Traveling to France? Find Caen hotels

Located close to a supermarket and quick access to roads/highways leading to various spots in carentan. Caen city Centre was maybe a 20 minute walk so pretty ok. Room was decent, clean, a small kitchen perfect for preparing light meals. Good soundproofing from the other rooms and a decent tv. Kinda like reliving my student days:)

Simple in all regards. Recent refurbishment has greatly improved it since our last visit. No frills, just a nice little hotel offering clean, comfortable bedrooms and continental breakfast, located ideally (almost) on the Caen peripherique.

Our room was rather dark and dingy although it was given to us because we checked in early and we were told they would change us to a more modern room if we wished.

There was nothing fancy about this hotel. It was well located for someone needing an affordable place to stay while traveling in Normandy. It was clean and a good value.

I booked a room through agoda and tried to contact the owner for more information. However, the owner responsed in French a few days later. After charging the credit card for my room, the owner sent an email in French for a code the enter the building and the room. We were going to festival beauregard - great little hotel if you just want to stay nearby. Has aircon, but barely worked. Arrive at 3pm and had to wait an hour for the room to be ready. Reasonable bed and good parking - much better than a tent!!

We booked online a family room for 31 euros. We paid 5 euros each for breakfast. It was great value for money. The hotel has no staff after 11 each day til 6pm, which we found unusual, but the check in service at the security gate was very easy, so we got our key card to our room and were able to get in without issues. Clean, modern comfortable room. The bed was a bit hard for my liking but I suspect for most people it would be ok. Close to a restaurant, gas station and a small mall you can get food. Breakfast available at a very reasonable price of about 7 euros. I was not able to take advantage of it so dont know the quality of food.

Excellent value for money. Breakfasts good. Plenty of food, although typically French ie bread, cheese, ham, jams, cakes, fruit, fruit juice. Tea, coffee and chocolate made specially - no machines! The breakfast buffet was pretty nice.

Fantastic stay with use of spa facilities. Don't miss the restaurant as it's a dining experience to remember. Great attention to detail and lovely staff. A bit of a drive out of town but well worth it and free parking

Slight mix-up over our booking, which had been done online, but they sorted it out and gave us two comfortable and nice rooms. It is an excellent location -very close to old Caen and just by the market, lots of restaurants etc nearby. That was also the only disavantage as it was a bit noisy in the evening. Very friendly and helpful staff.

If you are on a trip where you want to see all the WWII historic sites, this hotel is a fine starting point for all your tours. Caen is a lovely city and you are right in the middle og everything.

Both large bed and single bed are comfortable. Room is clean. 15 mins drive from Caen town center.

Amazingly friendly and helpful host! WONDERFUL fresh, homemade breakfast worth every penny. Incredibly comfortable bed and sofa bed for our child. Great black-out curtains and climate control and soft towels. Perfect location in the center of Caen. Would recommend this hotel to anyone but especially families with children!!
