Our stay was great. We were given a room on the 6th floor with a balcony view. After having stayed in some other hotels in Italy, this was quite a pleasant experience. The room is quite spacious and this was the first hotel among the 3 in Italy that had coffee available in the room as well as a kettle! 2 nespresso capsules are complimentary on the first night as well as the free minibar (excluding alcohol). The breakfast is usual across many hotels (eggs, sausage/bacon, croissants, etc). You have to make your own coffee and tea as opposed to ordering one from staff. I would recommend this hotel to travelers if you want to be close to public transport. It is less than a 5 minute walk to termini station.

The majority of reviews on Agoda say that for a quick stay, this is the go-to hotel which provides a comfortable stay/service/access to get around town. My mother and I dreaded the almost unanimous "small bathroom" comment, but decided to forgo the fact and ended up booking our stay there anyway. Arriving in Milan, we immediately got into a taxi and asked to be taken to Hotel Galles (most taxi drivers know exactly where it is). Once we got to the hotel we were welcomed by friendly and efficient receptionists who have great command of English. I didn't have any problem understanding them and they spoke very clearly to us. We were then taken to our room. So, the bathroom thing is true: it is very small even by Asian standards. We were able to squeeze ourselves just fine and went about our business easily, but we would have loved it more if the bathroom was a little bit bigger. It is worth saying that when I was confused about which train to take to get from Milan to Paris, the hotel staff helpfully printed out a list of train schedules for me to choose from (and highlighted the most efficient routes). Anyhoo, in our experience, the hotel could use a few improvements, but we had a great time and would definitely return. Although, yes, Hotel Galles is probably best for a short / weekend getaway type of stay. Oh, don't forget there are a few bookstores and music stores down the road from the hotel on Corso Buenos Aires -- they have great selection of English books and Italian music/movies! And for Asians looking for a taste from "home", there's a great Korean restaurant on the corner of Corso Buenos Aires about a block from the hotel -- at the intersection where Zara is situated, with the hotel to your right, turn left. A few doors from there you'll find a great Korean BBQ dig which serves amazing Korean food! Anyway, good stuff! Godetevi il vostro soggiorno!

We were a couple that stayed here 4 nights in October. The location was perfect. All major attractions are within walking distance and only a 10 minute walk to the Termini. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They gave great advice on restaurants and directions around the city. They lent us a phone charger since ours from the US was not compatible. The room was very modern and very comfortable. The stocked mini fridge is no additional cost. The breakfast was great. A great mix of hot and cold with hot espresso served. The best by far of all of the hotels we stayed at throughout out Italy trip. We will definitely stay here again. 5 Star Hotel all the way.

Was very impressed with C-Hotels Ambasciatori, we got a really great deal and I wasn't expecting the hotel to be as fantastic as it was for the cheap price we got, the location was perfect just a 10 min walk into the heart of Florence and there was also a parking garage directly under the hotel which was perfect for us as we were doing an Italy road trip, the price for 24H parking was 30 euro. Our room was large and had a big window, everything was very clean and overall we enjoyed our stay, I would book with them again!

Very impressed the UNA GM and the staff for their birthday greetings to my husband in the room when we got back after a long day out. We had a good stay in UNA hotel and we love the location close to Roma Termini station. However, one thing we would suggest hotel to consider changing the shower door as water flashed out everywhere when we took shower. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in UNA and Italy and hope to return soon.

located only 5 min walk from the termini(main train station in rome)which is quite convenient when leaving from rome to other cities. staying in the termini area will save you quite some money for taxi or bus fare. room is nice and clean, although like all hotels i stayed in italy, all smelled like maldew. i guess it has something to do with their weather. for the price i paid, i'd say it's worth every penny of it. service wise, the first guy we met when checking in was not so nice. no smile whatsoever even when all of us smiled at him. maybe his cat die? the rest of staffs are all nice and friendly. so depending on whom you run into, if based on the first guy, i would give no stars at all for service. it's the rest of staffs are wonderful that saved this hotel on the service category.

The hotel may not be located in the greatest part of the city but it is a very central location with the the train station to the airport across the road from the hotel. I had booked a junior suite for my stay which was satisfactory, although the floor was neither carpet nor wooden flooring but a strange black plastic material which was the softest thing I had ever walked on. The room was clean, bathroom and tub were amazing, view not so and neither was the noise at 6am from the restaurants and bars on the neighbouring streets all having their bins collected. Breakfast was also served as a buffet style as I have found in other Radisson hotels but the restaurant in which it is served cannot be matches by their other chains, top floor overlooking the city of Rome with the rooftop pool teasing you to take a dip, its a shame the temperature did not permit but it was great non the less. All of the staff I came across were friendly and polite, from reception to room service and restaurant to housekeeping. All greeted me in Italian and politely smiled as I attempted to also speak in their mother tongue. If you cannot speak Italian like myself then fear not as the vast majority of the staff on site do, however I did always try and speak in Italian but would be given my response in English, I think this again was their polite way of saying my Italian is quite up to par. I had gone to Rome with my girlfriend of 6 years to finally propose and on the second day of being here the occasion must have got to me as I requested a room upgrade from reception. Note online bookings only show the junior suite but their is also a master and the presidential suite. 1 of the 2 presidential suites were available and I duly asked to view the room which to describe is simply amazing. My husband and I stayed 8 nights at the Rome Times Hotel. I searched endlessly online to find a hotel in our budget that was a short walk from many iconic Rome locations and museums, and had a breakfast option. The modern look and feel was also important to me. I was pleasantly surprised to find our room had a king bed and rain shower in the bathroom. I've stayed in other European hotels that were not up to date. Rome Times Hotel staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect- made to order cappuccinos (I take mine with soy milk which was available) and a large buffet of fruit, pastries, meat and cheese, oatmeal, cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, and fresh juices. You always take a chance when booking a hotel in a new city. Having the Rome Times Hotel as our home base every day as we explored Rome really made our first visit to Italy more enjoyable and comfortable.

Fantastic location within 10/15min walk to Trevi fountain, Coliseum or Venezia. Also close to a few good restaurants. Hotel is well decorated and clean, modern but classy. It truely lives up to its name! Room is big for central Rome standard. Nice personalized welcome gift too. Staff always willing to help. Love the fact I can control the in-room temperature too, which is not always the case in Italy. Great view from room too. Pro: location, cleanliness, staff. Con: missing a business center

We began and ended our tour of Italy at this hotel. When we returned we were welcomed back as cherished guests. The staff at this hotel rushed to take our luggage and gave us a tour of the hotel and our room upon arrival. They were so incredibly friendly with directions and recommendations for local food and attractions. The rooms were spacious and clean with beautiful high-quality decorations and the building itself lends such a historic and charming feel. The breakfast and COFFEE were delicious and the location was fantastic for walking to restaurants and shopping. The area felt very safe for a family with young children to explore. The metro is very close but I would definitely recommend a Taxi if traveling from Tremi Station as it is too far to walk with luggage. We will definitely be returning to this hotel upon our next visit to Rome.

We were happy with our choice of hotel, it ticked many boxes with only some very minor cons. We would be happy to stay here again! Pros: - very friendly and professional staff who gave us a warm welcome, from the reception, bell boy to bar staff as well. - we were happy to receive 2 complimentary drinks at the bar for our honeymoon. - comfortable bed and pillows. - we could adjust the temperature of our room! This was a treat seeing as all our other hotels in Italy were set centrally at a standard winter setting. - great location, central to most places of interest in Rome. It is right by Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. We could easily walk everywhere. - we had to leave early on 2 days for tours, way before breakfast was served at the hotel. The staff were very accommodating and gave us a packed breakfast upon request, which we could collect at reception before leaving. - sound proofing of the room towards the Main Street was decent given its location. Could only hear noise from the street if there was a large noisy crowd. - great shower and water was quick to heat up. - nice, clean and spacious room. Cons: - sound proofing of the room towards the hotel corridor however wasn't as good. We could hear loud taking and footsteps from other guests staying on the same floor. - the layout of the bath and toilet facilities was perhaps not very well thought out. The bath/shower and sink were on one side while the toilet on another, so you have to walk to the other side of the room to wash your hands after using the toilet. There were no doors to the bath/shower so I think it would be more suitable for couples. There also weren't many places to hang your clothing, towels at the bath/shower area. The Heated towel rack was on the other side of the room in the toilet.

Great location 3 blocks from train station/Metro station. Many sidewalk/inside restaurants in the area as well as a store down block for snacks and wine. Hotel breakfast for 14e is not worth it. Don’t count on English TV stations. Take corkscrew & wash cloths (not provided in Europe) and power converter as hotel doesn’t have any to lend. I’d also take extra Splenda & umbrella/good shoes (streets in Italy very slippery when wet). Hotel will hold luggage beyond checkout if you need it. We took 600e for a week for misc purchases and tips for housekeepers (don’t forget them). Beautiful hotel, you won’t be disappointed!

Good breakfast options and good recommendations for dinner. Best dinner we had while in Italy. They made our reservations also. Would definitely stay at Hotel Bisanzio again. They can also arrange for a private tour to Murano cheaper than Viator/GetYourGuide, etc. AND get you a viewing/demonstration of the glass blowing. The owner of the hotel had his collection on display in the hotel.

Hotel Diana Roma Rooftop Garden is THE BEST hotel, ever. When I first arrived in Rome, this is the first hotel which I stayed in, for 4 nights. I wanted to extend my stay here, but they were fully-booked so I had to leave. The views from the rooftop garden of this hotel are simply breathtaking. And that makes up for the not-so-impressive views from some of the bedroom windows. Who cares when you can go up to the rooftop and look over Rome, anyway? The flowers on the rooftop garden smell like perfume. The first time I walked up there, I wondered who's expensive perfume was filling up the environment. Then I realized it was the beautiful flowers! There is a viewing "tower" in the garden which you can climb up (a spiral staircase) and look over the rooftops of Rome! It's beautiful! Belissima! The staff of this hotel has become like my family, really. If you strike up a conversation with any of the staff working on the rooftop garden, you will quickly find a new family member! I love all the staff at Hotel Diana Roma so much, that I honestly missed everyone, when I left! And that's why I wanted to extend, in the first place! For my last days in Italy, I came back to Rome and stayed here again. I got to say goodbye to everyone, and I'm so happy that I did! The rooms are of excellent standard, and you can connect your laptop to the cable wire of the t.v. and you can use their internet connection from there, or if you don't have a laptop, you can use your t.v. to connect to the internet. Flat-screen t.v. You can figure out how to do everything by taking a look at the remote control. The buffet breakfast is a real treat, and all throughout the day you can order food and wine that you like. At nighttime, seagulls float over the rooftop garden like white paper planes with bells attached to them. It's beautiful. A beautiful experience. 100%.

First time here in Italy. When I came across this hotel, I thought good price and the pictures made the hotel look very trendy, clean and a trendy place to be. It didn’t disappoint. Very clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, hip & trendy. A complimentary breakfast was spot on!! I even tried their laundry services, that you pay for. I thought it was a bit pricey but it’s a service, so I get it. I also took advantage of the free luggage storage(free) while we toured the town, after we had checked out. Definitely would stay here again, thank you.

I’ve travelled to Italy before and found the star rating system never really applied but Hotel Artemide was very much a surprise. The beds were super comfortable, bathroom the biggest I’ve seen in Italy. The WiFi was probably the best I’ve had in a hotel anywhere. Staff were super friendly and the location is fantastic. Very close to a metro that gets you to the main sites and the termini is a 10 minute walk.

From the hotel to the train station/main water bus stop is about a 10-minute walk and there's also a water bus stop (Tre Archi) right outside of the hotel. It is away from the busy area but at the same time only a few minutes from the street with supermarkets. There's also a street where local people go eat close by, about two water bus stations (OrtO) from the Tre Archi station. The room is spacious and clean. The tub is very clean and no mold underneath the edge of the tub like another well-known 4-star hotel in Florence that I stayed at. Staffs are helpful. Breakfast is the best compared to the other two hotels I stayed at during my two weeks trip in Italy.

This hotel is amazing. The details through the hotel are spot on. The photos do not do the hotel justice, it is better. The room had everything, nothing out of place, nothing even slightly wrong. From the moment you walk in you are always greeted with friendly helpful staff at reception, around the hotel and in the dinning room. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is easy walking to most of the sights and has a great vaparetto stop around the corner. Quiet location but has dining options near by. Noise outside window was never a problem. Breakfast is out of this world incredible. There is something for everyone and lots for most. I can not say enough about this hotel. If it is in your budget book it now, and if not find a way you will not regret it. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF you made our time in Venice the best it could ever be.

This hotel was the best thing that happned to us. First, service provided was amazing! Ludovica at the reception desk provided us with the best, five star welcome, check in and concierge information. I would note that she is amazing in her job and hotel should reward her for that. Another two receptionist were exceptional. Stephano and can't remember the other guy's name Gian-Luca at the restaurant is exceptional as well restaurant lady, Lordes. Hotel is older, renovated, extremely well kept, excellent location right on Metro station, five minute walk from beautiful park, 15 minute walk to Duomo, you can also rent a bike, Milano is very biking friendly city. There is a super market half block away and some shopping around, H&M, Guess, cafes.. Nice area. All in all, amazing prperty, and Ludivica was THE BEST of the best!! Our family visited Uptown Palace Hotel in Milan, Italy. We had a great experience! Our family of four stayed in a beautiful executive suite that had a view of the gorgeous Duomo Cathedral. Despite the construction cranes hard at work, we had a very beautiful view of the city in our corner position on the 11th floor of the hotel. The front desk staff, quickly explained how easy it was for us to park our rental car in a nearby car park and then walk to the City Centre. Very easy to do! All in all, the hotel was clean, modern and very comfortable. After a long day of touring, we retired to the hotel to enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant which was delicious and presented in a very traditional Italian way. Due to this positive experience, we decided to enjoy the complementary breakfast the next morning. This meal was even better than dinner! Despite the dining chairs which need to be replaced, we found the atmosphere and staff to be very conducive to a relaxing vacation! We would recommend to a friend and will be back.

I have been to rome several times and each time I have been disappointed by the upscale boutique hotels I have stayed at (overpriced tiny rooms). I couldn't contain my delight when I arrived at Rome Style Hotel. When i made the booking, the hotel hadn't opened yet so I was simply expected another tiny room in a good location but new. The location is perfect, in a small street, away from the hustle and bustle but 4 steps out, you are in the middle of the all major sights. The entrance/lobby is simple and well-designed and they efficiently maximized the small space. I was expecting the rooms to be small and well-designed like the lobby but I was majorly surprised! The room was extremely spacious, bigger than the rooms at a lot of 5-star hotels in Rome. Tastefully designed in a modern classic style and my room came with 2 real balconies and ample closet space. The pictures on their website don't do it justice. The rooms are actually much nicer and bigger than the pictures on the website( a phenomenon which is unheard of! it is usually the opposite) And it comes with all the amenities of a high-end boutique hotel (nespresso machine, etro bath products, free mineral water, amazing slippers etc etc). The service is impeccable, especially the front desk concierge manager, Massimiliano, who is so charming and warm and oversaw everything to perfection and made sure that his staff attends to every detail with care. Any hotel would be lucky to have an employee like him! The hotel breakfast is also sumptuous and very generous and the staff is sweet and attentive. I almost didn't want to write this review for selfish reasons so I can keep this gem for myself. it is so nice i actually stayed there 2 times, once in april with my husband and again in may with my mother.

The Best Western Hotel Bologna near Venice, Italy, is a very good hotel just outside of Venice. It is a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport at a set cost of 35 Euros. The hotel is modern and has efficient and friendly staff. The rooms are quite large with a desk and also a table with two chairs. The bathroom is big with a small walk in shower and a good deep bath as well as a toilet and bidet. There is the usual free coffee and tea, a roof safe, good cupboard space, good size TV with several English news and program channels. Free good WIFI and comfortable beds. The food in the Bistro is very good and the breakfast is quite good. The hotel is directly across the street from the Mestre Railway Station from which it takes 10 minutes by train into the Venice Santa Lucia station next to the Grand Canal. The hotel reception can provide rail tickets which then have to be validated in the small grey/green machines on platform 1 before boarding the train into Venice. A return ticket costs 5 Euros. For anyone visiting Venice for the first time the narrow pedestrian only roads are very congested with many tourists pulling their luggage and having to go over bridges to reach their hotels. The water buses are also very crowded. If you can afford an expensive hotel that can be accessed by private water taxi from the airport do that or stay in Best Western Hotel Bologna outside of Venice at a cheaper rate but with easy transport into Venice.

Wow :-)!!! Our last night in Italy, I really should have extended my stay at the Yard ! We were staying at the room called "club house", which is huge, and it was my first time to see a HD projector and Onkyo stereo (amplifier)in room ... I should bring my blu-rays :-)The design and decoration are unique, I'm travelling to many countries, but never see any hotel like this, reflected the taste of the owner and designer. You could find many oversized coffee-table books, design catalogues and interesting collections in the room, and every corner in the hotel. The staffs were really friendly, patient and helpful, their suggestions saved a lot time for us, you know, we only have 1 day in Milan :-) overall, The yard gave us a wonderful ending for our trip in Italy, I like it, definitely recommend it to everyone and expect to stay there again to some try different rooms :-)

Worldwide Best Western Hotels are fantastic value for money. This hotel - large double room with king-size bed. Best quality linen and mattress - in fact best bed in all hotels we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Italy. Big bathroom with big shower. Breakfast was very good - not just continental, also had bacon and scrambled eggs. Restaurant - worst pizza ever, below average pasta but convenient for tired travellers.
