Uttar Pradesh State hotels & accommodations

We booked 3 nights here at the end of a month in India for a bit of luxury and it definitely delivered. The staff are wonderful, so efficient, friendly and polite- nothing is to much for them. Our room came with an excellent complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, fruit platter, mini bar and tea and coffee room service for each day of our stay- lots of extra perks fo...

This is one of the nearest hotel to Taj Mahal with a slow walking of 20mins. It also provides half hr briefing of the history of Taj Mahal complimentary (Thumbs Up). The restaurant is one of the best restaurant I've had in this India trip of mine with their friendly & attentive staffs at their restaurants (Double Thumbs Up for the restaurant's staffs). Good breakfast w...

A stunning hotel to arrive to in India. The lobby entrance is so grand and gives an amazing vibe for your stay in Agra. We arrived at 4am in the morning. It’s such a shame that staff were incredible and painfully slow to check in, get our luggage to our room and an extra bed. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in India. Umar was so attentive to checking on u...

We stayed here for 2 night and it was great. When we booked a hotel, we booked Deluxe Room but when we check in they upgrade us to Super Deluxe Room. But this room is on underground floor and we feel a bit uncomfortable because it didn't have a window. If you don't like this feeling don't forget to request high floor. Overall, the room is good. It's clean and spacious...

If you want the best location, clean, sweet charm with great service... this is the place. Right on the Ganges, where you feel the spirit of the river and can walk with the amazing people who are here in the holiest city in India. Great little riverside outdoor restaurant. Was travelling in India for 2 weeks, stayed in a few 5 star hotels - this is not a 5 star, but...

I was travelling with my elderly parents, best location in Varanasi. Clean room, friendly staff and delicious food. Overall it was a great stay. Highly recommend. Only down side was when asked for bill at the checkout I was not given one, instead I was told since I booked through online travel agent (OTA) and I will get bill from them. I know for the fact the OTA do no...

I really love this place. Firstly, this hotel provided the best internet connection I've had throughout my trip in different cities in India. I don't know if it is because the WiFi modem is stuck to the wall right outside my room, but I was grateful to be able to update my whereabout for my parents who're always worried whenever I'm alone on the road. The next best ...

Nothing stirs up Lucknow nostalgia as Hazrat Ganj and nothing comes close in Hazrat Ganj to a fine hotel and good food than Clarks - my paternal side use to hang out there for beer (and more) The place still has a charm which not many 4* hotels of its time retain - always good for the top floor dining - staying in or not

This hotel is best in terms of value for money. The breakfast service (rendezvous) is the best in class and can match any known 5 star. The Glassy restaurant also great in multi cuisine offerings. The rooms are big and comfy and the staff is everyready to help. Great place to live and it is 5 minutes from Taj Mahal. I will recommend anybody who would like stay 5 star b...

The hotel has two blocks - new and old. All the photos in website are featuring rooms in new block. When I arrived, standard room that I've booked is already full and the management wanted to give me the standard room in the old block which is smaller and not as in the featured room from website. However, after some discussion, they upgraded my room to Club with no ext...

Hotel Heritage Inn was as welcoming as possible, the staff was eager to help and we had a wonderful time with their guide, Manogh. Manogh was attentive and very thorough with his explainations about the city and its way of life. I personally recommend you ask for him, if you need a guide. We were a small group of 4 people. I must say that, one evening, the head recep...

This hotel has an Indian maharaja feel which commences upon entry where you are greeted by the staff and offered a mocktail. The service was excellent and they have a state of the art gym, sauna and spa. They also have a large pool. Unfortunately I'm not sure how many people take advantage of these facilities due to being out all day to visit the Taj Mahal or Agra fort...

After traveling a few days in north India, this is the hotel we needed for a nice break. This hotel is the best one we've stayed during our one week travel in India. The room is spacious, bed is very comfy, bathroom is good size. Hotel staff are being very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended!

Ptos: 1. well constructed hotel with nicely furnished rooms. 2. I booked a triple room and it was just perfect for my family. 3. Food was amazingly tasty and consistent over my 4 nights stay. Commendable. 4. Service was prompt and proper. Very courteous. Cons: distance to Ghats is 4 to 5 kms. However, hiring tik tok or a autorikshaw is simple and cheap (say rs. 10...

The location is good. Property is new and well maintained. Rooms are spacious. Furnishing/ upholstery is new and nice. Bathroom is really big- Needs a door in the shower compartment to avoid splashing of water. I requested late checkout and i got it. Dampness is felt in the common passage and irresponsible guests might have smoked in the room. Suggest use of Dehumidif...

It was an excellent, wonderful and unforgettable experience during our (me and my wife) stay at Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow. The location, service, facilities, cleanliness, staff's service, amenities, food and room are excellent. The overall services and facilities are excellent. We enjoyed our stay at Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow. It is full worthy for the value of money. ...

This hotel came as a very pleasant surprise. This recently renovated hotel retains a lot of it's 1950s character, in a building that's over 300 years old. Honestly, it looks a lot better in person than it does in the photos. We were both completely surprised by the character and charm of this hotel. The room was smaller but very cozy and quite pretty with very high cei...

This hotel under the leadership of Mr Lokesh Kumar Upadhya provided my wife and me with every imaginable comfort and courtesy during our 3 day stay there while visiting the TAJ Mahal .. A very clean hotel with quality food and attentive staff who goes the extra mile for you . We would like to thank Rahul amongst the restaurant staff and Prithi , of the guest services ...

I stayed in Varanasi for 3 nights as a first time solo traveller in India. The hotel is in a great location, less than 5 min walk to ghats by the river. I've got an upgrade to a room with a terrace, which was fantastic, as lets you enjoy a great view and some extra space. The hotel has been refurbished, room was very clean, spacious, bathroom was good. There is a resta...

Pros; Good location, walking distance to the best things in Kasi, by the bank of Ganges, restaurant with Ganges view and excellent food, near to river boat ride, Ganga prayers, Ganga Arti, Main temples - Viswanath, Visalakshi and Annaporna. Inside shopping area. Best is the attitude of the staff and management, especially Mr.Munna, one of the best and helpfull human b...

The Ramada was a very interesting stay...i had some important family business I was attending to.and they went out of their way to be helpful and get me everything I needed and provided a wonderful hotel English speaking driver/car to take me to a destination 3 hours away. this is the best value for money out of all the hotels that we stayed (we stayed in 4 hotels in total) in india. we had breakfast and dinner in the rate, and our room comes with a large balcony that connects with our friend’s room. there are english novels that you can borrow too as bedtime reading from their library. breakfast and dinner were excellent. surprised its...

The staff here were brilliant. Very professional and obviously well trained on how to behave with guests. I cannot praise them enough from the reception to the restaurant to the bell boys. The rooms were clean and best of all the hotel is just 2km from the Taj Mahal. Ask for Tuk Tuk driver Raju just outside the hotel compound and he will take you to the Taj Mahal for ...

Thousand percent believable please Actually I lift huge money in hotel room I forgot to lock my suitcase and I went I give the room key to them even room cleaning people came and cleaned money was in open place where they can see they didn’t even touch a single penny Best restaurant also cleaners each and everything is best including the price

This is probably the best property in Vrindavan to stay. The hotel is located a bit far from the crowd. Assuming, we are travelling by car so communicating to rest of the town is not a problem. This is the only option in Vrindavan if you are looking for a star rated hotel to have a descent facilities. We didnt expect much in such places, however we are not disapointed...

This is th second time I stayed there with my family, The best part of this hotel is the facilities like good restaurant, brista cafe, swimming pool n temple. The food was really tasty n prices are also very reasonable. A special thanks to Mr Rakesh n Raghav ji for providing us good hospitality n services, they both were very courteous n always ready to help us n guide...
Cheap places to stay in Uttar Pradesh State

Good and cheap place to rest, very near to the railway station and with kind people. A place where you can meet people all over the world. Best choice if you travel solo. I recommend it. I booked a private room with AC and it was all perfect. Very near of Taj Majal (You can go walking) and with a very helpful and kind owner! :)

This is the best place to stay in agra near Taj Mahal, just 1 KM form eastern gate. Clean, humble staff and the food is totally delicious. You guys have to try the fry chicken. That’s the best in town. Lucky, one of the staff help me to find transportion when i was there an when i needed to go to delhi. All is good

I stayed in this hostel for almost 10 days and it's one of the best I’ve ever been! Great vibes, amazing staff, delicious breakfast and good location (10 minutes from the Ghat in a quiet road). The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home, always smiling and willing to help; you can ask them (almost) everything and they will do their best to...

The best part of Hostale would be the host, Abhinav Chauhan *Abby is super chill, well-knowledged and helpful. The hostel is mins walk from Assi ghat, bit off center, but besides that, I was happy with everything and would be happy to recommend to anyone.

enjoyed my stay here. one of the cheapest hostels in Varanasi but still has everything you need. Comfortable bed, shower, WiFi. one of the staff organised a boat tour in the morning with another guest which was very enjoyable and better price than at the Ghats itself. very close to assi ghat and a lot of food stalls, cafes, fruits and vegetables vendors nearby. would d...

We only stayed for a couple of hours but the check in and check out were a breeze. The room was spacious ( we booked a private room ) but the toilet needs some renovation and cleaning. The fixtures were very old and dirty. Other than that, we had a sweet quick stay.

I honestly enjoyed my stay here in Moustache! I met the most amazing people and had one of the best New Years eve celebration with the people in the hostel. The hostel made my memory of Varanasi 10 times more amazing and made it hard for me to leave! 😍 Massive shoutout to Saurav who was an amazing host and genuinely one of the coolest I've met ❤️

Get to this place was the perfect start to my solo travelling. I came with many ideas on my mind, many were not positive, I been told many crazy stuff about woman travelling alone in this crazy place named India.Being here changed my perspective, 1st of all because of the team, they are very friendly, and with predisposition for help you in everything you need / 2nd th...

We enjoyed our stay at the Pyrenees Homestay, the owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming and helped to organise a car for a day trip and a rickshaw for a day, there was no pressure to book through them, the price was competitive and the people he arranged for us were brilliant. The food on the roof terrace was delicious with views of the Taj in the distance. The ...

Bliss locates near Assi Ghat and hides in a quiet and small alley. One could easily reach the ghats and river and also have some calm rest from the hustle and bustle of the town. Airport transportation, currency exchange and walk tours are available with reasonable prices. Helpful and friendly owner and staff. Recommend!

The guesthouse is cheap and comfortable and the location is good, very close to the main Ghat. The rooftop cafe is a nice place to relax and has great views. Beware of fake guesthouses using the same name, the real Shanti is located near Manikarnika Ghat, turn left at underground cafe and Shanti is just up the stairs on your left.

You’ve to wash your own dishes even for the included breakfast. As breakfast is included service it shouldn’t be done (in my opinion). Location is nearby Assi ghat. But again its very much inward and deep inside streets. It took around 15-20 minutes for me to figure out when I’m from Uttar Pradesh,India itself. But overall it’s a great budget option.

We are two students, first time visitors to India. Picked up at the airport at 4 am in the morning. The owner Raj is extremely nice and helpful. Arranged private car so we could design our own tour day. Recommend you bring a guidebook with pictures so you can show and tell where you want to go. Our driver Gautama (?) was a very positive young fellow, speaks enough engl...

Well,I stayed here for three days during my December trip last year. To my amazement, I was taken care of in terms of my safety, my food & was provided a cosy reasonable room during my stay as advertised online. No any hidden agenda by offering such a low rate room, trust me. In fact, the hotel has its own tour activities but optional for the patrons. I am very impress...

I stay for 2 nights in GoStops hostel in Agra. This hostel is really awesome. The room is very good , The bed is very comfortable plus Air Conditioning s very cool. I was really enjoying stay in this hostel. My sleep was very tight and comfortable. The Room and Toilet are very clean because there is always staff clean every room and toilet regularly. We also get for f...

Me and my Girlfriend had the most amazing time in Varanasi. This hostel is brilliant value for money with a lovely rooftop hangout spot located brilliantly near to assi Ghat. It really was one of our favourite hostels. The best thing about it is the hosts. In particular Navi was brilliant, a very kind and genuinely interested host. Always happy to meet our needs. When...

I arrived in the evening and what a wonderful suprise to find this nice place very close to the railway station and more quiet. Before and during my stay the staff was very helpful and friendly, it really made a difference. There is a nice little garden (with real grasse) and a small 'garden terasse' where i was even able to practice my morning yoga. The rooms are si...

The hotel was in renovation process and facility was limited but food is available at near by restos. Only 5 mins walk from Taj Mahal which was viewed from the roof top. The staff was helpful when directing the palce of interest and gave warm welcome. A travel bureau was in the hotel and good in arrange car rental.

This guesthouse hide itself in a narrow dark alley. In Varanasi you lost your way even in daytime, you will properly need someone assistant to navigate here. Location GOOD 2 minutes walk to Ganges and 4 minutes walk to Dashashwamedh Ghat (main ghat in Varanasi) to see a group of priests daily in the evening perform "Agni Pooja", room cleanliness GOOD, bathroom GOOD, go...

The Grand Imperial is located in a busy part of the city, and there is some unavoidable road noise. We were originally located right next to the front desk, nearest the road, and were kindly moved to a quieter (and bigger) room when we requested a change. However, around 9 pm the deafening drums and music started. There was an engagement party that was booked outdoo...

Good food- slightly expensive as compared to other local hotels in the same bracket. Breakfast is very good. Not too many options, but whatever is available is really good. Overall the quality of food is very good. *Air conditioner are centralized and cannot be individually controlled. Rooms are clean, decent staff, you might have to buy drinking water bottles (only ...

the stay was comfortable even with 2 three year olds. location is great and you can access any place in lucknow conveniently from here.. rooms were tidy with all amenities provided. the hotel did not have currency exchange facility but they could get it done at a fee. felt like a compact 5 star hotel. would not regret staying , especially with delicious food.

The hotel is in the cantonment area. I was told that the food is very good too. I didnt have the opportunity to taste their meals, except for the breakfast. The breakfast spread was quite well spread out with sufficient options and variety. The room was good - the usual amenities with tea/coffee maker and a hair dryer. The desk staff seemed a bit distant, but the rest ...

The hotel is a little rough around the edges and it's not the most modern but what makes this place the best is the staff. They really take care of you (calling to remind you about breakfast when they notice you missed dinner the night before) and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and safe and having a good trip. From arranging transportation to ensu...

An ultimately disappointing hotel. The rooms, location, breakfast and cleanliness are all very good, but the total lack of internet means it is not a hotel I can recommend to business travellers or leisure travellers that want to do simple things such as email back home. We stayed for 4 nights and complained about the lack of internet on 3 occasions to give the hotel...

This is the best hotel we've stayed in on our travels around India so far. We had a problem with our driver (nothing to do with the hotel) but the reception staff spent two hours sorting it out and helping us. They were amazing! Super helpful and lovely clean, comfy beds. I would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We were very happy with our cottage. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the doona was warm. The shower was hot and had strong water pressure and it was placed over a bathtub so that the water did not run on to the floor. The cottage was clean. There was no heating provided but fortunately it was not too cold. Requests such as room cleaning and bottles of water we...

Enjoyed the stay, staff were very helpful especially as Ola didn't work with UK phone number, they organised the cabs for me. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was good too. Laundry service was overpriced, so walk 400 yards around the corner to the local laundry, but other than that a great hotel

This hotel is known for its restaurant, which also does room service. Very impressed with the food, although for some reason the restaurant only wanted to serve alcohol during the afternoon and not in the evening. My room was enormous, bed was comfortable, and bathroom also large. There are supposedly Ghazals in the bar every evening, but it wasn't open the 2 ...

The stay at Hotel Grapevine in Varanasi was fantastic. The hotel is very good, good rooms, well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The food was very good too. Chef Ramakant prepared some excellent dishes- both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Even though the hotel was full as it was during the Dev Dipawali festival, yet the staf...

Hotel is saying that Agoda is doing fraud booking. They refused to give me room. They said that they have blocked on site booking then how Agoda can book. They tortured me for one full day as I had no option to cancel as you had taken 100%advance. After a lot of effort they agreed to give me a room. In my view you should blacklist this hotel. They say that they have enou...

everything about the hotel royal cliff was good for us. the rooms were lovely, the meals were great, breakfast was served promptly . one thing they need to do here is provide cold milk for cerals and coffee. they couldn't get that one right but it wasn't a big deal . every time we asked for cold milk we received a full cup rather than have it served in ajug or be...

Managers Sandeep and Abdul are extremely helpful. We were first time in Gorakhpur. It was quite late at night. We need to stay in a hotel for a few nights. We found Hotel Kama. Called the Hotel. Abdul was on duty. He was very kind to pick us up and drove us to the Hotel. Hotel has a 24 hours restaurant. Breakfast was included in the room rate. This is very good. Staff...

Just a decent hotel to stay however had difficulties at the shower were in the water was leaking outside the shower space, the staff did cleaned it however were in not able to fix a permanent solution, overall all a good 4 star stay. Reception staff was friendly in accommodating us.

Due to our own incompetence, we arrived at 4am a day early. We contacted the hotel about this mixup, and they were able to give us a room for us to collapse in with minimal agro. The hotel has beautiful colonial charm, and phenomenal service from all the staff. It was our favourite of all the hotels we stayed at in India. Thank you very much.

We opted to stay at Hotel Madin instead of staying at one of the hotels on the Ganges. It's about a half hour drive to the river (45 minutes in traffic), but we were very happy that we made the decision to stay here and would do it again. The rooms are brand new, high-quality, and gorgeous. The food, both buffet and cook-to-order are excellent. There are mosquitos in t...

Piccadilly Lucknow impressed me a lot when we reached and were welcomed in the Lucknavi (Nawabi)manner. Reception Front desk staff was very cooperative and cordial. During my two-night stay in Agra, I enjoyed the facilities and comfort of the Courtyard by Marriot Hotel, and I would stay here again if I returned and was looking for a hotel at this price point. I stated there 4 nights in this travel schedule. Moradabad is a very small city, and compare to the city it is the best hotel at the city. Everything is good there except the food. Specially the Breakfast. The good thing about the hotel is Driver accommodation is free. Hotel staffs are really nice and always with smiling face. I always got support and help from them ...

Located on the hotel street of Agra. My room was on 5th floor which is can see Taj Mahal in a distanCe away. The breakfast buffet was so delicious with a lot of choice.
