Kettle in room, 2 basin in room, bath tub in room Location is walkable to Villier metro. Nice coffee opposite hotel. Bed is of reasonable comfort (not the best but still ok) Rather spacious:) Reception staff are friendly and helpful.

my stay at Relais Monceau”
The Staff was correct but could be more smily, except for the lady at the reception who was charming, and helpful. There was no bell boy for the luggage, rare for a 4 stars hotel. The lobby's choice of furniture is very poor, the couches look cheap and tasteless . The breakfast buffet is a bit poor. On the other hand, the rooms are very clean and renovated, the hotel is well located near the metro station , shops, restaurants , and entertainment is all around the area. The lobby could be more charming specially that the hotel has a certain style. My daughter and I felt safe, and at home in away.

Nicest people but risky bath tub”
The room was spacious and quiet. The reception people, especially Murielle, were very nice and efficient. The hotel is close to the metro and everything else, with a nice restaurant and a boulangerie opposite the hotel. I would have gladly recommended the hotel except for one thing: the bath tub and hand shower. Other rooms maybe different - but this one made taking a simple shower an adventure. First, there was not a shower: a deep tub with an old fashioned hand shower with two ‘banana shaped’ hot and cold controls - and no hook to put it up to free your hands. That is still ok. In my bathroom the hot water ‘banana’ had a mind of its own and would come to full position which was scorching hot - even with the cold water in full force. This can also be fixed; a lose screw somewhere and they sent someone up but nothing changed. But the main issue was that there were no grips to protect you from slipping when you get in and especially when getting out of the tub. Dangerous!

Simple Boutique Hotel”
i scoured the internet looking for affordable boutique hotels in paris with very little success. luckily we discovered the le relais monceau which fit our budget perfectly. rooms were simple, though the bathroom looked like it had been recently updated. some may find the rooms small, but that is the standard in paris. there were two of us in a superior room and had no issues. wifi availability in the salon and first floor may be a pain to some, but i found it rather refreshing not having internet access on the 3rd floor - besides, you're in paris! location was just right with the villiers metro stop (blue line) within a 2 minute walk.

Charming hotel with lovely ambiance”
We were very pleased with the hotel staff at Le Relais Monceau. They were quite helpful in giving us directions and with dinner recommendations (and we don't speak a word of French). We really liked the room which was a comfortable size and decorated with a romantic flair. There was a nice floor to ceiling window with shutters that could be swung open to overlook the street. The wood floors and red bedspread gave the room a cozy warm feel that was exactly what we hoped for in a quaint Paris hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and we absolutely loved eating it in the enclosed garden room. Wish that the free wi-fi connection would have worked in the room and not been restricted to use only in the common area near the lobby.

Lovely hotel in great location”
We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Le Relais Monceau. All the staff were friendly and attentive, and all understood and spoke some English when my French failed me.. Our room itself (superior room, twin beds) was lovely - a decent size for Paris standards, with ample storage, lovely decor, with large windows looking onto the picturesque street and delicious boulangerie across the road! Great bathroom too, with 2 sinks. The location was just what we wanted - there was enough going on in the immediate vicinity to entertain ourselves(restaurants, bars, cafes and a few shops), it is very close to Villiers station (which is on two metro lines) which made it easy and quick to get anywhere we wanted, and also within walking distance of areas such as Opera and the Louvre etc. Would definitely return if I'm in Paris again

Lovely boutique hotel, with fantastic service.”
We stayed four nights at the Le Relais Monceau Hotel in Paris. We found the Boutique Hotel quite intimate and very comfortable, away from the hussle and bustle of larger hotels. The staff went beyond the call of duty to ensure we enjoyed our stay. They were extremely helpful with directions and other information we required. Our hotel room was small, but comfortable and very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

great stay at monceau. room was on small side but to be expected in the heart of paris. shower was a bit strange - handheld shower piece in a bath tub but nowhere to hang the shower head... made shampooing tricky!

Great location and one block from Metro Station.”
This hotel was perfect for me. It was one block from the Metro, had the best restaurants that were reasonable priced, great stores for gifts. Also, across the street from the hotel is a bakery that makes fresh baguettes every morning - they're still warm from the oven when you buy them. The hotel was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I was so happy I selected that hotel and when I visit Paris again I only want to stay there.

My experience at Le Relais Monceau”
This was my first experience to stay in this area. This place was quiet and clean. The staff were very helpful. The room size was good. The towels and the bed smelt clean. The breakfast was not average. The area is nice. There is a Grocery in front of the Relais. I tried the Shuttle to the Airport because I had a big Suitcase, and it was very convenient. The Chauffeur Jack was helpful. I will definitely stay again if got a good deal.

Fantastic Hotel”
Had a few days in Paris on holiday with a friend and we cound the hotel really charming, with quirky features and the rooms were spotlessly clean, with really delightful staff who were very helpful. It is located a few minutes from the Metro station and is really convenient to get around. I would definitely recommend this hotel and also go back there again.

We stayed the hotel with two young children and it was fantastic experience for us. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is tasty and made us feel really like home. And we usually get sandwiches from the nice bread shop cross the street for lunch or snacks, which is another great point to this hotel stay. We loved the hotel so much and almost extended our trip in Paris for more days!! We rate this hotel at 9.9 points from our overall experience. We definitely will be back. パリでは得難い上品で家庭的そして快適なホテルでした。絶対お勧めしたいホテルです。

This was a great hotel for our weekend in Paris. I don't know if the best location for seeing typical sights, but it was good for us because it was a quite neighborhood and with the great working Metro, easy to get everywhere. The hotel is beautiful inside and the rooms were clean and large by comparison. We'd stay again for sure.

Hotel is located at Peaceful and safe environment”
The hotel is located near villier station and it is very convenient to access to Paris central. In addition, we are able to walk to the major attraction point such as Eiffel Tower, museum of louvre. If you don't want to walk, you may spend about 15-20 minutes to travel by metro from the hotel. It is very convenient. However free wifi is only available in the lobby area.

Good location with excellent staffs”
I would definitely recommend this hotel. Although not well maintained, the room was simple,cosy and had a classic vintage and romantic feel, reminding occupants that its Paris. Quite ok for family travelling with kids. The location was also quite good, in a safe area close to the metro,with plenty of bakeries around, and a nearby halal food. But what really stands out was the excellent counter staffs, who were very helpful at any request and enthusiastic in giving tips and directions to make sure we had a nice Paris holiday. Do chat with them if you are staying in this hotel.. I cant recall the names, but the guy looks like a familiar actor and the young lady... well.. exceptionally lively and positive. Would definitely return for a 2nd stay.
