"As a Indonesian mother who loves to travel together with my 2 teenage kids, especially when we stayed in this hotel, when we accompanied my oldest daughter who are accepted in UC Berkeley, we felt very touched with the warmth showed by this hotel for welcoming the new students of UC Berkeley Class 2023. I love as well, with the cleanliness of the room and the freshness of beach atmosphere surrounded this hotel."

"It wasn’t a bad hotel but it wasn’t the best either. You get what you pay for. It’s an old hotel so you can hear through the walls. So if you don’t mind that at all then this will be good enough for you. What I liked was that the bathroom was clean so that was a plus. The room however was just okay. There were carpet stains. Location is absolutely the best. There’s Target nearby and a lot of restaurants. The BART (metro) is also nearby. Uber is also accessible. We had to get to the airport and left at 5am. Uber was conveniently available at that time. For safety, we admit it was sort of scary? Some guest got lost and tried opening our door one night. Kids were also trying to rattle the doorknobs as they passed by. There are lots of homeless people outside too. That’s not the hotel’s fault though. All in all, it was just an okay stay."

"This is a lovely hotel based only a short walk from the UC Berkeley main campus. It has a fun college-room style theme to the bedrooms which is a nice design choice that makes good use of the small space. It is perfect for a short stay in Berkeley, though is perhaps more suited toward the individual academic traveller rather than a couple. I would definitely stay here again. "
