Lovely Hotel”
I booked this hotel from Australia for my 19 year old daughter who is travelling alone in France. This is her description of the place ....i love so much!! Its like a cross between an old backstage area to a tiny french theatre and a classy french call girl house from the 30s or like some of the rooms and corridors from the haunted mansion ride in disneyland or that big hollywood tower drop ride in california land all at once! The corridors are like a maze in one of those creepy hotels from an old fashioned horror film, it has a narrow spiral staircase with red velvet carpet, red and gold and cream striped old fashioned wallpaper, big matching curtains with tassles and venecian masks hang on the walls in the lobby and the elevator is so cool! it's one of those tiny ones where you have to pull open a door to get in then pull across and close one of those metal shutter things and it feels like its going to drop any second its so awesome. And there are quotes above the beds. mine say (translated) - 'the ephemeral is the raw material of the theatre' and 'theatre and life can sometimes be one and the same thing' which remind me of uni haha She stayed a extra 2 nights and didn't want to leave!

All round great hotel”
the hotel staff were very helpful they spoke very good english as our french wasn't up to scratch. they supplied us with maps and direction, informed us of the best type of metro tickets to buy, taxi numbers, routes etc the rooms were clean, tidy and well kept and a good size (not something that i would call small). around the hotel there are a number of restaurants to grab a bite to eat for the days you feel to explore around the area. the hotel itself is 2 minutes away from the closest metro station and takes 15 minutes to get into central paris and give great access to go see the sites.

Great price performance for Paris ”
For the price point, no complaints. The room was clean, comfortable and not small for Paris. Five minutes walk to line 2 and 3, between Villi ers & Rome Metro Station. Staff friendly and helpful. Not a neighborhood for nice shops, restaurants or drinking places, but conviniently located to really where you want to go. Highly recommended for those who just need an economical, comfortable and conviniently located hotel in Paris.

Warm place to stay...”
I like the location and the staff at the reception. A nice guy welcomed us with a big smile and showed us the map of Paris upon check in. He explained about the location of places where tourists usually go and the routes to get there. His great service marked a good start to my stay! The room is small but inviting with the orange lightings and nice wall papers in it.Attached toilet is tiny too but it doesn't stink and the toilet facilities work well...

Little hotel, good value for money”
it's a little hotel in the 17th arrondissement, next to the 8th. the hotel is between two metro stations, good for moving around in paris. there are many bars, restaurants, cafés in the neighbourhood and the station st. lazare is just a 5-10 minute walk. the room itself are tiny and little. the furniture isnt the newest, but somehow the room was charming.

Good location but the bed is small”
i booked this hotel but when arrived, they said there was an electricity problem so they transferred us to another hotel under same group but not that close to metro station. i have no choice but to accept and they offered free breakfast as compensation.... the service was good and the room is the big enough for a couple, but the bed is too small and the mattress is too soft. the toilet is small but i would say it's still acceptable.

Great place to stay in”
On the dec12 night before our departure, a staff named Othman who is in charge of the reception asked us for a euro as a booking fee for taxi to the airport. He is practically blackmailling us as he told us that he would cancel the taxi if we do not want to pay this the euro. This is the reason why the staff performance to low to me and I got proof got it. He also refuses to provide us a hotel receipt when we ask for one.

Nice antique hotel with cosy rooms”
We stayed there for 1 night only but the staff were equally friendly and helpful. The hotel was pretty old but it was charming as well. Nearest metro station Rome was just a few minutes walk.

Review for Hotel Romance”
as mentioned in an earlier review, hotel romance, though a little out of the way, had friendly english speaking staff. the rooms were of an adequate size, and most importantly, were clean!

Comfortable ”
We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and it was a comfortable stay. The location was great because it was so close to the Metro, making it easy to get around. The staff at the hotel were extremely obliging and helped us with making reservations and enquiries at restaurants etc. We enjoyed walking around the area between the Viliers and Rome Metro stations. There were a lot of shops and restaurants and an evening market.
