"Wonderful experience. Ordered late night food, came within five minutes. Had to leave early and checkout was as simple and friendly as my checkin had been too. I know the bars and restaurants in the hotel are a popular place for a nice night out to the local residents. My friend tells me it's the best hotel in Bakersfield and I can see why. I live in Los Angeles and know the hotels. If the Padre were teleported here, it would demand over $200 a night for the King room I got at the standard $99 price. I would recommend the hotel for couples especially. If you're in the area and want a bang for your buck, this is a nice way to class it up without breaking the bank."
