The hotel is just across the street from the airport. You can just cross the street to get there. I did not find shampoo in the room and I need to call the reception to get some. I had the feeling that was a trick to get a tip. Just a feeling. The location is not convenient if you really need to stay in Irvine.
Very thankful to find this hotel last minute only complaint would be we could hear all the doors slamming through the night from people coming and going from their rooms it was very loud. And then the sun shining in the morning there were no thick curtains on the windows. But great staff and very nice hotel!
The pro were the location. The con was I could hear people walking through the hallway because the room walls/door are not well insulated.
Hotel was clean and in a good location, they do charge a parking fee of $20 for a gated parking area that wasn't even closed while I was there.
Pros: - Nice rooms with mini fridge, sink, and microwave. - Good breakfast. I love the big omelettes made to order. Cons: - Parking adds an additional $25 charge per night. This gets overlooked in the fine print somewhere. The parking garage is not connected to the building and almost all the available spots are "compact" only. Very squeezed and can be a long walk back...
I felt completely comfortable at this hotel. The facilities were completely clean, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious with lots of options, and we walked there from the airport with rolling suitcases.
Room cost was very reasonable. All staff, from Desk Clerk at registration through in-room breakfast by wait staff were truly excellent! Nice hotel with great location near both the 405 and 5 freeways in Irvine. Very quiet, too. My only complaint is that it was hard to find. The address is on Sand Canyon but the entry is through Hoag Irvine street and have to go through near the hospital entry.

Clean hotel, bathroom is clean, rooms has no odour, environtment is very homie feel. It does feel more like home than a hotel. AC is perfect. Breakfast menu is always the same and not much variation which a little bit dissapointed. Overall, the stay experience was great! definitely will come back again

Stay there for 4 days as need to visit friends in Irvine. Location is good as it's closed to shopping mall and walmart,but the room I stayed was not clean. I still can see something in the trash bins when I walk in. The house keeping quality should be improved.

Relaxed feel, quiet and safe area. The poolside bungalows add a certain chill vibe. I wasn't able to take advantage of all the amenities, but if I am in the area again, I would stay here. I feel like the bad reviews are over exaggerated.

There are plenty of dining options nearby., and staying in is also an option because there is a fully functioning kitchen! We will definitely stay here again!

What a diamond in the rough! This is really a hotel looking to be the next go to place. The pool area was perfect, with the cabanas super comfortable. The staff wasn't the best and they ran out of towels at the pool, which was beyond annoying. It felt like they had 10 towels and when those were used, they had to go through washing and drying so good luck getting on...
