The location is perfect, near old temples, the main old street. It's literally a 2 minute walk to a great karaoke place with a bunch of western music. The room was clean, spacious and had a nice shower. No complains.

Nice centrally located hotel with friendly staff”
The location of the Ocean Hotel is close to the city center of Magong, everything at walking distance. The harbour as well. The rooms are OK, with free WiFi. The staff is very friendly. When we left, the hotel offered us a free shuttle to the airport.

Exceptional”
Spent here a lovely few days. Our room had a nice view from out little balcony which even sported a small swing. You could take a shower and gaze out at the harbor through the floor to sealing windows. It was fun. The hotel is close to the center hubbub, but far enough that it was quiet. The breakfast buffet is Chinese style but quite good. The staff is excellent, they took care of needs, were very helpful answering any question or organizing transportation. We had a very nice time.

It's value for money at this hotel, the location is great, everything is a short distance away. Breakfast was standard Chinese fare, still acceptable. Love the helpful staff! Always smiling and greeting us when we return to the hotel!

it isn't a five star hotel by any means but the service was fantastic. we went as a group of 9 people for a friends birthday and they did everything they could to help make us comfortable. they even helped us order pizza one night. we had a problem with out flights and they helped sort us out. they had shuttles to the airport and to the ports and they knew when and where everything was happening. I loved it

A lonely holiday”
My stay at this hotel was lonely as there was not much thing I can do in Winter season. My trip to out island Chi-Men was cancelled due rough sea and shipping company stopped the schedule ship. I can only spent time to look around the local area attractions like Four eye well, the Rainbow bridge. The hotel staff told me to visit again in Summer time from April to September every year.

Great Seaside Location”
Seaside location, very helpful staff with the arrangement of island hopping to Cimei and Wangan Islands. Easy parking close by and therefore good for travelers who drive. Many seafood restaurants within 10 minutes' walk.

家族４人で２泊利用しました。突然の吉貝島へ行きたいと言ったときも全ての手配をしてもらえ大変良かったです。その他の対応もつたない中国語にも関わらず対応してもらえ良かったです。 空港送迎無料とあったけどそれは対応してもらえなかった事と、朝食メニューがほぼ同じだったのが少し残念なところでしたが、全体的には満足しています。

地方ホテル”
言語の壁でコミュニケーションが難しく感じました。日本語はほとんど通じません。空港への迎えを念のためメールで確認したにもかかわらず、通じていなかったのか迎えがなかったので、ビジターセンターでお願いして（英語が通じます）連絡をとってもらい自分たちでホテルまでいきました。無料送迎ではなくタクシーを手配してくれるということだと理解しました。

外観はちょっと古いけど中に入ると気になりません。 街の中心部から少し離れたホテルも多くありますが、まぁまぁ近いこのホテルにしてやはり良かったです。朝晩ぶらぶらするのにとても便利でした。 オーシャンビューはバスルームからも海が見えて、とても気持ちいいです。 屋上のカフェでまったり過ごしたのもいい思い出です、ぜひ行ってみて下さい。ホットコーヒーを頼んだら砂糖が入っていて（ありがち笑）甘すぎて飲めず。会計の時に「砂糖が入ってるのは慣れなくていっぱい残してごめんね」て帰ろうとしたら「もう一杯入れて部屋に届けるから」と砂糖なしをわざわざ届けてくれて台湾人の優しさに感動しました。 フロントでレンタルバイクを紹介してくれるとどこかで見かけたので聞いてみたら外国人は借りられないの一点張りで全然役に立ちませんでした。 近所にたくさんあるレンタルバイク店1軒めで「日本人だけど大丈夫？」（中国語）であっさりOKでした。（日本の免許証と中国語翻訳文は持参してます） ちなみに、Agodaで予約出来てなかったらしく予約確認書片手にスタッフ数人がやいやいやっていて不安でしたが、何とかお部屋は用意して貰えました。

Facilities are a bit old, but the service is great”
We booked a sea view room, but unfortunately the balcony was covered with protective glass in front of the harbor, otherwise it should be very beautiful. There is a swing inside the balcony, which is a very pleasant facility. But we would prefer to see the beautiful scenery of the harbor.
