"This is a nice, contemporary and clean hotel. It's only a few minutes drive from the attractions in Santa Cruz. Plenty of free parking, though on the weekend we had to park a bit further away. My only complaint is that there's a designated smoker's area right next to the pool that is also the only apparent walkway between the upper-floor parking lot and the entrance. So if you want to use the upper floor parking, you have to hold your breath and move quickly. Alternately you can park in the lower parking lot and go through the main entrance, it's just a longer walk to the room."
