Where to stay in Houston City Center
Houston City Center hotels & accommodations

The perfect location if you visit events at GRB Houston. Hotel is connected by a skybridge. It's a bit costly, but very convinient to stay here, service is outstanding, excellent breakfast. There are few spots, e.g. the Grove, in walking distance for good food and drinks.

We checked in at 7 am on a Monday morning and it was quite fast, breakfast was also quite good but mainly American spread and it is the same everyday. The rooms we booked were the executive rooms and they were large, ours had 2 x Queen sized beds and it was right at the end of the hall way, only problem is the walls of the hotel is quite thin so you could actually hea...

The chair and beds in our room were not comfortable. Pillows were too soft. Bathtub was not a handicap design and was very slippery with a missing connection for the sprayer. Would recommend a recliner for seating or ottoman for the chair and converting bathtub to shower only. The staff was outstanding in valet parking, front desk, and for in room dining all employees...

We came to Houston from Dallas for Astroworld Fest, location was great 1.8 miles away from NRG park. Therefore, no Uber was needed. Pizza Hut and Burger King are right in front of the hotel perfect late night snack! Hotel staff were great, rooms were cleaned as well, they gave us a complimentary upgraded for no reason!

While I was staying in this hotel, first thing is water in the room was very slow, also bathroom is like 1.5 stars hotel. I don't feel comfortable to drink water from tap in the room - yeah, that bad. Whole carpet in the room is smell really bad. The bright side is the staff in the hotel is actively helping you when you need one. I don't think that next time I will sta...

Having just experienced Hurricane Harvey, you'd think every hotel in town would be ecstatic to have you for a reasonable price (yes, even at the Hilton)! Staff friendliness was exceptional but the clientele was what really killed the mood. During check out I was rudely cut in line by an older woman who just visited the bar and was in need of a shuttle. During my dinner...

The hotel didn't provide a nice clean room even previously booked for more than 2 months. The room was available but not properly cleanned. I needed to use towel instead of pillow in the first night. The airconditioner was old and noisy. The room made you feel like you were in '60 and the light was yellow. After complaining on the unclean pillow and bedsheet in the ne...

I stayed here after moving my son into his dorm. I was very tired and the young lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and it is so nice to be on campus and able to have a good night's sleep before breakfast the next morning with my freshman and the long drive back home.

The hotel obviously has best access to NRG stadium and has their own free parking, makes you a lot easier to go to the stadium avoiding any kind of traffic. The place doesn't have the cloak so they were not systematic to keep our laggage before and after the check in, but staffs are kind and nice to host us friendly.

The hotel was very nice, clean and friendly. I did not receive the $9 gift card as expected and I was charged $10 extra just to park my car in the hotel parking lot....this was totally unexpected and disappointing. My thought is that they are taking advantage of guests due to recent flooding in Houston. I will have to seriously think before staying here again

Homewood Suites Hilton Houston is a comfortable, good value hotel located in a convenient area of downtown Houston, particularly if you are attending the convention centre or Minute Maid Park. The rooms are huge (although there is a lot of wasted space where they could have added useful things like a second toilet for example), the onsite small store is handy for last ...

It is owned by people of Indian origin. They were nice to me but i found some lack of professionalism in their conduct. I would attribute it to the location actually. When i entered the property there was no one in the reception. i had to shout out for 5 minutes before some one showed up. What i found most significant is the location. It is what they in US call a 'neig...

Our check in was delayed and we were dismissed and told to come back in 30 minutes. The bed was very uneven and made noise every time movement was made. The sheets were rough and stiff; the fitted sheet was so old the elastic was completely spent and it would not stay on the bed. 2 of 4 mornings we were there the grab and go breakfast lacked food entirely. Also, obv...

I booked this for a one night post-operative visit since we live in a neighboring state and did not want to travel 5 hours in the dark. Also, I booked because it was considerably cheaper than the hotel my family stayed at for my surgery and hospital stay...total of 5 nights. My husband and two adult children stayed in a room with 2double beds and 1 chair. How I wish...

It was just a one night stay for a concert at a nearby venue, and The Sleep Inn was just right. From its location, the helpful staff to the basic amenities it was what we needed. If in Houston again for a show at that venue...will absolutely use this property again.

Came here for a Houston Texans game, very close to the stadium and stadium parking. Breakfast was good and quite the variety. There was security so I felt comfortable that my vehicle wouldn’t be messed with. Definitely would stay again if I was going to another game or had something to do on this part of town.

This is now the 2nd time that I have stayed at a CQ Hotel. Both times have been fantastic. It seems that they focus on revitalizing old buildings or old hotels. I love the architecture and the old interior design that are kept original but cleaned, added to, and well maintained. The Lobby and Rooms are excellent and I love the purified water on every floor and the...

They say first impressions make the difference and unfortunately the check in wasn't the greatest and the bar man was too busy telling his mate how often he gets drunk, however mistakes happen, we are all human and the team in the restaurant saved the day with their smiles, friendly engaging demeanour and professional approach. Would I return?..definitely. Would I ex...
