"Stayed at Greet Inn after exploring other highly rated hotels in Kaohsiung. Glad we booked with Greet Inn. It's a newer hotel and very well decorated and furnished. It's close to a 7-11 and Family Mart for drinks and snacks. It's about 20 mins walking to Liuhe Nightmarket and 10 mins to the nearest MRT station. For the price of the hotel and the amenities, this hotel will be on my list of must stays in Kaohsiung. "

"Good value for money. Kaohsiung is very cheap overall. This place is one street away parallel to the Liuhe night market which contains cheap eats and is a short walk to the Formosa Boulevard station which is the station connecting both the MRT red line and orange line so you are perfectly setup to explore Kaohsiung using the metro. The hotel itself is clean and the room is spacious with a good shower which has very high pressure on full setting (which I like); water pressure is adjustable. My booking came with included breakfast which I did not enjoy as I felt the street food available around the corner was better food. The lift sometimes takes a long while during check in or check out times due to high demand but otherwise fine. There are self-service laundry washing machines and a dryer on the rooftop. Washing machines are free (need to buy laundry powder or bring your own) but dryer is coin operated. No good view even if you get a window. Overall, I would stay here again."

"Very close to houyi mrt station. When you have arrived Kaohsiung train station, just take the mrt to houyi mrt station, it's only one station away. Very convenient. The location of this hotel is 100m away from houyi. We booked two nights in Kaohsiung. However, due to the sudden change of our itinerary, both of us decided to forfeit the second night. The staff was kind enough to help us upgrade to two double beds during our one night stay :) "

"Excellent location (next to Kaohsiung Station just 1 minute walk),in the middle of the Kaohsiung city( i think), 20-minutes away from the Kaohsiung Airport by MRT. Room is clean and relative large (can fully open 29" baggage without blocking). Bed is large (Double bed room) No bathtub, just enterprise but i like it( maybe only my room type is enterprise). Shampoo, shower gel are provided. Staffs are nice and helpful. Even we are check in at very late night. 7-11 is very close to hotel, just 1-2 minutes away (typical Taiwan style, convenient stores everywhere). Fast food shop just next to hotel (MacDonald, KFC, Yoshinoya) its seem to open 24hrs. Apart from those fast food store, a lot of local Taiwan food store are also next to hotel (walk out the hotel, face to Kaohsiung station, left-hand side local food, right-hand side fast food) On the whole, its well worth the money"

"The hotel basically met all my expectations on what a 4-Star Hotel should be. The room was superbly comfortable and clean, the furnishings are great, and the service is very, very good. The buffet breakfast is also very enjoyable, featuring international and local Taiwanese dishes. In terms of attractions, the Pier-2 attraction (駁二區) is located just opposite the hotel. Location, however, is a problem in my case as I decided not to take a taxi. The nearest Kaohsiung MRT station, Yanchengpu (鹽埕埔), is located around 20 mins+ walking distance from the hotel. Its best to consult your map and understand the road names before heading there from the MRT station, as that area is a few road names that are quite similar if pronounced in English (Dayi Rd, Dayong Rd, etc.) In addition, unless you are dining out at the hotel, there isn't really any food choices nearby. During my stay I had my dinner at the Okmart convenience store located just opposite. "

"The hotel is about 10 mins walk from Kaohsiung Main Station and located conveniently along the main road. The famous Liuhe night maket and Formosa Station is also nearby. Very convenient to move around to different parts of Kaohsiung. The hotel service is very good. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. They provide free supply of ice-cream and tea. There is free supper daily as well. The room is clean and comfy. Don't feel like leaving the hotel when we have to travel to other parts of Taiwan. Will definitely return to this hotel if we ever visit Kaohsiung again."
