"Super friendly staff, well stocked bar, excellent breakfast in a lovely property. Bed and pillows were very comfortable in the spacious room. Location is not optimal, as the neighborhood seems a little rough. The exercise room is top notch with modern equipment. Pool and spa are semi-private and inviting. Highly recommended for your wine country stay."

"Rooms were clean, beds are comfy. We picked to stay her at Paso Robles Inn because of the closeness to downtown. The restaurant breakfast was good and service was great. We were locked out of our room for whatever reason, I almost slipped and fell in the tub due to no plastic mat for the tub. You could hear your neighbors talking in their room next door. I guess that is to be expected. On the whole, it was pleasant and it was an ok stay. But again not worth the money. Sorry."

"Whenever we go to Paso Robles we always stay here. It's convenient, clean and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast food is not desirable. The hard boiled eggs are so hard they're more like rubber balls. Not many choices for gluten-free people. I've asked if the scrambled eggs are just eggs or is it a mix and no one has spoken enough English to answer me."

"I found the Black Oak Best Western to be a great value. It was a reasonable cost in a great location with nice amenities. The room was very clean, and there were plenty of nice, fluffy towels. A very comfortable bed with nice bedding. The pool area was really nice and while I didn't use it, I saw several people enjoying a swim on some very warm days. There was free coffee in the morning, along with a $5 off coupon for the coffee shop on location. I will say the one morning I went, the food had no taste at all. There are several fast food places to eat just next door. "
