It’s a really great place to stay for the price and location. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The rooms are a little dark, but the dormitory beds each have their own individual light. The dormitory beds have curtains which is nice for privacy. The dorms were clean, and the staff was extremely kind. The only con is there were mosquitos, so I recommend buying mosquito spray and/or medicine. An overall great hostel, and I would go there again for my next stay in Haeundae.

Nice stay near the beach”
Great value for a private room in the off season. Near the beach and easy to get to from the subway station. A 10 minute walk to the main strip in Haeundae. Bed was very comfortable. If I need a room in Busan, I would most likely stay at Canvas again. Bonus: a panini and Americano set at 5,000 won (4,000 if you're a guest) is a good deal.

Great Hostel”
The hostel is clean and has great service. I also like that there are curtains to give some privacy. Each bed has its own light and plug. The lobby, outside areas, and cafe are all great for social gatherings. The hostel is located close to Dongbaek Station, Haeundae Station and Haeundae Beach. I had a great experience and will definitely book this hostel again!

Love the vibes of this place ”
Room was unexpectedly spacious and large!! Really close by to Haeundae beach, was super accessible! Though it is quite a long walk from dongbaek mrt! The room is really dim at night though (even with lightings haha, but the atmosphere of the place is meant to be dark i guess) & the sockets were rather loose so you’d have to push your plugs against the socket for it to work. Other than that, room and toilet was awesome and common area was great too!

Excellent Choice in Busan”
Canvas Hostel is clean, organized, comfortable, and provides great value to all types of travelers who visit the Haeundae area of Busan. Canvas Hostel consists of 2 buildings (right across from each other) on a side street near Haeundae Beach. The staff is friendly and can speak English very well, so don't worry if you're a traveler who cannot speak much Korean language. Canvas Hostel is my favorite place to stay in Busan and you won't be disappointed if you choose to sleep in this hostel. Just make sure to check-in by 11:00 P.M. and you're good to go!

Wonderful Place to Stay in Haeundae (Busan)”
Canvas Hostel is clean, affordable, and it is a great place to stay near Haeundae Beach in Busan. The staff are courteous and helpful in case of any issue. For example, some of the breakfast items had already been eaten by other guests, so the staff replaced those items with other types of food. This was a creative way to solve the problem. The rooms and bathrooms are also clean. Excellent value for money, especially on weeknights. Highly recommended for any type of traveler.

Please is stylish. Great location, cheerful stuff. Good facilities, especially beds with curtains, which helps you feel to be alone in a dorm. Bathroom within a room. You need to get lookers. Breakfast is ok, nothing special, milk and cereals.

Even though they mess up my booking, they offer me a 4 people room but actually its smaller than the room that i book for 2. Overall, it's worth it for the price and also it's near the train station. It's also walking distance to haeundae beach and dongbaek island.

Good Choice near Haeundae Beach”
Canvas Hostel is a smart place to stay during your next trip to Busan. The 1st floor cafe in the white building is functional and clean. The black building has a lot of dormitory rooms. Both buildings are kept in good condition and the price of the rooms is inexpensive. Great place for Koreans and foreigners to socialize well. Recommended!

The location is super nice, about 5 min walk to both Haeundae beach and The Bay 101. My room is very clean and spacious. The only downside? You need to go to the lobby for wifi. If you have you're own pocket wifi, you're good to go. Will totally go back here again.

Very Good Standard for Hostel Accommodation”
Canvas Hostel offers a clean and comfortable stay for your next trip to Busan. There are 2 buildings with a total of more than 50 rooms, so you can be accommodated regardless of the size of your group. Friendly and attentive staff who understand English well (and some speak English quite well, too). The lobbies in both buildings (there is a 'black' building & a 'white' building) are open 24 hours and are great places to study, cook, relax, and/or meet fellow travelers. Canvas Hostel has a friendly vibe and the room prices are probably some of the cheapest you will see advertised in Busan, so it continues to be a solid choice while visiting Busan and its vicinity. Give it a go; Canvas Hostel is a smart choice.

Pleasant 1st Floor Cafe in the White Buillding”
The white building has a 1st floor cafe with a well-planned layout that enables travelers and customers to have a comfortable place to study, chat, eat, drink, and be merry. The staff are pretty friendly and the computer by the window (although a bit slow!) is available for guests to use. The 1st floor cafe in the white building is probably the overall highlight of Canvas Hostel. My room itself was in the black building, but I felt much more comfortable in the white building 1st floor cafe.
