Hi Monthinee, Citadines Bastille Marais thanks you for taking the time to submit your heartwarming feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed the comfort of our hotel as well as our staff. We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you again soon! Best regards, Jason
Great!”
I have to walk a little at the subway station, but it's not bad because I can stop by the mart on the way. They don't clean it every day, not at the hotel, but they clean it up when the guest requests it. Basic cleanliness is good.

Back after 20years ”
We were in Paris after 20years from our first visit and had a great time. We were booked for 3 nights over a weekend but for various reasons extended for the full week. The front desk staff at the hotel made us feel welcome and could not have been more helpful or friendly. The location between Bastille and Marais districts is fantastic. It's Paris so there are lots of cafes nearby, but a bit unique is the park that the hotel overlooks has a weekend market which runs the full length selling fresh produce and other things. There are also 3 mini supermarkets nearby so you can easily buy what you need. We had a studio apartment overlooking the park which, while a little tired, included a kitchenette and so was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others as if you stay a while like we did you can begin to experience life like a local.

Great Location, easy access to metro”
I am totally satisfied with the hotel. I am so glad I found this hotel as it was so near to the subway and getting in and out of the hotel was a real breeze. The proximity to many convenience stores was a real booze and on Thursdays and Sundays, there is a morning market selling so many delicious food and foodstuff right outside the hotel. The nearness to Bastille is also a plus point.

Best stay in Paris so far”
My 8th time in Paris and probably the best place I have stayed so far (ok be fair because this time I have more budget ...) While I was selecting hotel, I wanted one with a kitchenette - so this one turned up in my search. Knowing it is belong to a big global group so have a bit more confidence, hence I booked it. Compared to the other hotel that I stayed in London, it is not newly renovated - but I think still in acceptable condition. Nothing luxury, wish it could be better, but definitely usable. Location is not bad - just a few mins walk from the metro station. But most of time I walked to Bastille area for meal and other stuff too, which is around 10 mins walk. Staff very friendly - best I have encountered so far. Building quite secured too as need the key card to get inside the building - which is good as Paris doesn't have the lowest crime rate in the world.

Very Good location nice staff”
Strongest points are location, close to Metro line 5 one station from Bastilles, staff is nice, good service. Rooms are very decent. The only thing is the price, I think it was a bit expensive.

Excellent location, comfortable, friendly staff”
We were four girls sharing a self-catering apartment. It said max four people, so we were a bit worried that it would feel too small, but it was absolutely fine, no problem at all. The flat had one spacious bedroom with twin beds and one big sofa bed which was very comfortable and fine sleeping two people in. The flat also had a little kitchen area with a table, a window with a nice view of Parisian rooftops, etc. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the free wifi worked well, the lobby has free coffee, umbrellas for guests to borrow, etc. The location of this hotel is excellent, 5-10 minutes walk from Place des Vosges and all the shops and restaurants Marais has to offer. I will definitely stay here again.

Not appreciate unstable wi-fi. However kitchen equipment was sufficient enough to have breakfast in room.including microwave oven, coffee maker, pans, knives, dishes, cutlery, dish washer wine opener and more. Good access to metro stations; 5 min walk to metro Bastille(line 1, 5, 8) 2 min to Bréguet - Sabin(line 5) 3 min to Richard-Lenoir(line 5) 10 min to Voltaire(line 9) You can have free coffee 24HRS at lobby.

Stay was good”
We stayed here for a night. Before this, we stayed in other part of Paris for 5 nights. We chose this hotel as we were travelling with infant and we're looking for cooking. The room facility, kitchen were well organised. The staffs were also friendly. Everything was fine in the hotel, but the only constraint was the location. If you are looking for a quite environment near the hotel, then this is the place to stay.

In the heart of Paris”
Visiting Paris from our hotel was quite easy as the subway is quite close. The staff offers pertinent information, the room was clean though a bit small but, talking to the person at the front desk, it would have been necessary for us to specify that we would have liked a bigger room when we made the reservation. Breakfast was good and open coffee station was appreciated.

Good for what it is in an expensive city”
It was a good base for the Marais area. My scoring is more to do with the fact that Paris accommodation in general is very expensive so the price was ok for the location and city. otherwise the rooms were big, if a little tired and old, and the location was perfect.

great location and proximity to subway”
Totally satisfied with my stay at the hotel. I booked a two room apartment and i am totally satisfied with the condition of the room. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and prepare a meal and there were more than enough utensils in the kitchen. We were really happy to see a morning market right outside the hotel on thursdays and sundays. The availability of round the clock coffee and tea is a great thing for the hotel.

Felt like at home.....”
As Singaporean, felt home the moment i step into hotel and room. Room and cleaniless of hotel is great ! Very comfy. Like return to home. However, the reception who checked us in has very bad customer service. The counter staff told us off at LEAST 3 times that hotel entrance door is automatic and don't need to push the door. The door is VERY EXPENSIVE !! He repeated told us 3 times and also told my mum again. My mum kept quite cos we are in foreign land. The weather was 2 degree when we checked in and i told my mum and daughter to get in the lobby to wait while we unload luggages from the Taxi. My mum and daughters then told me that they didnt push the door at all. We are from Singapore and knows very well that the hotel door is usually automatic. Only thinking is that the door sensor didn't work and touch the door again. This hotel is owned by Ascott, a Singapore company. The hotel managment should know what we are talking about. Will anyone or the staff himself be happy if he was told the same?? and 3 times?? Is this the correct way to talk to a customer when he didnt really see what's going on at the entrance?? He seated at reception area, warm and cosy.

convenient ”
The hotel is nearby Metro which is easy to travel around, it is a lot more convenient as it is also surrounded by the restaurant and supermarket. The receptionist (the gentlemen with beard) is very nice and helpful by providing information without hesitating. One last thing to recommend is that there is no housekeeper to clean the room while we are away during the day, other than that it's wonderful hotel to stay.

Very comfortable hotel and very local.”
We stayed over the weekend. The studio was a great choice and would be fantastic for a couple for a longer stay. Markets across the road on the weekend was a great find, with fresh cheeses, hams, fruit and veg. All can be cooked in the kitchen of the studio. Great accomadtion at a great price. Very helpful staff.

Hard to Fault”
We had a studio room which consists of a pull-out sofa-bed (v. comfy) wiith dining area(in which to eat your locally bought croissants / baguette etc for brekkie), kitchen & bathroom. Reception staff very helpful. 20 mins walk to Notre Damme / Hotel De Ville and another 10 mins gets you to the Louvre. Some good tabacs/bars/restaurants tucked away in the side streets surrounding the hotel.
