Mammoth Lakes (CA) hotels & accommodations
Very nice! Between the great views, a bajillion stars in the sky at night, and the wide variety of activities to indulge in, Mammoth Lakes has always been a favorite destination, and now I have a new favorite place to stay when I go there.
We had 2 reservations, which resulted in 2 different 2-bedroom condos for the week in which we were guests. Both condos were very nice, but our first 3-night stay resulted in a condo that faced an interior area where a party/band/concert was going on late into the evening. It was very loud and difficult to sleep. Considering we were in Mammoth Lakes for work-related r...
I booked a room with queen bed and an optional 2 twin beds. I was surprised and delighted that when I got into the hotel, I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite. The staff was really friendly and accommodated us in everything that we need. Thank you mammoth mountain inn. We’ll definitely come back here.
I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews but decided to give it a try. All in all we had a good stay. The room was big, clean and had a new A/C unit. The beds and bedding were clean and comfortable as well. We didn't have time to use the pool and hot tub but went in to check them out and they appeared to be clean, maybe next time. The overall condition of the ...
Very good hotel, not expensive for Mammoth Lakes, good breakfast, there was no eggs and potatoes, but they said they usually have it. They have a spa, but it was closed. Very nice, big and clean rooms. Hallways could be better, but you're staing in a room, not in a hallway:) good location, center of Mammoth Lakes. Overall recommend this hotel 10 of 10
Basically Mammoth is a Ski and Ride town. So typically the hotels are a bit rough. This appears to be the best hotel in the area. The ski lift is also near here, but not operational during summer skiing.
Very awful customer service. Man at the front was not very helpful or friendly. Sheets were stained and had dirt on the top. Went down to the front to ask for new sheets and the man said that they don't have extra sheets and wouldn't help us... Jacuzzi was closed for apparently 3 years which wasn't advertised and very disappointing after long days on the ski slopes.. T...
Tamarack Lodge is on the edge of Mammoth Lakes town but is easy to find and served by a shuttle bus to the town centre. The decor and atmosphere inside it nice. It doesn't feel like it's changed too much since it was built in the 1920's but without being too kitsch. The room was a little small but that didn't bother us at all; the lounge of the hotel is snug and invi...
Need to confirm the check in time. I went there after 2 which is around 3 something and they said it is not available to check in until around 4:30pm. It is not there responsible to notify the customer . The stuff said, the hotel need to be ready before the hostel. I think it is rude to say to customer like that instead of being polite and show the customer service. I ...
Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean and cosy. Cookies were nice touch!
I stayed several chain hotels in US, which usually provide simple and ready-made cold breakfast. This hotel provides much better breakfast in real plates and bowls. The staff, bed and location, everything was fine.
Best place we stayed on our trip round California. Really good proximity to Yosemite if your looking to explore there. It also is amazing on its own. The place itself was spotless and huge. Amazing value for money.
Our room was clean and comfortable. We usually stay in a condo/townhouse, but for a short 3 days stay this B & B was fine. Since the room does not have a small refrigerator or microwave, a longer stay would not work for us. Our only complaint was the bathroom showerhead was way too low. It would be okay if you were 5 foot or less.
Had no sleep at all. Booked in for two Queen Beds bud got two Twin Beds. No sleep at all with 4 adults! Also the sprinkler was watering the room. When we arrived the entire floor was wet. Apart from our experience nice place with a lot things to do (Sauna, Spa, Fitness)...
if only there was a way to give this property a negative stars rating!! the only thing good about this property is the location, EVERYTHING ELSE WAS HORRIBLE. (and thats putting it nicely) this place is so outdated and old and broken and disgusting. heaters didnt work properly. maintenance guy couldnt fix because the part he needed would take a week to arrive. (so...
