Nice place to stay”
We were with a group of 20 with ages ranging from 5 to 80. They were able to get all our close together and when we asked to switch the elderly on our group to a first floor room, they were able to accommodate us. My kids loved that the pool was 9 feet deep. You don’t see that very often. We never tried the on site restaurant for breakfast, but a few of us had the dinner (Mexican food) and enjoyed it. Staff was able to quickly address any needs we had (towels for pool, quarters for laundry, etc,). Fridge was a good size and worked well. No microwave in the room…but they had one in the laundry room. We could easily get to beaches, stores, and parks. There are fancier hotels, but this was clean, comfortable and family friendly.

Well worth the price!”
This place is pet friendly at a very convenient location next to the I8. They have two restaurants they run, one in the morning and the other for evenings. My family had their Carne Asada Fries and a custom order of Chicken Caesar Salad. 💯 worth the price! The fries, especially, were smartly done. Cheese topped the well-seasoned fries to keep them from getting soggy. The beef was next and you can taste the flavor a good char-broil leaves! And finally guacamole that was a nice mix of chunky and wonderfully creamy came next, slightly finished with an adequate squirt of sour cream. The hostess offered condiments, but none were needed with this dish. This was my highlight of our stay here. In the morning I had their take on "Chicken and Waffles" while someone else had their Steak and Eggs. Both were wonderful dishes. The taste did not disappoint! The day before we left, we went to Dog Beach, which is a 10 drive towards the West end of the I-8. A short drive to the beach on a Friday night. It's a trip I am thankful for and have virtually no complaints. If I have to say one thing it would be to remind the restaurant staff of some utensils if you plan to take your food to-go.

What a Surprise!”
My family has visited San Diego for over 30 years but this is the first time that we stayed at this hotel and we couldn’t be happier. The King’s Inn Hotel met all of our needs. It was centrally located, clean and the beds were comfortable. All it a reasonable price. The Waffle Spot restaurant on site was a pleasant surprise! The breakfast was great and at a good price. Just this restaurant alone is worth coming to even if you don’t stay at the hotel. There is a 10 % discount for the restaurant when you stay at the hotel so all the way around it’s a win-win.

Great place to stay”
This was our first time at this hotel and it didn't disappoint us. Our room was very clean, the pool had toys my kids could use, the waffle shop had amazing food, and the service was amazing. They were able to help me print out papers I needed for our stay and were very accommodating to our needs. The only problem we had was that they had a plumbing issues one day and we couldn't use our toilet in the morning, but that was fixed before we got back to our room after our long day. Over all, we loved our stay and would come back again.

Several girlfriends and two young kids booked this hotel and we loved it. It was close to the airport, without the airport noise and congestion. We were arriving on different flights and had to make several trips to the airport which only took about 10 minutes. All the staff were really, really friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet, and included a fridge. There is plenty of parking. Bathrooms are small, but we didn't plan to spend much time in there:) The kids loved the pool and the waffle place for breakfast.

Hidden Gem”
I am not sure how I came across this hotel but I am so happy I did. It was a great surprise to see how nice of a location it is. The rooms are nice, clean and with a lot of space. The pool area looked amazing, wish I had the time to use it, next time! The staff was great, easy check-in and out. They also offered great food options on site with a reasonable price. I highly recommend.

Clean & Affordable”
Staff was nice both times I stayed here. Rooms were clean and spacious. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the lack of outlets for use in the room. Also there's no microwave, but I found out there's one in the laundry room you can use for free. Didn't go in the pool, but it looked clean and well kept. Affordable and in a good location, would definitely stay here next time I'm in San Diego.

It is a nice clean hotel with very nice management. A older hotel but well maintained. Great Mexican restaurant on property as well as Waffle house. Would recommend for families on a budget too. Nice heated pool / spa. It has a sister hotel by Disneyland. Both nice and well managed. Excellent for business overnight too.

I wasn't expecting a lot based on the low price, but it surpassed my expectations. The location was central to all the tourist places in San Diego. The room was comfortable and was clean and reasonably quiet. The staff were friendly and professional. I really appreciated the free parking. I would definitely stay here again.

Really cute retro 1950s decor. Rooms are clean. Two bed room is very spacious. One bed is good except the bathroom is small. The sink is tiny and squeezed in at a difficult angle. Both restaurants are good casual dining quality.Overall hotel is a great value. .

at our stay the staff is awesome. The maids clean the room very well and we're very very nice to us. Unfortunately even though this hotel is pet-friendly it's not price friendly when it comes to pets they charge $17.99 plus tax per day for your pet. So if you're staying long time with this place it adds up to about $500 for your pet to Just to stay. Their fees were not upfront in the pricing when I booked on Agoda otherwise I would not have booked at this hotel. The pool was down and so was the hot tub because they are resurfacing yet the almost the whole time we were there of our 28-day stay we had to go to the other hotel next to it called the at all hotel next door to use the pool and to their hot tub. varies were not out front in the pricing when I booked on ago de otherwise I would not have booked at this hotel. We had a plumbing problem in the very beginning and without us saying anything they did come in and fix the plumbing. They're very good about maintaining the overall property and the front desk staff were amazing. The waffle spot and the Amigo spot hotels are very conveniently located inside the actual Hotel itself which was very nice. If you like waffles and pancakes you like going to the waffle house that's there in the morning and you'll really really would like to go to the amigo spot restaurant that is there on the location their food is the best Mexican food I've ever eaten in my life and is as close to my own home

I am always sceptical choosing a place to stay online without knowing anything about it, but the Kings Inn was a great choice. The staff was exceptional, especially the front desk. The room was very clean. It had a heated swimming pool which was nice. It had two rrstraunts at the location which was convienant. The location was great...a 5 minute ride to downtown San Diego. I was very happy with Kings Inn.

Easy to get to, incredible beds, everything you need in the room. Wonderful pillows, the TV works, the Jacuzzi is piping hot, the bathtubs are perfect. My sleep was amazing, not loud at all. Quiet and serene! Fun place To go if your solo or with your family

The Kings Inn is located north of the main city of San Diego where a lot of other hotels are. It's very accessible (by car) and easy to reach. If you're a skilled driver it doesn't matter, otherwise it's a bit outside but it's really worth a stay. Nice and friendly staff, amazing breakfast (The Waffle Spot) and a Mexican restaurant with authentic food. Also two washing machines and two dryers are available and of course a lot of parking. Thanks for the stay, we'll definitely come back again.
