It's a nice resort right next to the beach. But not right on the beach - you need to cross a street and a parking lot to get to the beach. Fortunately, there's a walking bridge to the beach. I generally have lower expectations when it comes to hotels in the US because usually service is unparalleled with hotels in Asia. But I have to say the staff at this hotel have exceeded my expectations, every need was met with warmth and courteousness, even the staff managing the phone lines. I could not recommend this hotel more! And I think it’s very likely I’ll be back. Location is wonderfully situated near the beach and the mall too. Walking distance or a short shuttle ride away. “Lovely HB Resort”
The Hyatt Regency in Hun tington Beach was great. The rooms were so clean and the staff were wonderful. Our son LOVED the kids pool area and slides, and the bridge across PCH was super convenient. During our 4 day stay, we rented bikes at Toes on the Nose and rode down to the HB Pier, ate some great food, relaxed by the pool, and had a nice beach day. Our room overlooked the Grotto and had an ocean view which was great. Downsides were the resort and pool were absolutely packed on the Saturday we were there, and they don’t have a self-park option — only valet for $60/day.
