Clean, friendly and close to metro”
We were very happy with Hotel Darcet and would definitely recommend it. The staff, especially Zian at the desk in the evenings, were so friendly and Zian was so welcoming every day. There are tables and chairs in the lobby to sit and eat your own food with plenty of markets and takeout places nearby if you want. The rooms and all areas were incredibly clean. There is a lift that fits one person and luggage at a time. There is free coffee/ tea in lobby and you get a large bottle of water at check-in and can buy more cheaply. It is very close to Place de Clichy metro stop. I was travelling with 10 and 13 year olds and our triple room was large, very clean, dark and quiet for sleeping and the bathroom was very good. The shower was huge, clean and had great power. Highly recommend this hotel for the price.

Hotel Darcet was an amazing choice!”
I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Darcet. It is less than 5 mins walk from Metro (Place de Clichy- easy to get to anywhere from there). Lovely walk up to Montmarte from here. Even though it is close to the "Red light district", Pigalle, the hotel is not in this area in itself and does not feel unsafe at all (we were three female travellers (my Mum, my and my 12 year old daughter) and never felt unsafe in the area. The staff couldn't do enough for us. They were so kind and attentive and personal. They gave us a very late check out as we had a late flight. The hotel is very clean. They give you access to a small kitchen and a dining room so you can bring back food to prepare and eat at the hotel which is very economical. It is excellent value for money and I totally recommend them.

A little gem”
Fantastic location with lots of restaurants nearby. Bakery and supermarket on the doorstep and metro two minutes walk away. Easy to get to from CDG airport. Staff lovely…very helpful super clean. Breakfast room with free coffee/tea all day and kitchen with fridge, microwave and oven. Effective air con, quiet too. Hotel quiet and ideal for exploring. Bathroom could do with somewhere for toilet bags etc. towels changed daily. Lift a bonus but only one adult or two small people at a time. Slow to go up and down but stairs a bit of a killer at the end of a long hot day! Great little place to bake a base for exploring Paris. Try cafe Luna up the road….excellent food, reasonably priced!

Excellent hotel”
I really enjoyed mu stay here. Hotel is super cute, it is 2 star but looks much better then some of 3star hotels I stayed in. Staff is very friendly, rooms are super clean and spacious (for Paris). There is a common area for dinning where you can bring your breakfast/dinner and have a tear or a coffee. Location is also very good , lots of busses and Metro around, easy to get to all major attractions. All in all I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel and will look to book it again when I visit Paris!

Superb!”
Great location, walking distance to the subway, Mouling Rouge, Montmatre and 15 minute walking to the Sacre Coeur. Fabulous and amazing staff, they were very helpful and kind. There's a complete kitchen to cook your food! This was incredible for us. Close to many supermarkets, boulangeries and restaurantes. Room very comfortable, just a little problem with the heat sometimes. I will definitely return in my next trip to Paris.

Excellent staff”
Perfect for me as a woman traveling alone. Safe, clean, lovely staff, close to metro, bed firm but not hard, room nice and toasty during a very cold week. The boulangerie across the street has an awesome croque monsieur. I like that everyone leaves their key at the front as they leave and picks it up on return, nothing to lose, and access to the hotel is controlled. Definitely staying here in future.

Excellent hotel for getting around Paris easily”
The hotel is situated near a busy intersection of roads and lots of public transport, near to a variety of cafes and shops. I found It is well managed with friendly staff, very clean rooms and good working amenities. It was an asset having use of a kitchen available and dining room with tea and coffee. Would certainly recommend the hotel to others.

Solo Traveller - Staying in a comfortable and secure place”
The desk staff, from the time of the booking to when I checked out were exceptional. No question too small and their advice was spot on each time. Would recommend the Hotel Darcet for the traveller that wants a comfortable bed and warm/hot shower, but their time is spent out in Paris discovering its delights, not swanning about a hotel. There are cooking facilities, but I was on vacation.... In particular the delights of Montmarte are on your doorstep, the Metro and bus stops close by. Final piece of advice, coming from the airport, once you get into town, get directions when booking as to where to catch the bus rather than train to get to the hotel from Gard Du Nord, if public transport is your caper. This is a safe, comfortable and secure place to stay.

Good value for money with exceptional stay!”
We loved our stay in this hotel! Booking was easy via Agoda and payment method was convenient, we used credit card. The management was very accomodating with our request, since its our 1st time in Paris, we wanted a room with a view, so we asked a room with a balcony and it was easily granted. The receptionists were very nice and friendly, and most of all they can understand and speak a 'lil English so that's an advantage. The room was small but it's clean and cozy. The comforter was warm and the pillows were soft. The bed was comfortable. Even though it was cold season, we loved the fact that there was an AC, although its restricted to fan mode. We were able to sleep better coz there's ventilation. We like that they clean the room everyday, make the bed, and change the towels. There's TV, a hair dryer, and hot/cold shower (a must for me in hotels). One suggestion though is to provide a complimentary bottled drinking water everyday. They gave us 1L complimentary bottled water just on our 1st day, but on the succeeding days they didn't provide anymore (other hotels provide complimentary bottled water anytime). But there was this nice guy receptionist who we saw for 2 consecutive days and gave us 2 free small drinking bottled water. No breakfast served in this hotel but they have different flavors of complimentary coffee and tea available 24/7. They also have a dining area and a 'lil kitchen with a microwave and ref for your take out food. The hotel has a very nice location with lots of restaurants of different cuisines, bars, supermarkets, boulangeries/patisseries, souvenir shops, and pharmacies nearby. And it is very close to the metro and some of the famous tourists spots such as the Moulin Rouge bar and the Sacre-Coeur at Montmartre. So transportation was not a problem. And also, they can book you a private car for transport back to the airport when you need it which we availed with a fixed price of €50. Very convenient! We would definitely recommend this hotel to

Perfect stay in Paris”
It was pleasure staying at Hotel Darcet. The place and location was perfect, very close to transit & metro station. The best thing that I liked about it was perfectly working AC & motorized room darkening windows (we are late sleepers). Staff was very helpful & courteous. I would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again in future.

Exceptional”
The room is simply but very clean and larger than what you would expect for European hotels in this price range. The beds are comfortable, and there is free coffee in the morning in the sitting area next to the lobby. But what makes this hotel really exceptional is its staff: they are extremely kind, helpful, and joyful. I got the feeling that it's run by a family, and that you are welcomed among them. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit, and recommend anybody to stay here. A truly wonderful hotel to stay at.

Wonderful staff and location!”
Hotel Darcet is located in a convenient location in Paris, close to the bus and metro lines. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and there is an elevator (albeit small). There are some good restaurants nearby and the bus (bus 30, I believe) goes to most of the main highlighted spots. Also, all of the staff were very kind to us and quite helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Modest but lovely”
This is a classic, small Parisian boutique hotel with nothing fancy, but a lovely staff and a very comfortable little room - which was larger than most typifying hotels of this sort. Staying in Paris affordably like this usually means no views, but charming features like a narrow, winding staircase and a tiny elevator (which other folks might not find so charming) and you’ll get that here. But old buildings like this are also just as likely to be dark and a little gloomy, with cracked plaster and chipped paint, but not here! Everything is as updated as can be expected, clean and bright. The bed was unusually supportive, firm yet soft - a real plus that you can’t take for granted at this price. You’re located on a side street steps away from a busy thoroughfare; on one hand, very close to the feeling of everyday, working and bustling Paris - although just far enough away from the noise for this side street to be surprisingly quiet. On the other hand, bags of rubbish were piled up everywhere, really crowding this little side road - I don’t know, seemed like a problem all over this part of town, like maybe the garbage removers were on strike? And it was summer so the smell was especially unpleasant, but ultimately avoidable. Very close to the steep and beautiful climbs into Montmartre and easily accessible to nearby Metro stops. If you want to save money and don’t mind a humble abode, but still want a cozy, clean and comfortable room after long days and nights out exploring, this place is for you.
