelque peu déçue !”
Une odeur très désagréable et récurrente dans la salle d'eau (canalisations à déboucher ?). L'oubli par le personnel d'entretien de plusieurs gobelets remplis de pastilles (eau de javel ?) dans la salle d'eau. Eau de la douche bouillante malgré les tentatives de réglage. Pas de couverture prévu lors de nuits fraîches. Dernière nuit, lit pas refait par le personnel d'entretien ! Parking toujours plein à craquer, impossible de s'y garer ! et pas facile de trouver une place dans le quartier ! Je n'ai pas testé les petits déjeuners ni les autres repas. Voilà pour le négatif. Sinon, le personnel à l'accueil est très gentil et chaleureux. Moquette confortable dans la chambre. Pas de volets mais des rideaux très occultant. Machine à café, thé, verveine à disposition dans la chambre ainsi qu'une petite bouteille d'eau chaque jour.
