Italy hotels & accommodations
Our stay was great. We were given a room on the 6th floor with a balcony view. After having stayed in some other hotels in Italy, this was quite a pleasant experience. The room is quite spacious and this was the first hotel among the 3 in Italy that had coffee available in the room as well as a kettle! 2 nespresso capsules are complimentary on the first night as well a...
The majority of reviews on Agoda say that for a quick stay, this is the go-to hotel which provides a comfortable stay/service/access to get around town. My mother and I dreaded the almost unanimous "small bathroom" comment, but decided to forgo the fact and ended up booking our stay there anyway. Arriving in Milan, we immediately got into a taxi and asked to be taken t...
We never stayed in mandarin oriental Milan so we keep it out of selection. This property is only behind four Seasons Hotel and far better than bvlgari hotel( which offer best sweet tea in lobby ). Room is very clean but still too many dusts in air. Maybe carpet need wash instead vacuum due frequently use. Bar are full of complimentary drink and it helps. Shower is la...
We were a couple that stayed here 4 nights in October. The location was perfect. All major attractions are within walking distance and only a 10 minute walk to the Termini. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They gave great advice on restaurants and directions around the city. They lent us a phone charger since ours from the US was not compatible. The ro...
The staff was friendly and polite. Room was fantastic. Location awesome. 5min away from the train station. Breakfast has a good variety. One of the better hotel in Italy. We enjoyed our stay there.
Was very impressed with C-Hotels Ambasciatori, we got a really great deal and I wasn't expecting the hotel to be as fantastic as it was for the cheap price we got, the location was perfect just a 10 min walk into the heart of Florence and there was also a parking garage directly under the hotel which was perfect for us as we were doing an Italy road trip, the price for...
Great location close to termini station which locates the metro and trains connects to other parts of Italy, City buses also stops near the hotel, easy to travel around rome. Rooms are clean and spacious, Every staff here is friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided is another highlight, its provided FREE, and yet the quality is much better then expected.
Very impressed the UNA GM and the staff for their birthday greetings to my husband in the room when we got back after a long day out. We had a good stay in UNA hotel and we love the location close to Roma Termini station. However, one thing we would suggest hotel to consider changing the shower door as water flashed out everywhere when we took shower. Overall, we enj...
It’s closed to both San Marco square and Rialto bridge; room is spacious (compared with Venice and overall Italy hotel room size), clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast has enough variety to choose. I’ll definitely recommend it!
located only 5 min walk from the termini(main train station in rome)which is quite convenient when leaving from rome to other cities. staying in the termini area will save you quite some money for taxi or bus fare. room is nice and clean, although like all hotels i stayed in italy, all smelled like maldew. i guess it has something to do with their weather. for the p...
The hotel may not be located in the greatest part of the city but it is a very central location with the the train station to the airport across the road from the hotel. I had booked a junior suite for my stay which was satisfactory, although the floor was neither carpet nor wooden flooring but a strange black plastic material which was the softest thing I had ever wa...
I got the best service from the staff and the hotel is super nice and so convenient.
My husband and I stayed 8 nights at the Rome Times Hotel. I searched endlessly online to find a hotel in our budget that was a short walk from many iconic Rome locations and museums, and had a breakfast option. The modern look and feel was also important to me. I was pleasantly surprised to find our room had a king bed and rain shower in the bathroom. I've stayed i...
Fantastic location within 10/15min walk to Trevi fountain, Coliseum or Venezia. Also close to a few good restaurants. Hotel is well decorated and clean, modern but classy. It truely lives up to its name! Room is big for central Rome standard. Nice personalized welcome gift too. Staff always willing to help. Love the fact I can control the in-room temperature too, which...
We began and ended our tour of Italy at this hotel. When we returned we were welcomed back as cherished guests. The staff at this hotel rushed to take our luggage and gave us a tour of the hotel and our room upon arrival. They were so incredibly friendly with directions and recommendations for local food and attractions. The rooms were spacious and clean with beautiful...
We were happy with our choice of hotel, it ticked many boxes with only some very minor cons. We would be happy to stay here again! Pros: - very friendly and professional staff who gave us a warm welcome, from the reception, bell boy to bar staff as well. - we were happy to receive 2 complimentary drinks at the bar for our honeymoon. - comfortable bed and pillows. ...
We are on the way back to Singapore from Venice. Our last night in Rome. The room is large and comfortable. We can buy food from the supermarket and warm them up at the Terrace on the 2nd Floor. There is ample juices in the refrigerator. Many restaurants around the place. Only 10 minutes walking distance to the Roma Termini. Then the express train to the airport. Reall...
Hotel Veneto was by far my most 3 comfortable nights stay in Florence . The only sad side, having to walk about 5-7mins from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station (Florence railway station.) With it crackly tiny road, pulling my heavy luggage to this hotel was a real killing moment. But upon arriving to my room, from the tired face becomes happy face. The h...
Great location 3 blocks from train station/Metro station. Many sidewalk/inside restaurants in the area as well as a store down block for snacks and wine. Hotel breakfast for 14e is not worth it. Don’t count on English TV stations. Take corkscrew & wash cloths (not provided in Europe) and power converter as hotel doesn’t have any to lend. I’d also take extra Splenda & u...
Good breakfast options and good recommendations for dinner. Best dinner we had while in Italy. They made our reservations also. Would definitely stay at Hotel Bisanzio again. They can also arrange for a private tour to Murano cheaper than Viator/GetYourGuide, etc. AND get you a viewing/demonstration of the glass blowing. The owner of the hotel had his collection ...
Spent three nights here over Valentine's and both agreed the hotel was located in the nicest part of Rome. All the well known places of interest were within comfortable walking distance and we had our best meals only hundreds of yards from the hotel. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful and our trip would definitely not have been as enjoyable withou...
Everyone says that service is slow in Italy. At Majestic the service was amazing. Much better than what we have seen in the states. On top of the great location, and a wonderful hotel.
Hotel Diana Roma Rooftop Garden is THE BEST hotel, ever. When I first arrived in Rome, this is the first hotel which I stayed in, for 4 nights. I wanted to extend my stay here, but they were fully-booked so I had to leave. The views from the rooftop garden of this hotel are simply breathtaking. And that makes up for the not-so-impressive views from some of the bedroo...
First time here in Italy. When I came across this hotel, I thought good price and the pictures made the hotel look very trendy, clean and a trendy place to be. It didn’t disappoint. Very clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, hip & trendy. A complimentary breakfast was spot on!! I even tried their laundry services, that you pay for. I though...
My wife, my 9 month old son and I were traveling from Lake Como back to NYC with a pit stop in Milan on the way home. My business partner recommended this hotel and we booked the Family Room. My goodness it was the best hotel we have stayed in, in quite a long time so I would easily recommend it to anyone who stays in Milan. The room was huge, the staff was incredib...
I’ve travelled to Italy before and found the star rating system never really applied but Hotel Artemide was very much a surprise. The beds were super comfortable, bathroom the biggest I’ve seen in Italy. The WiFi was probably the best I’ve had in a hotel anywhere. Staff were super friendly and the location is fantastic. Very close to a metro that gets you to the main s...
Spacious clean room and nice bathroom. The massage bed is not strong but your body will appreciates it after a long day. A plus point for this hotel. Service and facilities are great too. We love the breakfast choices; the best for our trip. Lots of varieties compare to other hotels in Italy.
Very nice apartment design, clean and location close to termini. Best hotel we stayed in Italy. Huge space w 3 rooms 2 bathrooms.
From the hotel to the train station/main water bus stop is about a 10-minute walk and there's also a water bus stop (Tre Archi) right outside of the hotel. It is away from the busy area but at the same time only a few minutes from the street with supermarkets. There's also a street where local people go eat close by, about two water bus stations (OrtO) from the Tre Arc...
Cheap places to stay in Italy
This was a very misleading hotel name. There was a decent bed, but no thought of breakfast included, and when I questioned the proprietor, he just shrugged his shoulders. The positive here was that they stayed up until 12:30am to recieve us. The downside was the very dicey neighborhood, there was no bathroom in one of the rooms, and no running water in the other room. ...
They were really nice at sant Lorenzo guest house . The guy on charge helped me all the time even before I arrive to Rome. He gave me all the indications to get to the hostel and he was really nice! We got sangria for free at night and breakfast :) we were listen to music and partying with other people and I got a great time . Rooms were clean and bathroom as well! Cl...
We stayed with our one year old daughter in a private double bed room (not the one shown in the picture). Small room but quite comfortable for our short stay. Within easy walking distance to Roma Termini and all other attractions in Rome. Mr Walter is a very helpful man. We would recommend this guesthouse for anyone who has a budget and looks for value of money for a s...
Probably the best place to stay if you’re on a budget. For me the whole hostel could need a little bit more attention, especially the outside area and the common room, as it could look a lot more cozy but then again some people prefer that kind of environment. The rooms are very basic - I was in a mixed dorm and there were 4 bunk beds, and that’s it. Beds do shake and ...
The room floor not swept/mop properly. Still dusty, the chair and beds were ricketly. We're afraid they will broken when we use them. The location was not easy to find and no elevator to go to hotel reception (on 3rd floor).
Finding the building was near impossible. We were unable to call the number the hotel had listed as their contact number. We kept getting "the number you have called has not responded". Luckily, we came at a time where someone was cleaning up the rooms, and they let us in. The person cleaning then escorted us a few blocks away to another "office". We then were ask...
They also asked for extra 3.5 Euros/ night they said it is city tax which was not indicated at the time I booked.
We booked in the hotel (not hostel). Only 20 minutes bus ride to Venice Sta Lucia. Bus ride comes with the 24-, 48-, 72- hour boat pass. Hotel sells the boat/bus pass and it accepts credit card, which is very convenient as many hotels in Italy accept only cash for tourist/ occupancy tax. Has very large lounge where you can wait for your train or bus to another city. ...
week end settembre
I booked Andavenice a month out from my first solo trip to Venice Italy. I had booked another hostel when I noticed Andavenice had recently opened. It was half the price if my original choice do I decided to give it a go. Boy did I make the right choice! I stayed for a full week in the women's six bed dorm. It was spacious, clean, modern, and air conditioned. The...
the hotel is at the fourth floor without lift so it is a bit difficult for someone carrier a big baggage to climb all the way up stairs, good location in a bright alley, feel really safe during my stay in this hotel, the hotel is clean, the staffs are so nice to introduce the city at the beginning during the check in, this hotel is also worth with the price.
A little bit out of town but close to the metro which is very easy to navigate. Sergio was great, treated me like part of the family! Would stay again.
I have been in many places, this hotel is best so far, staff and cleanliness. you really will forget some angry Italians which you met during the day and your see beautiful Itlaians (staff) when you get back to the hotel. I recommend as 5 stars hotel, I don't care about TV or somebody open the door for you and another one close it. Love and I will recomened it always. ...
Hostel Mancini is a good choice for people with little budget and heavy luggage, since it is pretty close to Napoli Centrale, but it's on the 2nd floor so you'd better not focus on your feet all the time. The district is not particularly dangerous, because it is in Napoli! It just looks the same dangerous compared with other cities in Italy. The hostel owner is a nice...
perfect, from the beginning until the end! just so you know, we basically did not go to venice island just to stay in Jolly camp in town! we are also planning to go back to italy, just to stay there more days! Its everything so clean, beautiful and comfortable! Lovely place!!!!
The location is excellent, just 10 mins walk from the main train station. All the staffs are very nice and the common room is very good, with a garden.
The room was quite big and clean. The host was very helpful. It was close to the train/bus station and supermarket. Agoda messed up the booking by just booking a double bed for 2 adults and 2 kids but the host offered us a triple room. He also let us keep our luggage for the whole day after check out. There were two bathrooms among 4 rooms but it was always available ...
Very good price for three adults in one room. Good stop if you drive from siena or San gimignano to Firenze if you are a budget Traveller. We stay in room 13, there is bad bug on blanket/ bed. Beware of that! There is no heater for semi cold night as well. They only open in November onwards. It disturbs the sleep. WiFi is in only common area which we do not bother. I g...
The people they received were wonderful. Very friendly and welcoming. They allowed me to cook at night and lent me a hair dryer. I felt very cold at night because there is no heater in the room. I also had a hard time getting to and from the hotel because I don't have a car, it's 10 km away from the city and the bus didn't pass the road while I waited. In conclusion, i...
The location is the best, just 2 ferry stops to St Marco. Great view. The bed is comfy and clean with individual socket and lamp (though a bit dim). Storage space is nice if u prepare a lock like every other traveler. The common area is of friendly design and setting. Staff is all friendly and extremely helpful. The only weakness is no kitchen and there is one sink in ...
In the very heart of Meran/Merano, under the arches of via Portici, an inconspicuous elevator take you to City Apartments Portico. It did take some finding, but we were rewarded with welcoming hosts, a clean room with kitchen facilities (and fresh coffee), a simple bathroom and comfortable bed. If you are coming to Meran for the first time, it would be difficult to fi...
不用十分鐘便可步行到火車站 去市中心都是十分鐘路程 方便的 廚房用具不太充足,建議不煮食為佳。 只有兩個廁所,但算清潔。 Less than 10mins to the Train station, easy to go to the city centre actually. Location is good. Only 2 washroom shared and the kitchen is lack of cooking utensils. Helpful staff which I need to say a big thank you. Thank you so much.
As the stuffs are always in the reception desk, I could talk about stay, sights and more. Facilities are enough and useful especially bathroom. It has a big common space, so I stayed very satisfied.
far from the station, but you could have time very comfortably. This hotel might be chosen.
Nothing wrong the only bothering me when walking upstairs little bit scary no light. Near the beach walking distance. Staff is friendly.
Breakfast was ok- one could expect more, rooms ok, my bed was a bit loud, showers very simple (no possibility of changing watertemperature-it's always warm) very few electric plugs in the room (that was really bad) possibility of buying padlock (2euros) for the locker outside in the hallway between bedroom and bathroom.
The hostel is very centrally located. It has amazing view of Mount Etna from the rooftop terrace. The female dorm room is spacious and clean and has curtain for each bed for privacy. Lockers available in the room. The staff was very helpful, friendly and are nice people. The breakfast was amazing. The kitchen is well equipped. The female toilet and bathroom was aver...
Posto carino, stanza enorme, bella accoglienza, a piedi per il centro. Consigliato
Value for money, the Chinese male staff is very helpful during our stay. graciez! With the price it offers among other hostels or 1 star hotels, this is beyond our expectation, much better than the review we read before about this hostel.

This hotel is amazing. The details through the hotel are spot on. The photos do not do the hotel justice, it is better. The room had everything, nothing out of place, nothing even slightly wrong. Just come back from a long weekend stay in Milan. Hotel in a good location not far from the Duomo, shops and restaurants. Staff have been great from booking to arrival and then also during our stay. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and spacious. Would definitely book again.
This hotel was the best thing that happned to us. First, service provided was amazing! Ludovica at the reception desk provided us with the best, five star welcome, check in and concierge information. I would note that she is amazing in her job and hotel should reward her for that. Another two receptionist were exceptional. Stephano and can't remember the other guy's na...
Our family visited Uptown Palace Hotel in Milan, Italy. We had a great experience! Our family of four stayed in a beautiful executive suite that had a view of the gorgeous Duomo Cathedral. Despite the construction cranes hard at work, we had a very beautiful view of the city in our corner position on the 11th floor of the hotel. The front desk staff, quickly expla...
I have been to rome several times and each time I have been disappointed by the upscale boutique hotels I have stayed at (overpriced tiny rooms). I couldn't contain my delight when I arrived at Rome Style Hotel. When i made the booking, the hotel hadn't opened yet so I was simply expected another tiny room in a good location but new. The location is perfect, in a sm...
The Best Western Hotel Bologna near Venice, Italy, is a very good hotel just outside of Venice. It is a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport at a set cost of 35 Euros. The bathroom is big with a small walk in shower and a good deep bath a...
Wow :-)!!! Our last night in Italy, I really should have extended my stay at the Yard ! Worldwide Best Western Hotels are fantastic value for money. This hotel - large double room with king-size bed. Rome is the first place we start visiting Italy , this hotel brings us a good start. Feel very safe, clean , quiet while at the center of the city . I was on my honeymoon with my wife. We went to several cities in Greece and Italy, and this was no doubt the best hotel we stayed in Europe. Agoda rocks first at all, I have to move the reservation day as I have made a mistake and they help me move it with no charge for the day I needed! n arrival they didn't have this update but gave us a room and ask us to get a copy of the change. This is the best hotel I ever had ! If you like to stay in a beautiful luxury hotel I'm highly recommend this hotel. Jolly President is extremely conveniently located, near the major shopping area of Milan (less than 5 minutes walk) and close to Duomo and Galleria. The staff are friendly and helpful. Alfonso waited 3 hours for us to arrive as we were late. He provided the best service humanly possible! Just make sure you show up on the time you planned! Could not have asked for a better experience and will be returning soon!!
We chose the Excelsior on Lido because it's beach/pool with the easy option to go into Venice....so it's the best of both worlds. The complimentary boat to/from is a real tangible benefit that adds value to the price. The manager, Giorgia, was so helpful to us. She has a great understanding of hospitality and was incredibly professional and kind.
Just returned from our 4 night stay. It was one of the best places i have ever stayed at. Location is amazing, walking distance to all that Rome has to offer. Free parking which helped us as we had a car. Great breakfast with plenty of fresh and yummy options. The room was so big and specious, set out in traditional Italian style and super clean. But the best thing abo...
Lovely Hotel....we had a problem with the AC not working properly in our room. Staying one night but leaving for the airport early morning. Needed a good nights sleep as we were traveling back to the US after 2 weeks in Italy The hotel was immensely apologetic & since they were full that evening the only room left was a beautiful suite on the 3rd floor. Hated to go to ...
Got to Agoda through TripAdvisor. Seemed like an unusual name but was rated really well so we gave it a shot. Down a rather unlikely alley but nice front entrance. They sit you down in a small office to check in and bring you a glass of proseco. Nice. Lots of interesting and quirky art. We had a standard premium room which was nice albeit rather small. Fabulous looking...
I travel extensively & have to say I have a preference for Relais Chateau properties. This hotel is very well positioned & one of the best locations in Rome. Great hotel and location is spot on for first timers. Doorman was very helpful everyday with best places to go. Breakfast plentiful. Originally put in wrong room but upgraded to better suite once realised. Would stay again.
Best location friendly and helpful staff
Amazing property, staff, food, wine. A fantastic hotel experience. I would suggest not leaving the property, it's too enjoyable and the perfect place to relax. Indoor and outdoor pools, both with amazing views. A spa with a good massage therapist (only one therapist so book in advance). Great wine, food, service, a gym, bike rentals.... Very clean and big rooms, wit...
Wonderful, clean & big hotel room. Location was splendid! We were not able to locate the door of the hotel (Lobby located on 5th level). Signs were not enough to indicate. But once we locate the hotel, we were warmly received by the hotel staff. Our room (suite) has a balcony & overlook the Duomo Milan. Love the hassle free pin code in replacement of keys! Bath...
I booked through the Agoda app and stayed in the junior suite for 3 nights in October 2018. I simply loved everything. Everything is perfect. Room was clean. Breakfast is very nice. Concierge is excellent. And the location is the best. It’s near Duomo in just 1 min walking;)
The service was immaculate from the moment we arrived, the room was a little smaller then we had anticipated but was beautiful and had everything we needed. There are lovely touches which do make it feel 5* rather than so many other 5 star hotels which are more like 4*, including the turn down service and the incredible bar. Definitely make an effort to have a drink ...
Very nice spacious and clean room. We used this hotel as the base of our trip through Italy/Europe. Breakfast was very good. Best out of the hotels we stay on our trip. Staff were very helpful. Location is only good if you don't mind staying in a trendy area out of the main centre close with all the attractions. We caught the subway easily. Interesting mix of tourists...
Lovely little boutique hotel in excellent location 10 minutes walk to the Duomo, lots of restaurants nearby. Please note a new underground line is being built in the vicinity so that in the future there will be a stop outside the hotel and the line goes to Linate Airport. Our room was lovely, spacious, balcony, excellent bed, pillow and linen. However, some room are r...
This is a good hotel under HIlton Group. We had a great night in venice and all the services from this hotel is great. The only not perfect thing is you cant get wifi to online in the room. We must come down the lobby to connect to the Wifi. For the breakfast, you will have the english style breakfast and the food taste good. You must try the dinner in the italy restau...
The hotel was superb! It was nicely situated along the river. It was about a 20 minute walk to the ponte vecchio but it was such a lovely walk and there were great open parks and gatherings along the way. We were actually glad that it was a little bit away from everything or we would have missed out on seeing such a lively part of the city! The hotel and its staff wer...
Beautiful hotel on the street with the poshest hotels in the city. The area around the bar is stunning! Probably one of the best properties in Rome. 5 minutes walk from the Spanish steps. Large rooms with equally large washrooms. (not European standard to my relief!) Our room had a balcony as well. Reception staff is curt, concierge team is very sweet (not amazing w...
The luxury is felt everywhere in this hotel (except for the bathroom amenities, which could have been up-scaled, and the quality/variety of coffee options for the in-room coffee machine). Breakfast was the best I ever had, and even the room-service food was extremely good. Room was perfectly dark, with no light entering in the morning, and also perfectly quiet, with no...
Stayed in Italy for a week at 4 different hotels, and this one was the worst despite being the most expensive one (64,456 JPY for 2 nights, the other hotels were around 35,000~60,000 JPY). The room was dated, the bathroom was really dark and small, and we needed to flush the toilet several times for the toilet paper to go in. It was supposed to be double bed but it ...
My father insisted we stay here having had done so himself when his father took him to Venice. He assured me that I would be remissed if I didn't. The Danieli is without a doubt the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. My jaw dropped walking into the lobby. The ceiling and the sky light instantly made me a snap happy tourist. I had to take in all the details and...
