Would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone looking for a stay in Bubhaneshwar. FOOD: The Food is also very Good in Terms of Taste, Value for Money and Quantity. We had the breakfast included in our stay and the variety and the Menu was good. One Night ordered dinner in the room and the other had in the Kabab Restaurant. Both were Good. The Kabab Restaurant had Live Performance and the singers were good. Staff: The service is good. Staff is cooperative and responds quickly to the requests. ROOMS: Very Spacious and clean. "We had a pleasant experience with Ginger (BBS). To keep it brief - Pros: 1. Great Ambience and location. 2. Hassle free check in. 3. Cleanliness and room maintenance (spot on). 4. Helpful staff. 5. Easy access to places and good restaurants (tourism wise). Cons: 1. Check in timings (12 PM - 12 AM) sounds gross. Have been to many hotels in India and this has never been the case with any, not even Ginger Vizag. So why the change for BBS? 2. Restaurant - They have a good menu on paper but only serve the basic dishes (chicken curries, biryani dal etc).they only seem to care about customers who go for their buffet. The system of no alacarte for breakfast does not seem right. Your hotel is good and it deserves a good restaurant. P.S - It was a very good stay for us in Ginger no doubt about it. But as mentioned, we really do not think 9AM in the morning is treated an early check-in costing us an extra Rs 653. The restaurant is definitely something to be looked into. We stayed for 4 nights and had food at the restaurant only twice, that too coz it was a bandh. We had to look out for other restaurants the other days. We would definitely opt for Ginger BBS. If the cons are really considered and changes were brought, I think it would bring memorable and glorious experiences."

"This hotel is different to the other high rise hotels in the city. It is set around a peaceful little lake with fountains. The executive cottage style rooms have views of the lake and are very comfortable with large rooms with soft beds and modern bathrooms with a bath as well as a shower. Each room has an outside balcony overlooking the lake. The decor is tasteful but are arranged in an hotch-potch manner with the European, Indian, Thai, Indonesian, Buddhist, Hindu artefacts and paintings all jumbled together rather than arranged in similar groups. There is a jogging track, interesting swimming pool, well-equipped gym, spa, 4 restaurants, tennis courts and entertainment areas for weddings and special events. The in room service is good and tasty. I would have given it a top score except for the following. The A/C are electricity frequently was interrupted due to power cuts and the generator switchover was not seamless resulting in 5-10 minutes of complete darkness at night which is disconcerting if you are on the bathroom at night. There are numerous hotel staff and at times their presence is intrusive and guests feel uncomfortable as if they are being scrutinised. All over the world hotel rooms are generally charged at double occupancy rates but in this hotel it is an extra charge! None the less this hotel is probably the best in Bhubaneswar."
