"I was very pleased with my room and the hotel in general. I had booked my stay in two separate reservations because a couple of weeks after my booking we decided to stay the Monday as well. I asked the front desk if we could just stay in the same room & not be moved & they said yes, they could accommodate that. However, we discovered on the Monday that the carpet was being torn up in the hallway right out front of our room. The noise was unbearable from the sanding of the concrete hallway once the carpet was torn up & the dust created was so toxic that when we went back to the room that afternoon, I began coughing & had irritation in my throat. We asked to be moved immediately, which we were, but I continued coughing for the next hour from the dust I had ingested. We should have been told the morning we requested to stay in the same room & moved then. I was not happy that I had to ingest this awful dust & this could have been avoided. Other than that I was happy with my stay."

"The design of this hotel is a feast for the eyes, but the service was mixed. When I booked, there was a complication so I called the hotel directly after talking to Agoda. The hotel manager would not speak to me over the phone- I had to email. After a lengthy email exchange, he didn’t understand (or didn’t read) my email. I expected more from this hotel. However, once we arrived, the staff & valet were very friendly & helpful."
