The location is unbeatable. It’s in a middle of the action but not in a super heavy traffic location like the old city. Taxim Square Metro is 200 meters away which is convenient. For a first timer in Istanbul like me, I usually used taxi to get to the old city in the morning and get back using metro while the traffic jam is congested in the afternoon. The doormen will assist to get the taxi and explain the destination to the driver. They also gave me a taxi card with the taxi number and also approximate fares to your location. Just in case the taxi wants to cheat you with the fares. For shopping there is istiklal street with farious shops, restaurants, cafes which open even after midnight. My deluxe room with sea view is big, with complete 5 stars amenities. Bed is super comfortable, bathroom is spacious with good water pressure. Do yourself a favor and book a room with bosphorus sea view. That morning and afternoon view from the room is priceless. Totally recommended

We choose this location due to proximity to airport. Room is impeccable,stunning view overlooking the highway &Malls Breakfast choices are aplenty, eggs corner& some Asian dishes which don’t often found in other hotels in Turkey. Airport shuttle is Euro7,very reasonable for 35min journey. Free shuttle to Istanbul mall runs on schedule. Services is attentive & sufficient overall

Everything was great except the use of the pool. I booked this hotel specifically because of its location and pool, but was not impressed when I arrived at the pool for a swim after a long, hot day of sightseeing and was told that both I and my husband had to wear a swimming cap to enter the pool, and of course this would cost us 10 TL. Having booked a 5 star hotel, I expected to be able to swim as I wanted or at least informed of the policy beforehand or should have been provided a cap rather than charged for adhering to their policy. When we asked the manager to provide us with an explanation of why, she said it was hotel policy but could not produce any written format of said policy !!

Booked this hotel after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. Located in the old town part of Istanbul, you are surrounding by any good eating places and bars, plus the usual tourist shops with their tat for sale. Very close to the main train station, which is ideal for catching the Metro train to take you under the river and to the "Asian" side of Istanbul. The Tram stop is another 3 minute walk away, and all the main attractions (Topkapi Palace, Bascilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque)are just up the hill from the hotel and will take you roughly 10 mins to get to them. It was a very good and wise choice booking here. Very friendly staff, and offered tea and coffee when we first arrived. Stayed in room #502 on the top floor, which had a balcony with views over the roof tops of surrounding buildings. Maybe not actually the best view, but we had a great view of the Galata Tower through the other buildings. Breakfast, I have to say, was one of the best that I have had in any hotel.

We stayed for 7 nights at Wyndham Grand over two trips and absolutely loved it. There has clearly been a lot of thought put into the hotel and it really shows. The bedrooms are very homely and sumptuous with great beds and lovely soft feather pillows. The aircon is really quiet too! The family room is nice if you have one child as there is a small area with sliding doors behind which there is a single bed, we also had a cot which due to the generous overall size of the room was no problem. The child room also has its own TV. The staff are so friendly and kind. Senem in Guest relations and the Concierge team can't do enough to help. There is a taxi station outside so getting a taxi is so simple. The are where Wyndham Grand is must be one of the best in Istanbul, and clearly there is much affluence in the area. It really is a great location and you can walk to many quality places to eat or shop. Bagdat Road is minutes away. For kids there is a nice safe(not too deep) pool with lots of shade. Outside the hotel and within 2 minutes walk there are parks and gardens with play areas plus a promenade that runs the entire length of the coast. I can't say enough good things about the hotel.

We spent 5 lovely days in istanbul in this hotel. Thought the street where teh hotel is was very quiet, getting out of the hotel and walking 100m we were suddenly at the heart of istanbul close by every beatiful and important site seeing (Sultanahmet Mosque, Aya Sofia, Topkapi palace, the sistern, grand bazar); also very close to public transportation. Our room was upgraded to a better room with same price as we asked for a better view. View from the terrace while having breakfast is very good; food is clean but very basic.

this is an excellent small friendly hotel where everyone is helpful conveniently situated for every type of visit access to tourist spots is easy as all types of transport are conveniently available also shopping and as in our case our yearly visits to hospitals for controls. Our first choice of hotels in Istanbul. the only thing at present missing is their excellent restaurant in the evening.

This was our first time visit to Istanbul and I am happy we chose Mirrors Hotel. They provide only rooms and the hotel does not provide any food or beverages. There are so many shops and restaurants around which are open until late night. There is Hafiz Mustafa just at the corner of this building so sweet lovers will definitely love to stay here. The staff is very friendly and are usually there for any help or advise. I will definitely come back to Mirrors hotel. This is the best location as we walked to Taksim Square and Galata tower. Taksim square has the metro station so it was easy to get to other parts of the city. most of the sight seeing places are a walking distance from this location.

We were on a 16 day land tour of Turkey and the tour company booked us into the Conrad for the first night and the last two nights. Due to flights, we got there two days earlier and stayed one day later. This allowed us five spectacular days in Istanbul. This is truly a five star hotel i.e. Obama stayed there approximately two months prior to our visit. Hotel initially appears to be out of the way but is extremely convenient to everything you want to see and do. In a taxi and for approximately $8 U.S. (don't take it from the hotel but rather walk across the street and hail one i.e. much less expensive)you are in the old city or you can take the metro there for approx. $1 U.S. per person. In the vicinity of the hotel, there is excellent dining down the hill and to your right in an entire maze of shopping and restaurants. Overral, a great experience if your are prepared to pay for it ENJOY

Best choice if you coming for business and not willing to visit dowtown alot as it very far (50min). For families, pick this hotel if you have car only, but your family will not like long driving everyday. The hetel close from good places such as airport, istanbul mall, venisya & 212 outlet malls. I would recommend this hotel for whomever coming with low budget and have private car with driver (the car with driver cost is 100$/day in low season and 150$ in high season. Do not book it without car!

I dont know why there are so many negative reviews, My stay was extremely comfortable. Many thanks to the lovely and friendly lady Aysan for assisting us. Staff speak good English (a rarity in Istanbul), are very friendly and will guide you on the best way of going to different places in Istanbul. Superb location in the heart of Sultanahmet. Extremely clean, prompt housekeeping and room service. Superb breakfast spread. Rooms are clean as well, lots of mirrors though. Only downside I can think of are facilities for disabled guests. The street to the hotel has a slight slope upwards. Main entrance has 5 steps. There is a ramp, but very steep and difficult to push a wheelchair. However, staff are quick in helping you up the ramp. Many thanks to Ayetollah for always helping us. If you are in Block C, the entrance to the elevator has a navigable ramp. However, if you are in A or B, you have to climb 9 steps, there is no ramp here! Use their taxi , its the same rate as outside and safer.

I'm a regular traveller to Istanbul and always stay near the Blue Mosque. I like to choose different hotels through Agoda to try out all that Istanbul has to offer. This hotel didn't disappoint. Nice room with a view. Terrace dining with great breakfast fare. Nice Bar and restaurants close bar with Nargile after dinner. Family enjpoyed it. Manager looked after my luggage whiel we went to Channakale

We loved the location of Nippon Hotel. It is a neat, clean and hospitable place. For the first time ever, we have one of the executives walk us to the hotel room, introduce features, and made us feel so welcome. I have travelled a lot and this has never happened before! I understand Nippon hotel has been renovated and this has made the place really modern and nice. Also, there are magazines published by the Nippon Hotel on Istanbul and on the happenings around. That helped in many of our decisions on where to go, what to do. I enjoyed my time out there.

Get your own tea and water, Breakfast is amazing . Staff at the reception is extremely helpful. People at the entrance, some of them are superb except one or two who are not welcoming at all. Rooms are not five star standard at all but the location is excellent. Breakfast is amazing here. Probably the best spread we had in Turkey. The view is amazing from the restaurant. The only problem I had was not getting a proper black tea and you have to pay for the water to make tea. It was a huge problem. Housekeeping service is slow and sometime you have to wait even after you get back in the evening. Swimming pool area is great . Sauna and steam are excellent. Very very close to a lot of hip places. They need to sort the tea, water and housekeeping thing out. Getting to room from the lift requires a lot of walking.

I booked this place one day (30 hrs ) befo the day I arrived. Got confirmation email from Agoda already. When I arrived in afternoon the reception told me they can’t find my booking I need to contact Agoda by myself Or Book again They are still nice enough to let me pay the same price as I paid to Agoda with new booking. Until now I still can’t contact Agoda call center. There s always jut automatic reply Make sure u really have ur booking befo ur arrival.

This place is the highest value of money you can ever get. A five star luxury suits with new levels of comfort and cleanliness. A very friendly staff. The perfection was however overshadowed with intermittent availability of internet. I hope thats a temporary problem during my stay only. A great place for using AtaTurk airport. You can easily access city center using underground metro (tube/subway) and tram.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful in arranging me a late check out and an early check in. They were also helpful in giving me directions around the local area. The hotel has a great swimming pool and sauna, when I used it there were were no other guests so I had the place to myself. Bliss. The breakfast was also very good. Good range of food and good quality. Next time I go to Istanbul I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

This was my very first visit to Istanbul and I chose this hotel because of it was centrally located at Sultanahmet district or the Old City. I have booked the Junior Suite for 4D3N for 4 pax, since I was coming with my family of two adult children. Upon check in with the hotel, we were greeting by the hotel person in charge Mr. Canberk Derinpikal; a friendly guy who was helping me a lot in planning my stay/visit in Istanbul. Our room was upgraded to an Executive suite located on the upper floor on the next day without paying any extra charges. Although the room is smaller, but it is spacious and comfort compare to the Junior Suite; and we are very grateful for the hotel good generosity. The hotel is also come with free Wi-Fi internet access and these help us to share our moment with families and friends back home. We also decided to continue our stay at this hotel for another 4D3N upon our return from Cappadocia. The buffet breakfast was nice, and my family loves it. I had not try the gym facilities but me and my wife did have a good Turkish bath and massage located at the hotel basement floor. Overall the hotel staffs are friendly and helpful, and we have a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It was a memorable trip to us, we loves Istanbul for it history and cultures.

Location was great. Plenty restaurant and market nearby. Istanbul Airport is just 7-10 min away so taxi is also cheap 15-20 Turkish LIRA but be careful some taxi driver will take you round for nothing just to make bit extra money even though u going to pay them tip anyway but they will still try to do extra miles by taking you around.Hotel staff and manager very helpful polite and will provide you everything they can. Breakfast could have been little better but apart from that everything else perfect. Thanks

It's my first time in istanbul and but the last time in my next visit for Bon hotel. My booked room was superior double room but they gave us a standard double room and said that's the big room in the hotel and they will changed it after two days but not happened and i asked two times later for my problem and they said that tomorrow manager will solve it but no one helped me so never trust the pictures of the site. But it's a good choice for its location in the middle of old city beside hagia sofia, sultanahmet, gulhane park, top kapi palace and grand bazar. Five minutes walking you will be in gulhane tram station. Cleaning is not good its about changing bed sheets only. Breakfast is standard and basic but fresh and delicious. It's suitable for who is coming to explore the city and the hotel for just sleeping zone.

Excellent hotel, excellent location! Staff is really helpful with a big smile. Feels like home! I am glad I managed to find such a wonderful hotel in a very busy city like Istanbul. When I book four times at Yasmak during my last four visits to Istanbul, that tells everything! Good job management and staff & thanks for making my stay in Istanbul as pleasant as I always look forward to.
