It was first class, the receptionist was so helpful and accommodating, we will definately be returning. Ideal for the port.

I stayed in room 341 which I highly recommend (romantic imo, so great for couples); it probably has the best view on the cathedral and a large bathroom. It is the top corner room in the building, last floor by stairs. Very good quality place, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was great, with lots of choice.

Not a place for a romantic weekend, but great for a business traveler to stay overnight or for travelers on the go. Rooms are quite small, but very efficient and clean. We even had a small kitchen.

Great value, room basic but linen spotless. Excellent location, parking discount for the underground parking very good but bit of a problem if you have a lot of luggage as parking close to hotel very difficult. However as the location is so central to be expected.

We use this as a stopover to our holiday home several times a year. It accepts our two dogs and is just off the motorway so while not scenic is so convenient and next to a handful of good places to eat and drink. Also has kettle in room - a bonus these days.

The hotel is just superb. The construction is several centuries old (15 or 16th I guess). It's located just above one of the best restaurant in town. You don't have to walk to get there ! Bath/shower old and peculiar with small tub and sink bowl broken

The hotel location is excellent - along hill slope that you can either walk to the beach or enjoy seaview at a higher level easily. Restaurant is nice with good food at reasonable price. The hotel environment is quiet and makes people feel relaxed. Parking lot is spacious. Staff can speak fluent English and very helpful.

we stayed in the hotel for 5 nights with a 2 month old baby. the room was perfect, a travel cot was supplied. we were given a room that way remote from the others in case the baby wakes un in the night. we received a very warm welcome. the hotel is nicely located 1 min walking distance from the cathedral. really cheap, but excellent value!

No help from staff for using printer/computer available for customer use (the printer had a paper jam which the staff refused to look at). Staff were friendly, polite, but not helpful.

Beware tourist tax! I booked online and the booking said all taxes included, when I checked out, they wanted to take tourist tax from me! Think this should be made clear when booking. Other than that, a fantastic stay and I couldn't fault it.

We stayed at this Ibis budget and found it to be a comfortable stopover. Breakfast was ample and we shared the experience with a number of Gendarmes who were staying there also. The good thing of this hotel is free private parking but the hotel was old furnished and furniture was worn out. Cleanliness of room should be improved. Not recommend if you plan to stay more than 1 night.

Small room but very clean and comfortable. Avoid the local sushi restaurant about 2 km from hotel, worst meal ever and rip off price.

We felt almost at home as the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location. We had everything we needed from gluten free bread to magazines to read and even borrowed a screwdriver! We will definitively come back.

Perfectly reasonable hotel in need of a makeover. No frills but bed for the night. The town on the other hand is well worth a visit. Almost glad I missed my ferry and spent the day here!

This hotel is great value for money. It is clean, has a good breakfast and is walking distance to the main tourist attractions.

Hotel very run down in corridors and bedrooms. Ok, my room had a balcony but the traffic noise made open windows impossible. Please note Rouen is undergoing major road and building reconstruction which is causing great traffic upheaval, July 2012.
