"Room is big to my surprise. Location is just so so, not too near the ferry terminal. They gato parking lot but 1000yen per day. With microwave oven and stove. But you need to pay for cooking utensil rental. They don't clean the room if you stay here for a couple of days. "

"Recent apartment to hotel conversion. Rooms are almost new (as of writing), very clean and spacious. Located in a quiet, mostly residential area, but there are a few food options in the vicinity and many options within ~10 minute walk. Nice small bakery just across the street from the entrance. Affordable 24-hour coin laundry just up the street (there are wash + spin dry machines on the 1st floor of the hotel, but they don't actually dry your clothes). Walkable distance to ferry terminal to other islands, assuming you don't have too much luggage. One thing to note, as of writing, check-in was done from separate nearby Mr. Kinjo hotel. Check-in went well and staff was polite, just good to know about the location in advance."

"The room is not big, but is clean and comfortable, but I think the mattress is too soft. I am highly appreciated that there is a washing machine, clothes dryer and small kitchen with all basic utensils, but it will be better if also provide detergent for dish washing. And the location is so convenient. There is walk-able distance to pier, bus stop, restaurant, and supermarket. I would also like to highly commend the hotel staff. Although they are not good at English, they still like to provide sincere service. I left my camera in a restaurant at Ishigaki and seek for their help to get it back for me. They helped me to find it back efficiently and send it back to my country for me."

"Great location, just next to the main street of souvenir shops, restaurants and family mart. A very new and clean hotel which was just opened on 18 Apr 2019. The room is actually for 3 ppl with 3 beds but as my booking is for 2 ppl, they have removed the third bed so the room is relatively spacious in Japan. There is a balcony of the room too. The breakfast looks good but our booking didnt include that so we didnt try it. The only drawback is, the room is a bit noisy. You can hear the noise from the corridor and the shower of the next room. The windows are very sound-proof though. "

"I booked 4 nights for 3 people. I can recommend the hotel. It is very clean, the rooms have enough space for luggage, in the bathroom there is even a washing mashine. The bed is very comfortable and the aircon is perfect for the high humility on the island. If you need new towels you can change it at the reception. They give you even one for the beach. To get to the popular beaches as Yonehara bay you definetly should take the bus. By bike it‘s very exhausting and takes more than 2 hours. Renting bikes is also quite expensive. We spent 10000 yen for 2,5 days (they count it as 3 days). A nice to have would be laundry detergent, place to hang the clothes, cutlery and dishes. Otherwise the kitchen makes no sense and a guest shouldn‘t bring his own pan...but maybe the hotel is quite new and some things are in progress. So all in all a good choice. "

The location is very best, all the restuarants and souvenir shops is nearby. and the bus terminus is quite close. We will choose this hotel again when we back to Ishigaki in the future. "

"The hotel is clean and very comfortable. I went during the time when the summer activities have stopped, so unfortunately didn't get to try them out. It is a good place for star gazing, so although the resort is about 20-30 mins drive from town, it feels safe with all the necessities available."

"My general impression to hotels in Ishigaki is: they cost pretty higher than expected (say when compare to hotels in Okinawa) ART Hotel Ishigakijima is as well slightly pricely than expected. Nevertheless, it is a good hotel with good standard - hospitable and helpful staff, the hotel is clean. The pool is not a big one but the water slide is a remarkable one. it is about 1/2 storey high with water gushing from the top - it should bring fun to the kids who dare to try (the slide is for 110cm below). Unfortunately I have not had the chance to use the public bath and to dine in there so no comments to the restaurant could be made. The key weakness is the carpark below the hotel is ALWAYS full and one have to park in the secondary car park with no choice. It is just a few minutes walk from the hotel - but the puddles along the way will always make one wet on his way back to the hotel when it rains"
