We booked Coron Westown Resort mainly because they offered a family room style of accommodations. Instead of spending more for two rooms, it was the perfect room for five people. The location is about twenty minutes from the airport but shuttles to and from the airport is provided for a very minimal fee. It was also perfectly located about 10 minutes away from the town which made it a quiet and secluded resort from the busy and noisy town atmosphere. An inexpensive tricycle ride is the best way to the town for restaurants and shopping. The resorts pool, bar and live entertainment, gave us things to do when we stayed in. We would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Coron or I would for the same hotel chain the the other Palawan islands.

The best hotel in Palawan, Sabang area. This place is very quiet and very close to the underground river, nice swimming pools and beach front. Very clean and staff so friendly. We love the variety of breakfast they serve. The only thing they need to improve is the wifi in the rooms. We can't get any signal and we have to go to the restaurant to get a decent connection

Everything was put together so well and it was so organized. The staff I would give a million stars to. They were always happy and helpful. The food, drinks, vibe was just perfect. We took advantage of all the activities they had to offer and each was just as good as the one before. Best massage of my life was here. We can’t wait to go back again. If I had to give any criticism it would be to find ways to have us stay longer. After our three day trip we probably did and saw everything. Which was perfect. But if we were to stay longer I could see some days repeating itself. Which would not be a bad thing at all. But I would love to stay there for two weeks next time with ways of avoiding repetition entirely. Besides that, this destination should be a bucket list location for anyone reading this review. 1000 stars.

i can guarantee here is the best of best hotel in palawan, coron. in coron, there is not too many of hotels and almost are philippines style. so if this is a first trip to here, you feel hard to stay there. the size of resort was not very big but i like all, especially a room. alls are very clean and the room was quite. if i have chance to visit here again, definitly i will choose here!

We had selected Apulit as our starting point to our 3 weeks in Philippines to rest and relax as we had to travel for 24 hours to reach the country. Initially we had planned to stay for 3 nights, but opted to extend to 4 nights once there as we really didn’t want to leave this place. We traveled to the hotel by using ITI and from the moment we step out of the taxi at their private terminal we started 4 days of pure relaxation. I would recommend using ITI as the trip to the hotel in itself is a experience in it self (unless you are nervous about flying with small planes) and offers some beautiful sights from air and boat as well as a hassle free transfer. The resort itself is a beautiful paradise with 6 star service and exceptional staff, that really gives that little extra to your holiday. If you don’t like lying around in the sun all day there’s plenty of activities that can be booked (most of them are free). A nice surprise was that all food was included, something that we hadn’t realized when we booked. My girl friend is a vegetarian and although they lacked any tofu or beans in general, once the chef learned about this he prepared something special for her each evening which was much appreciated. The only hick up was the private van that we booked through the resort, that was going to take us to El Nido town after our stay didn’t show up so we had to wait for 1-2 hours in Taytay until they could find a replacement. But 2 guides from the resort stayed with us the whole time and gave us a tour of the old fort there, which just shows the level of services you can expect. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for and we are definitely going back if we visit the Philippines again.

Went to Palawan for an online appointment with DFA for my sons passport renewal. It was our first time to visit Palawan as well, so decided to go sight seeing at Puerto Princesa after our appointment. We chose HUE hotel since it located right beside Robinsons Mall which is where DFA office is located. It is very convenient , you only need to walk to get to the mall. Quite impressed with the staff , everyone was very friendly and courteous. Special mention to Fortun our shuttle bus driver who met us at the airport. Fortun is friendly and bery informative when we asked for information. Staff at the restaurant ate also very nice and attentive . They had initiative and they remembered what our apecial request were the first day so we didn'nt have to ask for it. They automatically served my son with his glass of ice and set the salt and pepper for myself at our table. They kept on checking if there is anything else we needed. Special thanks to Cha, Chubbs and Charm. The breakfast serve was quite good , they had different choices everyday for the 4 days that we stayed with them. Hotel is 15 mins by tricycle to recommended local restaurants such as Kalui and Kinabutch. Overall we had a very pleasant stay, bed was comfortable and room was clean. I would definitely cme back to stay with HUE:)

We went to El Rio with our 2yo and 10mo kids. An all-in-one beachfront resort like this is a real find, as all the boat trips required to see the sights of Palawan are frankly too challenging with babies and toddlers. We spent 6 days at the resort and never felt the need to go anywhere. The diving and scuba are super right on the house reef, the spa has lots of services and trained professionals, and there are activities organized for kids and adults each day such as kayaking in the mangroves and jewelry making for kids. There is a kids pool and nice sloped shallow area off the main pool that are ideal for young kids, and they have pool toys on hand. Staff are warm and friendly and really try to accommodate all requests. We spent a rainy afternoon in the videoke room, but the library was out of service during our stay. Best of all is the food. We live in Manila and have found that F&B is consistently lacking at even 5-star resorts in the Philippines. At El Rio, we ate something different every day and were very happy with the Western cooking, even if some dishes were a bit too oily and there are quite a few fried items. Our cedar cabana was spacious enough for the baby to toddle around and we adored having the hammock and loungers on the patio and outside to sit and enjoy the start and night sky. It's also great that the only noises are those of nature and the live band. We saw monitor lizards, hundreds of fish, mudskippers, birds, butterflies...endless fauna to admire for the kids! The resort is amazingly stroller friendly, too. We will definitely be back with friends and family.

This hotel was a very welcome place of relaxation when arriving in Coron Town. The pool and grounds are beautiful and the restaurant was great. The bed and shower were the best we came across on Palawan! One thing I would recommend is booking a tour ahead of time for the day of arrival. We arrived around 10 and wanted to go to a beach but there are no nice beaches in driving distance from Coron Town and there were no boats available. Still, I would definitely recommend Corto del Mar if staying in Coron Town.

It was my birthday trip to Palawan, and it was one of the most memorable vacations I've ever had! Being my first time in Palawan, I had no expectations. Yet my stay at Dos Palmas was over my imagination. The rooms were great, the bed the shower the balcony were all cozy and comfortable. We even had bicycles available for rent to get around the hotel grounds. The beach was just within reach, and the restaurant offered fantastic food and the staff were superb. The bartender was particularly fantastic, thank you for the hospitality. Guests were offered complimentary activities such as snorkeling, island-hopping and kayaking. This was great for us! On my birthday itself, I was surprised by a cake and a staff entourage for birthday songs and cake cutting. It was truly sweet and special. Thank you Dos Palmas, we will surely come back if the opportunity arises. Cheers! :)

from the moment when you get out of this tiny plane at el nido's airport and you see this bunch of local women singing for you to the moment when you step into the boat and see the whole hotel staff singing and saying good bye from the peer, you're surrounded by incredible people caring about you and making sure you're enjoying your stay at el nido resorts miniloc island. staff in this hotel is probably my best experience in the world in terms of service. but let's start with the beginning. the hotel is located on a very nice paradise remote island close to el nido. you get there from el nido's airport with a small boat. everything is arranged by the hotel. as far as i remember, also the transfer from manilla to palawan was arranged by the hotel. location is incredible: blue green water like dotted with dozens of small uninhabited islands with karstic cliffs. if you want to explore the surroundings, you can book a canoe at the hotel (for free) and paddle up to the lagoon (only 5 minutes). amazing experience. i went there for diving. the diving centre was very professional. i did a lot of dives, including night dives. during my last night dive, i got stung by a sea urchin. i was immediately taken care of by a doctor, who permanently works at the hotel. he gave me the right treatment and i was fine the following morning. food as the hotel was very good. it is served in a buffet-style. but the staff is preparing the dishes in front of you. the chef shows up every day for lunch and dinner to chat with customers and gets something ready for you in front of you on a simple request. my room was the only disappointing point. it was very simple, even a bit old, decorated in a local style. it was not uncomfortable, but not really in line with the price paid. the hotel's owner has another very nice hotel (with a large swimming pool and a very good restaurant), just 15 minutes away by boat. you can go from one hotel to the other very easily with the shuttle.

Club Paradise did not disappoint! From meeting us at the airport up to our departure, Club Paradise provided superb service. It was not just a "stay" at a resort. It was an experience. From the refreshments provided during transfer and upon arrival at the resort, to the complimentary welcome foot massage, to the afternoon snacks delivered to your bungalow - it was the attention to details that set it apart from other luxury hotels. We celebrated a birthday and the resort provided no less than 3 lovely surprises spread out throughout the day! Cake, balloons and birthday song included hahaha it was very thoughtful! The sunset bungalow was cozy and clean. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Bed was comfortable. Shower water pressure was good as well. The sunset outside was spectacular. The beach was wonderful. Enough space for everyone along the pristine white beach. Though the resort was fully booked, it did not feel crowded at all. The water was the typical Palawan clear blue water. I just stood ankle deep in the water but I could see fishes swimming nearby. Dinner was served on the beach under a blanket of stars while musicians serenaded you in the background. The staff was outstanding! Loved the band too! Should I visit Coron in the future, I would definitely stay here again.

In February 2017 my Filipina GF and I stayed at the Coron Soleil Garden Resort for a week. The resort is very clean, the room was good: an excellent big bed and a very nice shower (with warm water). In the resort the WiFi was working well outside our room; inside the room the speed was reduced but fine for WhatsApp and in the restroom we had no connection. The staff is friendly and helpful; making our stay wonderful. The resort is only a short drive by trike from Coron Town (about 5 minutes). Usually there are a few trikes waiting outside the resort, we only had to wait once for a trike which came within 10 minutes to pick us up to go to town. The only downside of the resort is that the pool bar closes at 10pm, which was a bit early for us; unless you have done some island hopping then you're probably tired enough at that time to go to sleep. The breakfast is good if you like a Philippine breakfast (which I do); there's also an egg station where staff can create your scrambled, soft/hard boiled eggs. So that's excellent! We had a very good stay at this resort. Coron is very beautiful. I full recommend this resort for either relaxing in the resort or to go to some island hopping.

We had one of our best stays at pukka beach in Palawan. The hotels funky decor is charming. Staff are super nice and accommodating. Especially Josephine the front desk manager. It’s a great place to unwind after a long day of touring. The owner has dogs in case anyone has allergy to pets. Outpost hostel is right beside the hotel which is more party place. Next to that is panorama hotel and lounge. We enjoyed our time there as it has good music drinks and food. I loved the fact I can go and enjoy my time at theses places and come back to our quite hotel to sleep. We stayed in the Bob Marley room and slept with our curtains open as we love looking at the water and the moon night. This room has a private balcony where you can put your clothes to dry which is such a bonus for travellers. Every room is different. But we enjoyed our room very much. We definitely recommend pukka beach. Although the walk down the steep steps from the main road is not fun with the luggage but if you call them they will send someone up to help you bring your luggage down. Access is from the beach. Not from the road. Also, pop district was really cool which was 10 min walk on the beach for more food options, yoga, massage and booking tours at ape tours. If you want to skip taking the tuk tuk to town. I enjoyed staying in that area oppose to going to town for everything.

We booked in here for the last 3 days of our 3 week journey. We loved staying here. We didn't leave the hotel much, except to walk to a local shop for water, and a few other necessities. We laid by the pool all day and ate in the restaurant when we were hungry. One night we wanted something different, and had food delivered to the room. It was so convenient, we loved it. We would absolutely stay here again. the room was super clean and modern, compared to other places we stayed on Palawan. We felt like VIP while we were there. Great WiFi on the whole grounds. The do all the small things there, and as we all know, its the small things that matter most! The only downside is that there is no much within walking distance so if you want to go shopping or to a more touristy part of town, you would need to take a tricycle. But for our stay it was perfect.

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago, for 4 nights and it was truly amazing! Palawan is stunning, and this resort is in the perfect location. The little huts are gorgeous, pool is amazing, and the staff are the best we have ever come by! So helpful and so lovely. The only downside was the wifi, and the dinner menu could have been a little more extensive, but this is being fussy! The wifi was bad in Palawan in general, so it definitely wasn't just Buko! If we go back to Palawan, we are definitely staying at Buko!

I was there on my birthday for two days. Know many hotels in Palawan and want just something special. I felt like in all the good business hotels i stayed for conferences or work. But as a Palawan tourist i felt not in a tropic island, just had the imagination of another town. Pool a bit boring, view to the wall. Price for food and drinks really much higher then other hotels in same class, for this I can stay in Europe. Service and cleanliness perfekt, best trained staff I know in Palawan. View from room, just to something like a construction place or junkyard. TV and WiFi best I ever had in Palawan. This hotel sets the top mark for business hotels here, as a tourist I prefere hotels with more outside and garden facilities. As a business traveller: 10 points, as a tourist: 7.5 points.

I rarely post reviews, but for them I have to. I am very very happy on how the hotel looks exactly as advertised. Excellent rooms, superb cleanliness, and awesome hospitality. When they learned that we went there for my son's birthday, we were surprised by balloons and birthday greetings in our room. Then in the afternoon while my kids are enjoying their pool, the staff, led by their manager Rhoda, brought in cake with candles while singing happy birthday to my son! Having my kid treated so well makes me feel grateful as a father. The frontdesk Lara is so sweet to my kids and really interacts with them everytime she sees them. They would also arrange transport for you in case you will do DIY tours. I don't think I'll stay in another hotel in Palawan except White Breeze onxe we come back.

I had to attend a wedding in Palawan, and the only remaining hotel was Daluyon. I was reading some bad reviews (one rather scathing) and I was wary to book, but had no choice. But, we were PLEASANTLY SUPRISED with Daluyon! When we arrived, they practiced real service — offering us an available room even though it was too early to check in! That was super thoughtful. They thought of their customers and not about sticking to a policy for policy’s sake! The service was superb! All service can speak good english and all are so warm and accomodating! And the food was so much better! (i stayed here 4-6 years ago. That time, i dreaded the food and we ate in a diff resort every meal. This time, we ate at least half of our meals in daluyon. :) Lastly, Daluyon has the best aesthetics. Sheridan is too “hotel like”. Daluyon gives comfort, luxury and one-ness with nature. Not to mention it has the best beach front. Am all raves, but not biased. They have minorpoints to improve on.

My husband's head was accidentally hit in their overhang cement of their second floor stars, when I told the management to put a caution sign and paint it yellow, they take actions immediately, when I request for early check in, they are hospitable to agree with our request and accommodate our booked rooms. The place is is very clean, close to local restaurants, excellent breakfast and the pool is clean. Overall they live up to their name. I will book in this hotel again in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Awesome place.

We stayed at Noa Noa for three nights, and it was the most beautiful place we stayed at, we wish we could've stayed longer. Everything is so well arranged and focused on the guest having a great stay. The island is secluded and is truly beautiful. The coral around the island is so beautiful, the best we've seen in Palawan. The food was amazing, really tasty and more than enough. We booked some massages and a facial, and that was also the best we had in Palawan. The service was perfect, well organised, and all of the staff were amazing. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Please note that about 3.000 PHP has to be paid a person a day for food (well worth it) and the transfer from Taytay to Noanoa is about 3.000 PHP a person one way.

From our arrival to departure, our stay was absolutely wonderful! Every single staff we encountered were courteous, friendly, attentive, responsive, helpful and accommodating. The resort is clean, well maintained, quiet. We enjoyed our pool time with happy hour; the air-conditioned playroom equipped with ping-pong table, board games, crafts, etc. the kids spent hours in there. In-house Amigan Restaurant was very nice. Their menu is adequate for a 2-3 days stay. I couldn't say enough about the amazing staff. You can stay in any beautiful resort and spent lots of money. But Bacau Bay Resort is unique for being so new, the entire staff (including the GM, Chef) is the heart of this resort. If everybody continue to do strive to do and care more then this resort will make a top-rate mark in the industry in Palawan. When we left, we got a very warm send-off like a family member. We will definitely come back again!

My best friend and I were able to book this villa last minute since our flight got delayed and we missed the ferry to our original hotel stay. The transition was as smooth as can be! We got to meet the owner briefly and the were introduced to Cristy & Mar (couple who took care of house guests). Luckily, the other rooms weren’t booked and we had the place all to ourselves. They made us feel very welcome. They live close by and were only a phone call away. Cristy & Mar recommended places to go and were very sweet and hospitable. Kuya Mar was our personal driver and took us to town by tricycle so that was nice. The villa is very clean and spacious. We made sure to use everything there like the basketball court, pool, and few board games there. The following morning Cristy made us breakfast before we had to leave. We were so sad to leave! The next time I come to Palawan, I will be sure to come back here again. Oh, and don’t forget to sign the guest book!!

My partner and I stayed at the Coral Bay Resort for four nights in early March 2012. We decided to go to this resort as we wanted to do some diving on our trip around Palawan, but also enjoy relaxing on an island resort. We planned on only spending part of our stay at this resort diving but it was soo good that we ended up spending the majority of our stay diving. During our stay we completed our Advanced Open Water dive course in addition to some recreational dives. The diving on the wrecks is absolutely amazing and the dive centre is extremely professional. The dive instructor Steve is an extremely good instructor and has a real passion for his job. The resort is picturesque and the rooms are locally built beach huts with small balconies. The rooms are generally very clean. The water is tepid (not hot and not cold) which is generally very pleasant to shower/wash in due to the high temperatures outside. The electricity for the resort is supplied by a generator (which we couldn't hear at all - so it is definitely quiet) and it runs from 6 pm to 6 am. Although there is 24 hour wifi access nearby the main office but the connection speeds are quite slow. The staff are generally very friendly, responsive and helpful. The owners were also very friendly. The food is served in a buffet style for all meals, but is freshly cooked and very good quality (much better than some considerably more expensive resorts that we stayed at). The menu is generally a mixture of Philippine and European dishes and there a good amount of variety each day. This resort provides a fantastic alternative to staying in the cramped, busy and generally not that pleasant town of Coron. Even if you are not into diving the resort also offers other activities such as island hopping, trekking, kayaking and snorkelling. Although if you are even considering trying diving or learning to dive then this is a fantastic place to go with easy access to some world class wreck dive sites.

Located near below the lofty limestone cliffs, The Only Place Inn is one of the best place we have stayed in at El Nido, and we have stayed in several places around EN during our more than a dozen visits. The owners are caring, the unit we had is the Family detached with own kitchen (a novelty in EN), with sala, 32" TV, clean bathroom, separate bedroom with really comfortable beds, cold working AC. They have generator during the 1 hour electric downtime townwide. The unit is big enough for 7 persons. Ministores just beside the unit, water station, travel agencies, the seaside is stone throw away. Transport aplenty. The public market offers affordable fresh seafood to cook at the kitchen, great facility since EN does not have much option for food trippers. We feasted on fresh seafood that we cooked during our whole 3 nights stay at this place. The owner is very courteous and very honest. We left a purse with credit card, debit card, cash and IDs and they sent it to us to Puerto Princesa on the same day before our flight. We were impressed! Highly recommended. Thank you so much The Only Place - El Nido for a perfect vacation!

Our stay at the Crystal Paradise Resort was without a doubt, a truly satisfying and almost magical experience. The staff here is remarkable -- either anticipating your every need or quickly tending to it with grace and charm. As you arrive, you are greeted with a warm welcome and a smile as a lei, or garland of yellow flowers is draped around your neck. Then you are escorted into the pavilion and served “Buko” -- a large, freshly-picked coconut filled with coconut water that you drink from a straw. The beach-front Executive Suites are quite elegant, with solid wood and rattan furniture on white-tiled floors. The most surprising feature was the canopy bed with the view through sliding glass doors to your very own private, infinity pool within 10 feet of your private section of beach. Beautiful, swaying palm trees frame an aqua-blue sea, as you sit on a lawn chair sipping your favorite beverage. The warmth of the sun and the sound of the pounding surf just a few feet away is guaranteed to calm even the most pent-up traveler. Pure heaven! Dinner is served in a huge gazebo-like structure with an astounding view of a tropical paradise surrounding you with the ocean just beyond. The menu is well thought-out, presenting a wide assortment of delectable choices… all quite reasonably-priced. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. If a spa treatment is on your “must-do” list, then you are sure to enjoy the services here. Only natural ingredients are used. Other activities may include kayaking, fishing, island-hopping, or even a trip to a turtle or bird sanctuary. You can ask the friendly folks at the resort to take you to Estrella River Falls (it’s not uncommon to spot a wild monkey or two). The staff will prepare a picnic lunch served to you by the river once you’re done exploring or swimming! At the end of it all, you will surely walk away knowing that you’ve been pampered and spoiled. This is perhaps Palawan’s best kept secret!

service was good but the surroundings were dirty with lots of fallen leaves not swept. We expected a lot of turtles to be seen around but only saw 1. Arena is a private island were it is ideal for couples or who just simply wanted to be away from the city. There are no facilities like wi-fi and electricity was just from 6pm to 6am. The food is good but limited. there is no store to buy goods or souvenirs. it's just a private island where you can relax, swim and enjoy the breeze.

This is our second visit at secret paradise resort As this place was a great place for our vacation in palawan philippines. This place made our holiday fantastic. The very first day, travelling to the resort via port barton road was fun using a 4x4 provided by the resort if you book your transfer with them as before we go through sabang by boat, the boat ride through the port barton islands was amazing. Step on a white soft sandy beach of the resort, the staff welcomes you with a refreshing drinks and gives you information of the resort amenities and activities. Our cottage was lovely and clean native style cottage but with comportable bed with aircon toilet was clean and modern with hot shower 24hrs oh the power runs 5.30pm till 7:00 in the morning so you enjoy the aircon or breeze of ceiling fan. Sitting down in your balcony beachfront and watch the sunset go down or just watched the the shining stars at night. Food in the restaurant was tasty and good and you have a lot of choice in their menu or in the special set meal they have everyday fresh seafood brought by the fisherman. I love snorkelling here as i have seen lots of fish and turtles and beautiful color corals which grown more from last year i have been here mostly the turtles they have a lot now. Island hopping organized to the resort was great whole day in the islands they prepared your food and drinks so you just have to sit and relax or go snorkelling! I highly recommend this place as there are too many things to do activities, kayaking, snorkelling, island hopping or hiking to the viewpoint which overlook the turtlebay and other islands of port barton. We will be back again to this place Thanks for making our stay at your resort like a 5 star!
