Probably the best value hotel in Myeongdong”
I have been to nearly 4 hotels in the Myeongdong area and I find the G2 hotel to be the best. The staff is very courteous, the rooms are clean, the walls are thicker than other hotels, and the facilities are really nice. The laundry and dryer is free but you need to buy the detergent (around 4,000 won) and the fabric softener (2,000 won) at the vending machine. The gym has running machines, a weight rack and dumbbells. The only downside would be the location (about 5~10 min walk from the nearest metro station) and the lack of shuttle service. However, I still find this hotel to be really great overall. I am definitely coming back to this hotel in the future.

Great stay at a great price. All the things we needed for a comfortable and convenient stay. The free laundry was useful, allowed for an early check-in, helpful staff. Hotel was also quiet, clean. Train about 8 mins walk away.

The hotel may be small and some amenities may not be available but the awesome staff and the brightness /cleanliness of the hotel more than makes up for it. It is also only a 10 minute walk from myeongdong shopping center. Area is safe with a lot of good cafes around. Police station and hospital also located nearby.

Super clean + Laundry facilities + Walking distance ”
Stayed 9 nights at G2 and had a wonderful stay throughout. The rooms were big and cozy with a bathtub which made my 5yr old's stay very memorable. The hotel is between 2 major train lines , Euljiro and Chungmuro/Myeongdong , and many buses from Chungmuro stop too. The only thing that could have been better was if the rooms had their own irons. Several times, I had to go down in my robe to iron my clothes, and it was cold in the basement. However, the laundry facilities made up for all the shortcomings. Perfect for winter and not wanting to bring many clothes! There are many convenience stores and coffee joints around , 2 bakeries and food. Walking distance to Myeongdong so you are away from the noise and busy streets but near enough to walk to it for dinner or so. Overall , we had a great stay at g2 and would definitely recommend and come back should we be going back to Seoul soon!

AMAZING.. Love everything in the hotel.. The staff very helpful, polite, hardworking and professional.. The room is claen and the room serves done great job to keep it that way.. Used the gym and the laundry room.. Very tidy and clean and easy to access.. The roof is so nice as well.. The location is just perfect.. Will be my place every time I will be back to Seoul for sure..

The location is the best for traveler as there has 2 train stations and airport bus nearby. Lots of restaurants and shopping arcade for shopping and easy to go any other place. The front desk provides the best service to the traveler. Hope they can keep it on.

This hotel was great! Super clean, very close to many different metro stops, a lot of cafes on the street and a quick walk to the heart of Myeongdong. Very comfortable room as well and the gym and rooftop were nice additions. A quick note that their restaurant isn’t currently opened (as of Sept. 2022).

Hotel may be small and lacks in some amenities but location wise, its just a 10 minute walk from myeongdong shopping district. Area is very safe and quiet with lots of good cafes and restos. Police station and hospital also near by.

Highly Recommended ”
G2 is only a short walk away from the main Myeongdong area. The hotel is close to three different subway station and convenient to many cafes, restaurants and convenience stores. The staff were kind and helpful and check in and check out was a breeze. We were also able to leave our luggage there for a few days as we headed to Busan. If you are looking for an affordable hotel with convenience, I highly recommend G2 hotel.

G2 is a really great place to stay in Seoul. There are two nearby metro subway stations (Chungmuro and Euljiro-sam(3) ga) which takes you from Seoul Station to Gangnam or Jamsil or literally anywhere. Such convenience! The place also has the nicest staffs. We stayed for a week and the housekeeping always replaced our towels and they allowed an early check in for us since our room is available already. Water bottles are also replenished daily which is cost saving. The hotel is very quiet in a good neighborhood. In any of the metro exits there’s coffee shop or local places for dinner. Just beside the hotel is a jjigae (stew) place that opens from 5pm-2am. You can enjoy a bottle or two of soju here and going home won’t be a problem. The only issue we had is on intermittent wifi connection. Other than that we had a perfect stay. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Consistently proffessional staff and very accomodating. From making sure we were comfortable to ordering pizza for the kids. Location was super convenient to major tourist areas, food,subway and a Starbucks for those that a need there daily fix. Never got a chance to try out the cafe...the beds were too comfy and I wanted to keep sleeping. The roof top has a terrace with stunning views, best to go up at night to wrap up your day. Bathroom was super clean and stocked. Hotel was quiet and also located on a quiet street. We will be returning next year,thanks for having us! Saranghae!

Value for money”
I would highly recommend this hotel. My husband and I stayed for 8 nights and the location was very good. Close to 3 different metro stations of different line allowed us to travel with ease without much transfers. It was very clean and housekeeping was done on a daily basis and toiletries and towels were changed daily. Proximity with myeondong street was the winner as we could do last minute shopping before our departure. We had fun exploring coffee from different cafes which is located around the hotel only.

Simple and clean boutique hotel”
Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Its very small and cosy. And because its not that big, its quiet and not noisy. Enjoyed my stay here and they have a nice rooftop garden. Only down side is that the rooftop garden doesn’t have any bar for cocktails and there is no buffet breakfast in this hotel. If not, it would be perfect!
