Friendly, basic guesthouse”
the pop at itaewon is a nice stay. i guess you pay for location, though it wasn't that much - but it is a guesthouse. like i said, the location is good, but it's a little hard to find, tucked back in some small streets with shops - the directions given didn't tell us which subway exit to take so we were walking in the wrong direction for a bit before we turned around. the place itself is nice. nothing over the top, but very friendly and clean. they provide you with eggs, bread, milk and juice to make your own breakfast (included). the room we had was simple and nice. like most places in korea, it's not very sound proof so if you're unfortunate enough to have a late night group staying next to you, you may be woken up - but, as i recommend with any hostel/guesthouse, bring your earplugs. all in all, a good place. i would recommend it mostly because it's located not far from the subway stop and just off of itaewon street towards the beginning.

Great Guesthouse”
Like many other reviews for this guesthouse, I found the location after about an hour of going in circles. A big part of that, however, is my own stubbornness and confidence that I can find anything. Once I went back to the Agoda site and viewed the hostel profile, the picture helped me realize that I was standing right in front of the place. There are actually 2 entrances. My experience once there, was very pleasant and a good value. This guesthouse is actually in a pretty convenient location if you want to shop in Itaewon, especially for books, as "What the Book?" is right across the street. The dorm-style room I stayed in was clean with fresh towels and bedding. It had its own small bathroom with a hot shower. You had to pay extra to use the big lockers in the hall, which is a feature sometimes included in other similar guesthouses. The staff was pleasant enough and the common area was big and comfortable. The free WiFi signal was strong, too. Overall, I recommend this guesthouse and would gladly stay there again!

Very friendly staff , good location”
Pros- location, right in middle of Itaewon and v close to train and bus stops - Staff very friendly and helpful - Room was very warm in the middle of winter which was impressive , and room itself v clean Cons - shower runs cold for long time in winter ( but this might be expected generally in Seoul ) - entrance to the guesthouse was very dirty which is surprising as rest of space seemed v clean - to bear in mind, reception and check in are only available from 10am- 10pm while I was there so plan your trip accordingly Overall would recommend , not luxury but value for money and with friendly staff.

Simple Guesthouse in the Heart of Itaewon”
This guesthouse is located just off the main road in Itaewon. The Location is amazing as it is close to a subway and the main road in Itaewon. It is not in a noisy area of Itaewon making the stay even more pleasant. The rooms are simple and you get basic amenities. The staff are very helpful. The bathroom needs some improvement and don't expect a housekeeping service. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this guesthouse and will probably return. Note: The guesthouse isn't too difficult to find. Go out of exit 3 at Noksapyeong Station. Cross the main road. Veer to the right and take the first left down an alley. It is at the end of the alley.

pop at itaewon guesthouse is within walking distance to the major shopping areas in itaewon as well as the hotspots for nightlife. the rooms are always tidy and the staff very friendly and helpful. it can be noisy sometimes as most people stay at pop when they go clubbing in iteawon.

Relax in the middle of chaos”
This was my second visit here and I had a very nice stay. The staff was extremely gracious, friendly, and attentive. Despite the location right in the middle of loud and active Itaewon, Pop is relatively quiet and relaxing. I slept right up until check out before realizing how late it was!!

Perfect location and great customer services. ”
it'll be short. i was surprised of how clean was everything, the customer services, owner speaks really good english, he will assist you or give you travel tips and was really professional . there are different rooms options, and the bathroom is korean style, toilet and shower all together. for that price i would have never expected such a good service. subway is 2 minutes by walking and location, the beginning of itaewon and also bus connections with gangnam takes about 10/15 minutes. breakfast is also included. i'll be back there 100%. thank you very much!

great location, great staff and nice atmosphere”
perfect for visiting one of the youngest and trendiest areas of seoul. the guesthouse is a little bit hidden, but probably this is better on a side. few meters from nice cafes, art gallery, bars, small boutiques and shopping streets. ideal position for nightlife, 10 mins walk distance from the gay area with all the bars and clubs. cause i live in china, this guesthouse seems to me as extremely clean, but this can be just my perception

Cheap and cheerful in a great location! ”
We had to stay in Seoul overnight, after seeing a concert in Itaewon. This was the absolute perfect location for that. Because we were so late they had closed their office when we got there, so the staff left us a note on the door with out room code. The downside are that the room was a little grubby and the bathroom didn't smell great. It didn't quite look how the photos suggested. But if you need somewhere just to catch a few hours sleep then it's perfectly fine.

Perfect Location for Going Around Itaewon, Much Quieter and Smaller than Others”
In the area many guesthouses fill on weekends. Pop usually has some beds available. It will be easier to sleep at night than at bigger places. One minute walk to Noksapyung Station or Starbucks and McDonald's.

A bit Difficult to Find but worth it!”
It was a bit hard to find, with a very narrow staircase. But it was so worth it, the location is not far from Mcdonalds in a narrow alley way close to everything in Itaewon. Nice down comforters are provided as well as other bedding. The interior is nothing fancy and it makes it look and feel like you are staying in an older family members guest bedroom. The dorm room was shared with 8 people to a room , very small space and only one bathroom. The private double was much more comfortable.

For budget and MUSLIM traveller, the affordable and great guesthouse to be choose. Its occupy you a kitchen for cook a HALAL food so dont bother to bring a lot of our country food. They have a great staff that kindly guide you and such a good friend of mine. love you booma!!!!. Fast Internet and comfortable room. I suggest u guys directly made a reservation through mail or their website for cheaper price rather than agoda. Do search the location before check in caused u might lose or trap in the same area.

Good place with Very Good Location”
The mixed dorm is a lot like dorms at other hostels but the girl's dorm is nicer. There is more space for you and your things. I think the staff needs to clean the rooms better including under the beds. Also make sure there is enough coffee and clean cups for people to have. Many guests don't understand how to check out in the morning and try to call the phone number on the door. Maybe posting a sign would help. Also a sign on the refrigerator telling guests the food belongs to other people would help. The common room is nice and there is a TV and computer. Sometimes you share the room with company workers who use another room as an office. There is no kitchen but there was one before. The staff could remove the photos of the kitchen from the booking sites. The AC works well and the beds are more comfortable than similar places. The weekend and high season price is higher than other places but it's worth it for more space and a comfortable bed.

Comfortable, homey, sufficient. ”
It was a nice hostel, in a nice spot in Itaewon. It was cheap and the beds were comfy, the breakfast is a bit of a fail, but we were planning on going out for brunch anyway. It's a tad difficult to find, it could do with some proper signage. We found it by accident after searching for a while.

Nice boutique Hotel close to the center of Itaewon”
Definitely wise to make sure you know where this place is before you arrive. When you do find it, the location is great, a two minute walk to Itaewons main street. Operator speaks good English and there are great food and entertainment options in the vicinity.

Awesome hostel and great location ”
I arrived in Itaewon late on Friday night and couldn't find the hostel, but the staff came to find me and carried my case for me. The hostel was clean and has a great location, and an en suite bathroom with each dorm. I would love to stay here again.

If you are really interested in a good night life with a western tempo, this is the area to be in. Itaewon has great food and energy about it. The hostel also sits right in the heart of this area. The facility is also great.

The breakfast was enough. You get what you pay. The location was good in terms of proximity to transpo, restaurants and embassies but it's not easy to find it. I was alone in the mixed dormitory room so it was quiet. I might stay there again if I need a place to stay in Itaewon. Though it was my first time to spend a night in Itaewon so I might try another place as well.
