Novotel Avignon Centre Hotel is our choice as transitional stop between TGV and rental car and it serve the purpose quite well. Gare Avignon Centre is just 5 minutes of walking and taking TER to TGV station is just 6 minutes.

We were very happy staying in Adagio Access Avignon because the staff is very informative, very helpful and the most friendly hotel staff that we have never meet in France. We discovered this hotel in July and came back with our daughter and parents and loved it again. The garden is quiet, cicadas make the environment specially tranquil, pool is clean, a bit chilly, but safe and nice or kids, rooms have all you need. We have not tried the food yet, but were told it is very good. Will definitely be back.

This is a marvellous hotel - magical setting in lovely courtyard and shaded courtyard garden to eat in, minutes from train station and walking distance to all of Avignon sites, staff were especially friendly and helpful and roof top pool to cool off in - I thoroughly recommend it

What to say? From the assistant general manager that takes his beer in front of the guest with its cigarette to the night manager that smoke inside of public areas. The room is noisy, not well cleaned and the location is really on the road. I believe this choice remains only available when no other hotels are available.

Good value and location. Just outside of the old town.

Exactly what you need after a long journey. Although the room is small the beds are very comfortable, and there is little or no noise from the surrounding area. Perfect for a one night stop over to recharge and sleep well.

Great stay. Anne-Lise and her family were really nice and helpful, they even gave me French cooking lessons!

Nice Hotel, good choice if you plan to drive in Avignon

The hotel is far from the center of the city or sightseeing spots, but bus trassportation is available. Bus station is at near Carrefour close to the hotel. Note that the number of buses are limited and there is no bus in night time. This hotel is a kind of motel and useful for travelers with a car.

If you visit Avignon, it's worth every penny you paid. The staff is so helpful. They will tell you where to eat. Which resturants are for tourists. The information to visit the Avignon old town is so useful. One point need to be awared. The check in area is different from your living area. It's not easy to find it with the map posted on the entrance.

We ordered to rooms with twin beds. we got what we wanted the staff were polite and efficient and the room was nice and cosy.

The hotel is not within the rampart of the city. it needs 15 minutes to walk to the old center. But there is a bus and a bicycle station nearby, so one can still reach the palais des papes easily with public transports.
