It was almost perfect. Would rate it 9 out of 10. It couldve been 10 if one of the staff didnt come in while im almostnaked in the room. She knocked and all but i was wearing headphones. But the room was tidied up that morning already so i dont know why she came in the afternoon? Lol anyway, it was very good experience. All staff are very helpful and very friendly. I had a very positive stay in the hotel and the city. Reception are very friendly, one of the best reception ive been in the world. Buffet breakfast is very good too. Will come back again

Stayed in the hotel for 5 nights during my visit in Paris last week. The hotel room is clean and nice environment. Hotel location is the best which i would like to mention as it is just located at the TGV train station and few RER and metro stations which make our journey within Paris easier. Will definitely recommend my friend to stay in this hotel is it is value for money.

This hotel is a good choice for accomadation in Paris. Your wallet won’t run dry, uber friendly locale but rather than uber public transport is super available with bus and train station in a 7-10 min walk. This of course takes you straight to any part of Paris you want to go! Just make sure you are booked in the room you planned for online. We were supposed to be put in a triple room comfort but got put in the classic which was clearly not as good. Pretty sure they mismanaged booking. Despite that it is a good affordable place. Rue Cremieux literally right across along with fabulous restaurants. In any direction just 2 mins you can explore this district with ease.

The hotel I always stayed was full booked when I visited Paris in early May'18 hence I booked this hotel instead as my family need to travel thru Gare de Lyon a few times during our trip. At first I was doubtful of the switch but I am 100% convinced now. Their rate is very reasonable considering the distance to Gare de Lyon (10-15min walk), Bastille (3-min walk), Opera House (right opposite), Marche Bastille (One of the biggest open air market in Paris which open on Thursday and Sunday), Carrefour (1-min walk) and many more. If you have lot of luggage and/or travel with elderly, my advice is to take taxi @ 10-15 Euro to the hotel if you arrive at Gare de Lyon. Their breakfast is decent but their staff could be rude especially if you take away your breakfast from the restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to all especially those family with elderly and/or young children as this hotel have suite with two bathrooms (one with shower and the other one with shower and bathtub).

My husband wrote a long comment to complain to Novotel, still no reply. Since they ignored us, we just post it here again: We booked 4 nights but we got really disappointed about it: -First, we hadn't been informed (by customer reviews, Agoda or even Novotel itself) that the hotel was under renovation; as a result the hotel was noisy and the swimming pool was closed, which caused my 3 year-old son much sadness. If it weren't for the swimming pool we may not have booked it! -Second, the waiting time for the breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday was awfully long (more than 20 minutes!) -Third, the superior room we stayed in did not have any toiletries (except for the soap). -Finally, Agoda states the room is 25m2 but I can assure you that it feels a lot smaller, I regret not taking the time to measure it. The lobby also looks extremely small and can get easily congested with all the suitcases and trolleys in the way. Novotel is meant to be a 4 star hotel but it is hard to see 4 stars in that hotel located Gare de Lyon. I do believe a renovation is necessary, however it shouldn't be at the expense of the current customers and Novotel should have told us the truth from the beginning.

We booked a Quad room in this hotel, one of only a few places in Paris still doing quad rooms. Check-in was plain and simple, all the usual requirements; ID/CC for Mini-bar etc. On entering the room, I was amazed at how they managed to pack 4 bed spaces into what was a tiny wedge. Don't expect to be able to all move about freely. But there was enough space; just, for 2 singles, a double, a large wardrobe, reasonable size desk and chair plus another chair by the window. The AC worked, as did the TV. Showers were nice with a step down into it. Good enough space in the bathroom given the tiny dimensions of the room. We didn't sample the breakfast at €12 for the 1st guest and €6 for the 2nd! Kids under 12 are also €6. Parking; if you drive here, then be prepared to drive around to find a space or park in a underground public car park. There is no on site parking. There was a fully service front desk, i.e. manned all night and a "reasonably priced" mini-bar, if those things can ever be reasonable. Would I stay here again, if I had to.

I am very disappointed and angry with the customer service at this hotel. I booked 2 rooms in this hotel 3 MONTHS before arrival. A quadruple room for 3 adults and a child and a double room for 2 adults and a baby. I was told 1 DAY before arrival that the hotel Doesn't provide a cot for the baby and the baby is counted as 1 person so I am legally not allowed to stay in the double room! So I ask if I could upgrade it to an available triple room. They didn't reply at all. Because I have already booked the rooms and It's difficult for me to find similar rooms in 25 hours.

Pros: Nice, clean, quiet and cosy room. Helpful staffs. Big thanks to the efficient staffs. Nice buffet for breakfast. They kept my luggage for free for the whole day even when i checked out early morning. When i returned in the afternoon they offered me a living room to relax and wait for my taxi. The hotel is found in a good location. I felt very safe even i stayed alone there. Cons: can find none except for the pancake that was rubbery.

The hotel is right next to a metro station, which is very convenient to get around the city. The neighborhood also looks nice, with a large park across the Main Street, and there is also a very nice French restaurant around the corner. The hotel is more like a big house, feels like at home. Room is not very big but spacious enough for suitcases and it was very clean and tidy. The lady at the reception was also very nice. A very pleasant experience staying at this place. Would visit again next time to Paris.

We stayed at 61 Paris Nation Hotel for nearly a full week. Although our stay was not that long, we felt very at home with the friendliness of the staff especially Paul (forgot to ask his surname). No doubt the hotel was located a bit out of the way from the main city centre, but getting around was made very easy due to the nearby Metro Station. We would definitely love to come and stay here again!

This hotel is a few minutes walk from Bercy metro station and 15 min. walk from gare de Lyon. There are a few nice cafes/restaurants around the hotel a lot more around gare de Lyon. The metro passes every 3 to 4 minutes or so and brings you straight to the most used sightseeing stops around the Seine. The hotel itself is not on a busy street, so no roadnoise, comfortable 4 star hotel and we really enjoyed the breakfast with lots of variety.

The hotel is a few minutes walk from the station, ideal if like me you arrive late in the evening. The area felt safe. The man at the reception was pleasant. It is a basic, budget hotel and it was adequate for my needs. I was comfortable in the single room and the bathroom was adequate though I am not sure the frosted glass window is sufficient to stop people choking on their suahi over the road. I did not stop for breakfast at the hotel as I left too early, so cannot comment. Around the corner from the hotel there are restaurants, cafe's and bars.

Great hotel, 4 minite walk from Picpus metro, 8 minutes from Nation metro (faster without suitcases!!) The hotel is compact and rooms are small even by Paris standards. However, it is spotlessly clean with a good shower and comfortable bed . I stayed with my adult daughter and we were out all day so didn't really hang out in the room. I don't think it's ideal for families due to room size but great for 2 people who need a base to explore Paris.

great location a few minutes walk from gare de lyon. thank heavens for the lift - tiny but working. our room was on a high floor with a little balcony overlooking rue de lyon. there was quite a bit of noise at nights and we needed to close the window & door. this was mostly from sirens (police or ambulance????) on vehicles traveling down the nearby avenue ledru rolin. room was basic but had everything we needed (no fridge unfortunately). our twin beds were okay and the bathroom was good enough but nothing special. the photos on the website must be of other, more upmarket rooms and bathrooms as ours could best be described as fairly basic. for the sake of convenience, we paid euros each for breakfast - somewhat overpriced, but an easy option. i'd stay here again for the location and if i was on a budget.

My stay i would say was just average, we didnt have room service everyday to do standard things such as change covers and empty bins, i had to tell them to do it on the 3rd day as they still havent at that point. Internet was the worse i've experienced in my life; as people who are coming for holiday you'll expect wifi at ur hotel especially if you're booked with one that says they provide excellent internet, i could connect for a few seconds and then after that i couldnt, i basically was not connected throughout my stay so i had no choice but to turn on my data roaming which costs me and extra £12 also at the end of our stay they said we must pay service tax etc etc, it was an unexpected bill.

Location is walking distance from the station which is why we book this hotel. We arrived at the hotel with 4 of us (baby + toddler) and the receptionist said the hotel policy won’t allow 4 people in the room, they count baby as 1 apparently. And she call for the lady who I assumed the supervisor, and after thinking for a while, she’d kind enough to let us stay that time only and told us we should be aware of the rule next time. The room was small as we have 1 double bed and 1 additional single bed, so there is not much space to even open a suitcase and walk. If you want to drop your luggage on checkout while waiting for your train/flight schedule, there is locker room in the basement which cost 2 euro.

It is just walking distance from Gare de Lyon, hardly 200-300 meters, and right on the main road, close to restaurants, shops and various facilities. Very comfortable room and great view. Very neatly kept, easy check-in, friendly staff. We could get drinking water / hot water free of charge. Great for a short stay (or even a long one). Very safe area, and lively, with all conveniences near-by, including a supermarket right next doors. Wil surely come again!

I am on a honeymoon trip. I think this hotel is under rated. The room are spacious, clean, toilet are neat and they even got a locker. They got a small open garden before entering the room after you pass the reception. They even had room service for us. Nearby got a convenient store and some few restaurants. Overall, this hotel is great and I would recommend to my friends to book this hotel. =)

I highly suggest Sweet hotel because of value for money. Their price is affordable and reasonable compared to other hotels in Paris. Their location is also great especially for people who is coming from Paris central bus station for people coming and going other parts of europe. They have a staff name Karen who is very helpful and lenient. She allowed me to stay in my room earlier than the check in time that helps me a lot because im coming from a long travel from munich germany that time. She dis not ask me for any additional fee. The room is clean and has a relaxing aura inside.

I stayed at L'Interlude Hotel for 1 night in early December, and it was great value for the price I paid (~£50 for the night)! PROS: fantastic location - barely a minute away from the metro station, with plenty of shops & amenities nearby / very friendly staff, and the desk stays open 24h / clean & modern accommodation - the bathroom was very modern & clean, and the bed was incredibly comfy! / having a kettle in the room was a great addition! CONS: walls are a bit thin, so you may hear neighbours if they're noisy! I didn't find this to be too much of an issue, but it may bother light sleepers a little more. Etc.: One thing I did find a little odd was that room cards had to be returned to the front desk whenever leaving, and picked up again on your return. I haven't experienced this in hotels before, so it was a little surprising, but not necessarily a hassle, especially with the desk being open 24/7, though I was surprised that ID, or booking info wasn't checked for this.

Located close to the station for train travel , rooms were small but very functional and had everything I would expect of a 4 star hotel not a 3 so was pleasantly surprised , gentleman at reception on my early morning check out was very nice and even made me a coffee to ready me for my trip to Switzerland by train - I will definitely stay at this hotel again and for longer when I return to Paris :)
