The experience started with our arrival and did not stop until our departure. We visited numerous cities in Rajasthan during our trip but we unanimously agree the The Fairmont Jaipur was an exceptional property. Their staff was a delight, they were very courteous, attentive and helpful. Their rooms were *chef's kiss*! They reflect the architecture of the region but do not compromise on space or luxury. The room was very spacious and the washroom was fantastic. The food was very good. The breakfast buffet gave us so many choices and it was an international buffet, which meant that the kids always found something to their liking. The property was not noisy, it was extremely clean! We loved it and would love to come back.

Well where can i start, Staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. Property is huge and looks like a castle and its away from hustle bustle of the cities. We got an amazing welcome from the staff and Specially staff member Parvesh was awesome. Chef cooked special sweets for us twice in a day and that was great, Breakfast was delicious as well and had bunch of options in it. Night time property looks really nice and they organised special dance show as well which we missed. Overall Its one of the best places that we stayed in the whole Rajasthan and definitely No. 1 in Jaisalmer and we wish to come back soon.

(Use of thicker pure white marble slab/ blocks would have multiplied its lustre & glory many times. Undersized slabs have cracked at various places). 3) Team Leader GM, Mr.Chacko, motivates & inspires his entire team from the front with personal supervision. 4) F&B T/L, Exec Chef Mr. Harish with Pankaj and Gobing, cater to all tastes & are creative in culinary excellence for any special dietary needs & desires. 5) Mr. Mukesh Singh, Manek Singh, Subhash, Rajat and others serve the guests with smiles to ensure their satisfaction. 6) Vandana, Shivani, Puja, Suman, Harshit, Sumit & Suryakant, Sonali Sinha, SurajMal (Jat & Meena) were always smiling and caring. Shaded parking is a must ASAP.

Alsisar Haveli is a fantastic boutique hotel nestled in the old city of Jaipur. I travelled with my friend for a weekend in August and we were completely charmed by the quaint haveli. Perhaps it is one of the places where everything comes together – great service, brilliant hospitality and an ambience that is unmatchable. Being a vegetarian, food is always a tricky part for me. However, the Paneer Butter Masala was so delicious that I over-ate. It was a similar story with my friend who munched on Rajasthani chicken. One must also try Laal Maas and Jangali Maas of Alsisar Haveli. Kudos to Amar Singh ji for an amazing dining experience. Our room (no. 216) was big and beautifully furnished. It had windows on either side of the room and was simply beautiful. The hotel staff is very courteous. They kept us pampered by asking at regular intervals if anything is required. The ambience of Alsisar Haveli is unparallel. For all the time we were there, we didn’t step outside the hotel at all. Everything was provided to us in the hotel. It was a great way to unwind and relax. And at the same time experience true Rajput hospitality. Thank you Alsisar Haveli for one of the best holidays.

Stayed for 2 nights to complete a trip of Rajasthan. Perfect to recover from the hustle and bustle of India and prepare for work once again! Great location about 30mins from Jaipur centre but a world away in terms of everything else. Fastastic bungalows with all the mod cons. Service was impeccable. Food was brilliant with the chef visiting us daily to tailor our dinner choices. Great value spa treatments too with a skillful team of therapists on site.

Our stay at the Samode Haveli was a wonderful surprise. When we arrived, we couldnt get an early check in but on our return we were upgraded to the best room in the Hotel. The room was a magical experience and at first resembles a room of mirrors and arches. We ended up inviting friends over to eat a fabulous dinner in the room. The staff were more than helpful and the grounds have a wonderful old world character. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Best hotel we stayed at in India. This whole place was just amazing. Staff were friendly and very helpful. They were happy to help and were always smiling, even when we had dinner by the lake at 1010pm and they closed at 10.30pm. Hotel was by the lake, the view was breathtaking. Room was amazing to stay in, i didn't want to leave. Was a shame we only did one night stop over, if we knew earlier that there was much more to see in Udaipur, we wouldve stayed here for 2 nights instead of the one, and spent 1 night in Jaipur instead. Will definitely be staying here again if we're back in Udaipur.

I took a 9 days road trip to Rajasthan and my last stop in Rajasthan was Jaipur. To relax after 7 days from tough trip, I wanted to stay at a luxurious place but didn't want to pay for 5 star hotel. One of friend recommended Shahpura House and I can't thank him enough. This is a perfect blend of old and new/modern. More than 100 years old building but renovated, very bright and royal common areas and rooms but nice continental food (all day), Swimming pool and royal baggis (horse carriage) next to each other. Everything about this place is beautiful, convenient and very well behaved staff. You will feel like a royal family and surely be treated like one. Full marks and as Arnold said "I ll be back"

- Fantastic Hotel in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is an Heritage Hotel and is very beautiful and well kept. The hotel staff were very friendly. Very helpful with booking a driver so that we could do some sight-seeing (Amber Fort, City Palace, Pink Palace and industrial area in Jaipur where we went to learn more about the art of block-printing) Restaurant is located on top of the roof of the hotel and every night there is a live band (Rajasthan traditional), food was good, not excellent. Location of the hotel is in a quiet residential area and it is easy to either hire a taxi, rickshaw or tuktuk near the hotel.

I love that the hotel was relatively quiet when we booked in during the shoulder season. Having read the reviews, I booked a terrace suite with a lakeside view. This was worth every cent as we spent most of our free time lounging on the terrace as we watched the sun set on the lake and had breakfast on the balcony, enjoying the early morning calm. The staff are amazing and there's nothing they could not accommodate for us. Go to the inhouse bar and chat to the bartender who has worked there for more than 30 years. He has met some famous people in his time :)

It was one of the best hotel on all parameters. However, I had one bad experience. I booked through Agoda and paid money in advance. I have a 7 years old son. I paid money for his extra bed. while checking in, I was told that if I don't take extra bed, I don't have bear that extra cost. I opt for that. But to my surprise, the hotel didn't make any adjustments on bed charges. I end up paying for the service which I didn't get. so hotel didn't provide extra bed, but charged for that and refused to adjust when settling my account. I felt cheated.

This was my second time in Clarks Amer and I loved it even more than the first . The place has all the modern amenities including a large gym but still maintains that old world charm so you feel like you are in Rajasthan not some new plastic city :) I got a little adventurous with the street food and paid the price by being bed-ridden for a day but was healed as much by medicine as the kindness of the staff. Especially Ms. Deepa at reception was gentle and full of kindness and the epitome of hospitality. Mr. Pramod and Ms. Anusha were other staff members I would call out for their hospitality. Definitely plan to be back here.

Chunda Palace is a modern building decorated in Indian style (it is not a Heritage hotel). It is situated in a street west from Lake Pichola, not close the the lake shore, and far from Udaipur City Palace. It has no gardens, and it is closely surrounded by other buildings, except in the side facing the gardens of the neighboring hotel Oberoi Vilas. The rooms are large and confortable, and most of them are well decorated in Indian style, although some seem not to be completely furnished or decorated. The restaurant is in the upper floor, and from the rooftop terrace there is a nice view (although distant) of Lake Pichola and Udaipur City Palace. Buffet breakfast (included in our rate) and Reataurant are OK for Indian standars, although the Restaurant is too expensive. The hotel personel was always very friendly and efficient. In general, I think that Chunda Palñace is a good hotel, assuming its not perfect location. The real problem is the price of the room, which I think was way too high for the characteristics of the hotel, and compared to other hotels through Rajasthan, although hotel prices in Udaipur at Christmas were very high in general.

the best hotel that we stayed during our 11 days holiday in rajasthan, delhi and agra. umaid mahal was nothing like any other hotel in india that claimed their 3 stars rating despite of their lack of service and features. umaid mahal is indeed the real 3-star hotel !!! the room is big and very very clean. the interior of the rooms were mostly marble and nicely decorated. the bathroom was exceptionally well, equipped with clean shower, clean floor, hair dryer and hot water !!! they even have a swimming pool !! the location is very close to jaipur train station too. the wifi is working well though you need to ask the password in the reeption lobby. they will give you hourly access but i guess they will give you the new one for free if it's expired. definitely recommended !!!!

Visited this awesome property for the 4th time and they always up the standard of there service and product quality. The warmth we felt was over the top and the hotel team members made our stay unforgettable, as I will be leaving Jaipur forever so I picked this hotel for my final few nights and they treated me the way I was expecting or I must say it was more than my expectations. The food and beverage team did superb job to please our pallet and carried out our demands. Special thanks to the chef incharge at the morning breakfast he made the best stuffed paratha I ever had in my life and the service team went ahead and provided us with out of the buffet options, And yes the lime soda which I got on the last night was mind blowing, everyone should try that. The housekeeping is doing magic service it seems like that to me, coz every time when we leave our room (mostly in pathetic condition) we get the room ready in crisp condition when we get back.

we were 2 families of total 7 persons, with one boy 8 year old. the stay was booked under the non-refundable last minute rates. per room, it was an amazing bargain. we took 3 rooms. very centralized hotel. the largest mega mall of jaipur, ttriton mall, is just 5 minutes away. bus station, railway station also just 5 minutes. the main industrial areas also pretty near. own large shopping arcade, with a cafe coffee day outlet. the food is exceptionally good. the service was good. we had dinner at the chinese restaurant. a tad expensive, but good food. the service of wine was the best i've seen in hotels across the world. i've never seen chilled wine glasses and the type of service they gave, even at some of the far better and costly properties. kudos!! the service is fast and courteous! all pros no cons!! not possible!! all in all a nice experience. entry level / technically a 5star hotel, due to the amenities.

It was a dream stay come true.. Really felt very privileged with the friendly service, accommodation , food and everything that comes with it. An excellent getaway and beautiful experience. The grandeur of the place leaves one spell bound. The place should be called "Nahargarh Palace Hotel" or better just "Nahargarh Palace" as it is so. Salute to the upkeep and beauty of the place which makes one feel like a prince or king ! Listening to the musician who plays "Sarangi" throughout the day starting early morning was such a blissful experience. This is a "Not to miss" experience. The best part was I just happened to(by accident) meet the owners (Thakur Gaj Singh Alsisar and Thakurayen) of the palace and both were so very kind and hospitable speacially Thakurayeen. Kudos to them for such a beautiful property .. maintained in such a heavenly manner as Thakur sahab said "Lot's of beautiful thoughts have gone in.. so got to be beautiful"! It was privilege and honor to meet them. Do not expect this..they seldom are there.

A truly magnificent hotel with all the trappings of an international 5 star with An Indian heritage. Try and book a terrace room , nothing quite like sitting at dusk and watching the sunset ( tip, take mosquito repellant ) The interior fit out of the terrace rooms is cleverly done, three glazed living doors conceal all the bags and personal junk in the dressing room, ditto for the separate bath and again for the wash areas A great Bose sound dock to rock the room or waft santo or music onto the terrace Breakfast on the main terrace is a great option with views across the lake Arrive by boat and receive a grand entrance treat. But also escape the confines of the beautifully managed grounds to the back gate and wander down to the lake edge adjacent an old building and shrine and watch people wash and pray at dawn.breathtaking!

We really enjoyed the Vimal Heritage Hotel and would definitely stay there again if in Jaipur in the future. The staff are helpful and friendly. The owners are happy to assist in any way possible, it feels like home! We found are room to be very comfortable with a large King size bed and decent size bathroom, very good value for money. The hotel is on a suburban back street so relatively quiet or India!. The decor is beautiful, in traditional Rajasthan style. We were very pleased to see that the Hotel was exactly as the pictures on Agoda, so no surprises. Thanks to all the the reviews as this helped the decision to stay there. If you are in Jaipur this Hotel is centrally located, affordable and accommodating.

.We stayed at Ananta Udaipur for 3 nights. Udaipur was my second stop in my Rajasthan trip, I was a bit apprehensive initially as this is not a popular chain as the Marriott’s, Taj etc. All my fears were gone from the moment I stepped into the resort. It’s a beautiful, well maintained resort with spectacular views of the Aravalli mountains. The resort itself is on a hill. Believe me, you can’t take your eyes off the views and you just won’t get enough. They have cars (serving as buggies) to take you around the resort. The rooms are exactly as in the pictures, spacious, neat, well maintained and large with an open shower space (for those Interested). The surprise was in the evenings where there’s live performance of singers...Bollywood and Rajasthani folk music. Breakfast spread was large and the food options plentiful. The only thing was the price of the food....it was super pricey. The restaurant staff (special mention Devanshu) were very courteous, prompt in service and had the att

The choices for hotels are vast in Jaipur. Since this was our first trip, with a bit trepidation, I initially was looking at the familiar 5-star international hotels. However, I knew to truly learn about a country, one has to experience it and to experience it means to spend most of your time outside the confines of your hotel room. With that logic firmly in place, I cross referenced travel guides like Travel Advisor, Lonely Planet, Fodor’s and Conde Naste Traveller. The verdict? I chose the Palace Diggi Hotel and secured my reservations through Agoda. Why? Aside from Oprah staying here, the reviews were consistently good, and the pictures showed a safe and green environment for my children. I selected the Courtyard Suite and was not disappointed. Room 406 is the best because it faces the morning sun and has a huge courtyard. Wilson is the first person you will meet when checking in. He is very helpful and made our first visit to India memorable. Thank You Wilson!

What an amazing hotel. Fantastic location, well appointed, huge rooms. The restaurant served some of the best hotel food we had on this trip. The staff went out of their way to help fix our car when we had a puncture, and we couldn't have asked for more. The hotel aslo arranged a fantastic safari, and yes, we did see a tiger! I would highly recommend this property and would gladly return it I pass by Ranthambhore again.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. I booked my room through Agoda and during the reservation process I received a prompt offering a room upgrade. Am I glad I accepted the offer. My room was very large, 20 ft. (+/-) ceilings, marble floors, and a queen size canopy bed. The furnishings were of an antique style. My only regret, I was traveling alone. The hotel grounds are very nice and with a lot of trees. The hotel is set back away from the main road. This offered a more serene environment away from the sounds of the city. I can't say enough about the staff. They were most accommodating and always willing to please. Having stayed at many 5 star hotels, this property in many ways is on par. There are three restaurants; a breakfast room, outdoor restaurant, and a restaurant not owned by the hotel. The separately owned restaurant offers great outdoor/indoor dining and a wonderful bar. Honestly, I can't say enough about my experience at Hotel Narain Niwas.
