I was a solo traveller with my 2dogs, the dogs were made very welcome at the hotel. There were fabulous views of mont saint michel from the dining room, the staff were just lovely, I’d go back there again without hesitation

Great view from the hotel room”
The advantages of this hotel are so clear. I strongly recommend. Almost all rooms in this hotel are designed to be able to see Mont Saint-Michel. When I arrived at the hotel, the panoramic view was so fantastic that I was always happy when I stayed there. On the first and second floors, you could see the Mont Saint-Michel. It was an unforgettable experience for our family to be able to welcome the new year there in 2019. The breakfast was a simple buffet style, but the bread and the food were not well equipped so I was a little disappointed. But this does not offset the advantages of this hotel. As the closest hotel to Mont Saint-Michel, it was a very pleasant memory to walk to the Mont-Michel with my kids for a morning walk.

Amazing location with large rooms. ”
Perfect for visiting Mont St Michel as you can see all the different colours of the island over the day. Only annoyance was the access code to get to the hotel didn’t work and we had to call the hotel a few times to get a new code as they didn’t pick up. In the meantime, we had to join the traffic queue to go around the loop again to the barrier. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

I could see the great castle from the room. No other place is better than this hotel when it comes to location. But We were supposed to check in at 3pm, but we had to wait after 4pm, but still cleaning... We ate breakfast in the restaurant in the morning... Great view.. I can't forget it until I die..

Location couldn't be Better! ”
The facilities are dated, the lady at the reception desk is nice, but the dining room staffs were unkind. We did not have slippers in the room, but I found out later that the house keeping had just forgotten to leave them in my room. The breakfast is simple but their butter, cheese and bread are good, we didn't need anything else. Whatever flaws this hotel might have, their view of Mont-Saint Michel from the room balcony is soooooooooooooooooo beautiful, words aren't enough.

not worth the money”
The reception during check in was very helpful and friendly. The lady has advised us a lot on timings, food, shuttle bus arrangements etc. she was very friendly. The room is rather old and needs a make-over, bathroom equipment such as hair dryer does not work and needs replacement. The breakfast was rather small and poorly refilled, the coffee machine had some technical issues, juices were empty for rather long. English language is a problem as well. Location and view are amazing. However, the hotel is far overpriced considering that there are several other more modern hotels within very short walking distance.

Like everything else in Saint Michel, staying in Relais Saint Michel for more than 1 night is a rip off. The rooms were outdated and the heating was not working well. The restaurant offers only menus for either 30E or 40E, and the food they served is so far the worst we have tasted in the whole region. Food quality was so mediocre and my fiancee and I got a bit sick after. Never coming back again.

Terrible. Don't let the location fool you!”
Terrible hotel, extremely old without maintenance. The hotel looks deserted from outside with poor and broken hotel signage and all the garbages and dried scattered in front of the hotel - they didn't even bother to clean it. Room was old with dirty carpet; old, crude and mismatch furnitures; dirty wall; broken electricity outlet: and broken lamp. Light bulbs on each side of the bed stands were different colour - one warm white, another bright white. We paid for this premium room, 2-storey, with the view of Mont Saint Michel but the view was blocked by trees. The room came with breakfast but we decided to have it at other restaurants nearby, just had enough bad and dirty experience from this hotel.

Superb location”
Great location with superb of Mont Saint Michel from the room and from the dining room. I don't think you would get better views from any other hotel. Room (deluxe room) was huge with own balcony which was very large and could accommodate 12 people plus!. Food was good but expensive although my french fries where reheated and soggy (better ones next day on the ferry back to the UK) and the dining room could do with some fly spray as diners where bombarded with flies (not midges which where abundant outside! For a dinner bill off 125 euros (without wine) service and food should have been much better. Breakfast was average with hot sausages, eggs and tomatoes but no bacon or mushrooms, usual continental food as well but cheese was in small plastic packets. WiFi worked well without any silly codes etc and shuttle bus to the Mont Saint Michel stopped outside the hotel. Note: You have to go through a barrier to enter this part of the village and we had to phone for an access code. Parking was very easy. Would I stay there again.....Yes but I would eat elsewhere. We should have eaten on the mount as the shuttle runs every 15 mins to 1am in the morning.

Nice view, you will be stunning by the view from your balcony (not sure every room got the view). Classic layout room and bathroom. Comfortable space. The restaurant is also nice food with Mont Saint Michel view.

Good balcony with nice view and superb location”
The location is the best and the room with balcony and the view of the St. Michel is great. I brought my mom here in April for fullfilling her dream and booked this room so that she could see the view day and night and it served the purpose well. Moreover, the room is grand and bedroom is upstairs. I like that there is a bathrobe. The house slippers/shoes can be requested at the front desk. A minor con is that there were very limited coffee and tea provided ( There were only 2 each and for the price of the room, there should be more than that for guests to select or drink more than a cup of coffee for each person.) No free mini bar (if comparing to the same level/standard with other hotels).

The hotel is good in location that near the Mont. Saint Michel. Could take shuttle bus to Mont. Saint Michel outside the hotel. It's great to see the views of Mont Saint Michel at hotel room. The room is big and basic but old in decor and linen. The wifi is unstable.

The room is big and you can see the mont st michle from your room. The stop of the shuttle bus is right in front of the hotel, you can catch a bus to the mont easily whenever you want. One thing to note, there is only one convenience store nearby and the food in the restaurant of the hotel is relatively expensive.

Very disappointed trip i ever have”
i don;t want to say this but listen to me, if you have any chance not live in saint michel then don't spend a night there,we paid with this hotel and very very disappointed, all the other hotels in saint michel is about 80-120 euro which i think is the right price, le relais which can ask for such a high rate, the only reason i think is you can see saint michel from the room. but true thing is when you fall asleep, the room which is not comfutable will be the only probelm. also the restaurant open at 7:30 and when we arrive at 7:25 they are just very rude to us and ask us to go out. i don't understand why can't just let us order some drink first.very bad service.no internet in the room, you will only find signal in reception.
