"I stayed here for a few days while visiting Fukuoka. The rooms are basic but you hlget what you pay for. The lobby makes it feel more expensive than it really is. Felt they could have labeled the location a bit better. The sign was hard to see unless you walk right past it and turn your head. Friendly staff and close to some shopping centers."

"I booked this hotel at the last minute, so there weren't a lot of other options available that were in my preferred price range. Fortunately, Hakata Green Hotel turned out to be a really great experience. The hotel was right next to Hakata Station, which is only two stops from Fukuoka Airport. I was a little confused by the directions I got from Google Maps because I arrived at the place that is marked on the map and it turned out to be Building No. 2, and then there's an Annex. Building No. 1. is part of the complex, though, so once I realized that it was all on the same block, I had no trouble finding the hotel. I'm not sure how much English support the staff is able to provide, but my simple Japanese was good enough to get by. Check in was quick and easy, and the room was clean and comfortable with good facilities. I slept like a baby on the comfortable bed, and then I had breakfast at the buffet on the bottom floor the next morning. Most of the dishes were European, but there were some Japanese style breakfast items to choose as well, and the coffee was delicious. Overall, I felt like the quality was just right for the price, and I would stay here again."

"This should not be called a hotel unless your idea of a hotel is to check in inside an office. If you're looking for a lobby with a reception desk, look elsewhere. Our room was inside an apartment building. That said, the room was fine. Three queen beds, one on the floor was great for a family of four. Plus a kitchenette, washing machine and bath tub. None of which was advertised, by the way. Please don't call it a hotel."

"If you are visiting Fukuoka for the first time, this location is arguably the best place to be. The area is very cosy surrounded by cafés and bars, and it is very close to the train station. It has similar vibe as to Tokyo's Omotesando area which is very nice. Though it is surrounded by bars, the area is not noisy. The only downfall with this hotel is that it is smaller than the average Japanese business hotels. Overall a very good location and I would stay here again. The staff were very friendly too which is always a pluss. "

"The hotel is under the Hotel MyStays chain, which is just like the many other chains in Japan. As expected, rooms and bathrooms were small but clean and complete with all the necessary items to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel is only a three-minute walk from the Tenjin Chikagai and Tenjin Station, and hence the entire city is easily accessible. Tenjin Station is only a few stops from Nakasu Kuwabata, Hakata and the Fukuoka Airport Stations. We did a day-trips to Hiroshima (via Shinkansen from Hakata Station) and Nagasaki (via bus from the Nishitetsu Bus Terminal), which were very easy to get to. The hotel's vicinity has countless restaurants, karaoke centers, drug stores, convenience stores and the traditional yatai at night. It is also within a five- to ten-minute walk to the Daimyo and Imaizumi neighborhood, which is probably the best shopping area in Fukuoka. Not to mention that Tenjin has a Parco, Mitsukoshi, Iwataya, Daimaru, Loft, Tenjin Core, Vivre, Aeon and many other shopping centers! Staff were, as with any other Japanese, extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay in this hotel when in Fukuoka."
