"When I checked in, the front desk was a mess and the receptionist was helpful but not so kind. She had a “I’ll help you because I have to” attitude. When I checked in, my room was 421, on the third floor. I was very confused about the number layout and normally 400 would mean the fourth floor. I headed up to my room using the side doors that had card key locks on them but the doors were always open anyway. The paint of the interior was a shade of booger green, I felt like I was in a ghost hotel. When I entered my room, the bed looked decent and was comfortable but everything in the room was cheap. Thick tv, AC unit that turns off a lot, tiny microwave, a fridge that wasn’t plugged in, tiny plastic built chair, and the lights were strictly motion activated in the entrance of the room and in the bathroom. The paint was falling apart, showing evidence of a previous leak from the floor above. I also couldn’t walk around my room without hearing a creaking sound. Also the peep hole in the door is massive, it looks like a drill hole and someone stuck a piece of glass over it. I went to shower and had a moment where a giant fly started buzzing around out of nowhere and in 3 minutes the lights shut off while I was in the shower because the shower is out of the motion sensor’s range. I couldn’t use the tv because it was a Sharp TV and the remote was for a Zenith and they didn’t work together. You do get an out of date yellow pages under the phone but they will charge you for using it. Also if you break any of their rules no matter how small it is, you will be hit with a $200 charge. For paying $68 on New Years for this room, I felt like I’ve been ripped off due to how cheap everything was, how busted the room was, how nasty the hotel looks, zero security, and their many efforts to save money. This place makes Motel 6 look like a luxury hotel."

"The hotel itself was clean, friendly, comfortable, and had all one could ask for a one night layover. Staff was very nice, even going the extra mile to call me later on in the day I checked out to inform me of a forgotten item in case I needed to return for it. My only knock on the hotel would be that the location was in a desolate area. Now it is honestly 30 seconds from the highway, so that is ideal, but there was nothing around minus two gas stations and a Denny’s. Maybe more places were on the other side of the highway or further down the road. That being my only knit picky negative, I would recommend the hotel if looking for a comfortable night stay while on the road. Based on my experience, you will not regret staying here."

"Hot as hell in their rooms the air, no cooler than the outside air barely trickles out of a very dirty air duct thing in the ceiling and you can barely feel a thing. Uggggg..... I could not leave this place fast enuf. There’s also a lot of dirty people and homeless people hanging around and up to no good. Funky cars with loud music coming thru all hours of night and doors that barely shut much less lock. Reluctantly, just to breathe, we had to sleep with our window open which was scary because of the people hanging around outside. But our window wouldn’t close all the way or lock anyways so wasn’t really much of a choice. I totally hated this place Which is not even much cheaper than some of the much nicer places in town. The showers are tiny, crappy and low water pressure. They give you only a tiny, bar of soap, couple tiny towel..no shampoo etc, Dirty sheets, beds are hard and most uncomfortable, roaches come out at night & no fridge or micro!! I will NEVER stay here again!"

"We checked in at 2 and they said none of the rooms where ready and they would call us when ready so we left and Mercer got a call and returned 1.5 hours later and receptionist said they where so busy they forgot to call us. They where not busy since no one was in lobby and only about 10 cars outside. We checked in and when I went back to ask for extra pillow she had no idea where to get me one from and looked around and found one in office and gave it to me and tried putting pillow case on it right on the front desk which I thought was unprofessional and seemed like I was checking into a cheap motel. Will not return here especially being a Hilton honors member "
