This place has been my home for awhile now and I couldn't be more appreciative. The management does an unequivocal job compared to other hotels. The manager I'm most acquainted with would be Aaron, and I have never had to ask him for anything more than once. The whole team at this hotel work amazing with each other and do a great job with communicating to other employees as well. I'm still gonna be here for an undetermined amount of time and I'm not regretting it. This is like a said a Gem compared to practically any other hotel in the price range and even above. I'm very grateful to have stumbled across this place. Truly a life saver.

Hidden treasure ”
You have to be careful in San Diego when you find a room that isn't ridiculously expensive, they generally come with unruly characters in the area. This place on the other hand is very well kept and off the normal route most people have in San Diego. Anyways it's always been a pleasant stay at this location.

The staff were very nice, and the geographic location was ok, KEY WORD **geographic** meaning it was a pretty quiet neighborhood. The room was outdated with ripped furniture, however, it came with a new central thermostat ! no air vents in the room though so don’t get too excited it’s just a decorative addition to the unit lol. In terms of cleanliness, the sheets and the towels were clean. Breakfast was trash. They only offered Tea, coffee, packed oatmeal, and bars everyday.

Quiet neighborhood but weird long term residents make you feel insecure”
Need car to go shopping or restaurants as facilites are not within walking distance. Friendly staff but $5 parking fee per night is annoying given all other hotels in same chain provide free parking.

First time”
First time trying to stay here but we didnt even got to spend the first night, had to go find another hotel because it was not inviting or smell clean. The big dumpster greeting you in the parking lot was my first impresion of what was to come. The Employees were friendly and amazingly help full.but I still didnt feel confortable staying the night there specially with 2 of my kids there.

Weak customer service”
Paula at the front counter is incompetent and spineless from my experience with her. I lost my ID while traveling and she wouldn’t let me check in without it. Even though I had several other forms of ID. She calls her boss just to get confirmation that she’s right. Not to see if she can help me at all. You know the types.

Smell old, look old but okay, staff nice, breakfast not good. Internet really slow (1 Mb/s) Compare to other places, this is not as good for the same price.

Beware if arriving late”
I arrived a little past 11pm; there was a sign at front desk saying to use the phone attached and hit 0 but that did not work. I waited outside for 30 minutes before seeing a security guard come around. Security guard says the front desk people leave at 11pm for the day…. I was shocked! So how do we checkin….. luckily security guard said they have my key on the desk so he was able to give it to me. There was another guest similar to me that arrived late but her key wasn’t there.. not sure what she ended doing. Room had that old dirty room feel to it.
