"I had mixed feelings during our 2 day stay. The location is at Hwy 99 and 140, which is the Merced route to Yosemite, which was nice. It was convenient to fast food. Nice pool, hot tub and breakfast. WiFi worked well. Mixed feelings were due to 2 things. First, when we went to pool our first day, there were a group of adults drinking beer in glass bottles in the pool area, with their young kids swimming and playing. Soon found out that these were off duty employees, as the night manager seemed to be talking to one of them about not finishing their housekeeping duties before swimming. Near them was a sign that said No alcohol and No glass containers in the pool area. That is a general rule in every pool. Shame on them. Second, overall the property shows some wear and looks a little tired. Water pressure in the room is very low. I was worried the toilet would overflow from lack of water pressure. Shower pressure low also. All in all, I would stay again. "

"I stayed here with my adult daughter who goes to the university. The room mas very clean and there was a refrigerator, microwave, and working air conditioner/heater. (I've been to other places in Merced with no working air or refrigerator) The staff was pleasant. The continental breakfast was better than average to me; they did include waffles, and bread to toast. The only thing I didn't like was the close proximity to the freeway. It was kind of loud, but you do get used to it after a while and most of the motels are near the freeway anyway. Overall, the price was right and I found it to be a satisfactory value for the money.
