Green Island hotels & places to stay

The service and staff were fantastic. They met us at the ferry terminal and picked up our luggage and arranged for electric scooter rentals for us for the duration of our stay and had the scooters delivered to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, at a cute little restaurant less than a minute walk from the hotel. The view from our room and from the rooftop patio were stunning. Located just a short walk from the lighthouse.

My stay here was absolutely perfect. I had not ridden a motorbike in the past and the staff took the time to teach me and gave me great tips for the island. The facilities are clean and I met some cool people staying in a 4 people dorm. To top it off, I left something after I left, and they graciously mailed it to me free of charge. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in Green Island!

green island itself is very small but you will still need some form of vehicle. most travel around the island on a scooter but you'll need an international driving license (if you don't have a chinese driving license) to rent one. rental is very cheap. we didn't have a license so the hotel rented us an electric bicycle which worked out great as well. the hotel itself is fairly old but clean. the reception staff are generally friendly and helpful provided you speak chinese. english language is extremely limited but this is not just for bali resort but for all hotels and shops on green island. there was a fun bbq buffet outside the hotel costing twd where some of the staff spoke english. the hotel room we got had a really good view of the ocean so that was great. the bed had a really old mosquitoe netting surrounding it so that made the whole room feel rather shabby and a little dingy but was ok on overall. reccomendable to stay, probably about 3 star rating.

The B&B makes all the essential arrangements for you: scooter/bike rental, snorkeling/diving equipment rental. The host will provide transport from the ferry terminal on the day you check in and to the terminal when you check out. However, do let him know in advance (via email/phone) your ferry timing. The host is very friendly and knows the island very well. He took us on a free and very informative night tour to see the wildlife (deers and insects) and places of interest on the island. He was our guide for the snorkeling trip and we got to see a lot as he knows the spot very well. The B&B is off the main road and hence the environment is very quiet. The rooms and shared bathroom were clean. The host was also very kind; he allowed us to use the washing machine and sometimes bought drinks for us. Overall, I would recommend the B&B to anybody wishing to get the most out of their stay at Green Island/Lyudao. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Green Island in the future.

If you need a place to relax immediately after arriving seasick from the Taitung-Green Island ferry, this is it. Mooncastle is located right outside the ferry terminal entrance road, so you can walk there after disembarking from the ferry. It is a B&B style accommodation, breakfast prepared by the owner each morning at a time of your choosing, and they also offer electric bike rentals for those who do not have a license appropriate for a regular gas-powered scooter. They also offer diving/snorkeling packages, but I did not use that while I stayed. Room was very spacious, A/C worked well, hot water worked in the shower, and everything was very clean. 10/10

It’s located right next to the township clinic, and very close to the wharf and the main restaurant strip. The staffs are super friendly, they will arrange all of the itinerary including the ferry tickets booking for you if you contact them in advance. I was there with 3 teenagers and one of them got sick they day before we leave green island . I was waiting with my niece at the clinic for her subscription and cause a delay on our diving tour. The owner kindly came over and accompanied my niece so I can take my sons to the tour. Ms. Guo gives very great advices on recommending tours and arranging the timing for us, we enjoyed the green island to the fullest thanks to all of them. I will definitely book there again in the future when I plan a trip visiting green island.

We stayed for 3 nights on Green Island amidst a much longer China/Taiwan trip in order to scuba dive. Given the selection of hotels on Green Island, we were a bit hesitant at first, to stay at a 3-star hotel. After some time researching the inventory of hotel options, we decided to stay at Luti Sea Shore Hotel. As it turned out, Luti was an excellent choice as the hotel is fairly new, internet works great and the staff there are very helpful. After reserving our room through Agoda, Richard from Luti booked our ferry tickets there and coordinated our scuba diving (both websites were in Chinese only). He arranged for us to be picked up and dropped off at the ferry on Green Island side as well. For an additional charge, they provided us with scuters to enjoy during our stay. We're very grateful to Luti Hotel staff and would certainly stay there again! PS. There is only one ATM on Green Island but it doesn't work with Western Debit/Credit Cards. Bring sufficient cash...

The place was adequate for our backpacker needs. Location is nearer the lighthouse, airport and snorkeling area, but further from the pier which we came from. However, we rented motorbikes to travel (everyone does) so it wasn't a big issue. It was located in a quiet alley making it really private and there was a convenience store was nearby. Other than that, the owner was really fun and cool, recommending us all the places to go, what to eat, taking us on a tour at night, going snorkeling with us, booking our ferry tickets in advance and waiting for us at the pier, and he was what made the whole experience really memorable for us! Highly recommended place to stay on a beautiful island!

The staff arranged to pick us up at the port upon arrival. Arranged scooter rental for us. Brought us to the hotel and was extremely helpful. The only issue was that the hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste...first time in my life I came across that situation. But don't let that discourage you from staying there. It's a great little place and as I said very friendly staff.
