Best hotels & accommodations in Okinawa Main island
yes, i'm sure there are nicer resorts in okinawa, but this hotel is stylish, modern and in a great location on the beach near American village. set near the center of the island, the location provides a good base of operations for going just about anywhere. the staff are friendly and helpful and the beach is literally just down the stairs.
My partner and I really enjoyed our stay- Upon arrival and during our stay the staff were really attentive and kind. They helped me work out the local express bus times so that we could go to Churaumi Aquarium and booked a taxi for us to get to the bus stop. Though I speak a little Japanese, many of the staff speak English exceptionally well so I never felt that I cou...
We stayed for two nights at the Hotel Monterey Okinawa Spa and Resort during the Christmas holidays. The resort is located in a quiet beach area away from the hassle and bustle of Naha. Our room was spacious and clean with a spectacular view of the ocean. The room came with breakfast and the hotel offered two options: buffet or Japanese. The buffet breakfast was good...
This is a great place to stay in Okinawa. As the hotel is located in Onna, central part of Okinawa, so we explored the northern and central part of the main island. Rooms are spacious and clean. Loved the bathroom! Highly recommend the wide range of food offered in buffet breakfast. In any case, there is not much choice for brekkie outside the hotel. Enjoyed the night...
Our stay was awesome, Rizzan hotel is highly recommended resort in okinawa . We would definitely back in this hotel, For me it's a 5 star hotel
Visited Okinawa for the first time with my wife. Had the privilege of a luxurious stay at a fraction of the cost of other resorts. Friendly staff. Great facilities. Best buffet breakfast ever. Accessibility is not too tricky once you figure out the buses, but not an issue if you rent a car or take a taxi
By far, this is the best place to be in Okinawa. The hotel is new, spacious and very clean. It captures the captivating view of the emerald beach. The food is good especially the beef they use. They have lots of restaurants. Their amenities would really make you have fun with water (pools, onsen, beach, sauna, massage). The staff are all courteous and nice. Checking-...
Beautiful facilities, amazing beach and views from the room and from almost anywhere. The rooms are really comfortable, good size, good beds, nothing bad at all. Good restaurants, but the sushi bar is exceptional, dont miss it (you have to make reservation) As a general recommendation for Okinawa, If you want to move around the island to know more than the hotel you'...
Hotel is located in the northern part of the main island of Okinawa. It is close to several beaches and restaurants, however the hotel itself has some excellent dining options as well. There is an outdoor and indoor pool, spa facilities. The friendly staff really made our stay all the more enjoyable.
In love with this stay. The room is big, and would be totally suitable for 3 adults. Hotels' toilets in Japan seems to be generally small, this is also no exception. Despite that, it has a bath tube, many amenities that you would required. People going Okinawa will usually drive, so I am not sure if it would be hard if is by public transport. Parking is free, and there...
loisir hotel is a very decent hotel with luxurious lobby and great gift store that has some of the best selection of okinawa souvenir products. the onsen was a very good part of staying at this hotel with salt spring. there were many korean tourists but mainly japanese staying at this hotel. convenient location.
1. Value for the price 2. Clean and relatively large room 3. Nice location for the north part of Okinawa (next to the beach and very near to Aquarium) 4. Staff is good and helpful, but most of them can't communicate in English 5. Local bus stop at the front of the hotel
It's a very nice hotel. The Room is clean, very comfortable, nice location for drivers. You can have a beautiful night view of Okinawa but a car is a must. They upgraded our room for our celebration which is very nice. We will definitely go again. Highly recommend for self-driving tours. This hotel is easily full because of tours, I booked the room two months before...
This is one of the best hotel/resort I have ever staied, it is really worth for money and thought the transport is a bit far from city, if I go Okinawa again, for sure will stay in this hotel again
This is my first experience to stay in a capsule style hotel like this, and this impressed me very much in a positive way. Although I was assigned on an upper bed. The staffs at the front desk are nice and helpful, there is a free welcome ice-stick that you can get at the counter as well as slipper etc. The room is super quiet and clean with a mini fridge and shoe shel...
1st time in Okinawa and this hotel has created beautiful memories for my holiday. Choose to stay in this hotel after watching a travel show in Singapore.. staying in the hotel was way better then what was shown on TV.. the services was excellent and the hotel employees made you feel at home all the time. Both the interior and exterior were well maintained and the roo...
We visited Okinawa at the beginning of Mar and stayed one night at the JAL Okuma Private Resort. Since we did not drive in Okinawa, it took us some time to get to the destination. But when we arrived, we were attracted to this beautiful resort. The nice flower decorated lobby pathway and the beach that is located right opposite to the resort. We enjoyed the resort alt...
Overall as a good hotel with great varieties of breakfast provided. Clean and spacious room with balcony. Smoker guests can use balcony. A little tricky in location-wise. It is convenient to drive everywhere in Okinawa main Island, however, it is also required to drive everytime to get to nearest convenient store/family mart. Very close to Aeon Rycom Mall,about...
The rooms were big relative to the average room I've stayed in Japan. The resort pretty much had everything, and the facilities were all nice. Lots of food options around the area if you don't want to pay for the slightly pricey restaurants in the hotel. Parking was not free. Depending on what you're looking for, Hotel Moon Beach may or may not be for you. I think the...
we stayed here for our anniversary, with a 3-month old. the rooms were immaculate - polished, smooth tile in the room and a nice, rougher tile in the bathrooms, and a deep tub. all the rooms overlook a mostly private beach. it's a pretty quiet area of the island, so there wouldn't be many people on the beach who aren't staying at the hotel, i'm guessing. we had dinner ...
My booking is 2 nos. of Standard Twin Bed room for my family (2 adult and 3 kids - age 4, 9 & 11) and requested collecting room. Hotel arranged 2 nos. of Triple Bed room for us but no collecting room provide. Finally, they re-arranged and upgrade to Junior Suite for us. Hotel location are perfect, nearby Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Ocean EXPO Park just few mintues...
The hotel is situated in the south west of Okinawa island on the hill overlooking the ocean. The room was big and spacious. The territory is big too with nice round track of 2.2 kilometers. There are te is courts and water park with slides opened in Saturday and Sunday. The most amazing thing is there onsen with non filtered water from natural spring. And it is free...
its not a 5 star hotel, but I enjoyed staying here so much I'd give it a 5 star. It's too bad we cannot post photos in the review as pictures speak more then a thousand words. When the description says the beach is 10 meters aways, it is 10 meters aways. The rooms have a balcony and to wake of each day and have a 180 degree view of the "endless sea" of clear blue wat...
Outdoor swimming pool was great, which is connected to the beach. Nearby Busena tour sites (observatory & glass boat) and diving spots offer many things to do outside resort in walking distance! Hotel staffs were wonderful... except for the weather that is beyond our control.. stayed in okinawa during typhoon but really would love to stay here again the next time I vis...
The Hilton was a spontaneous booking when we weren't satisfied with another resort in Okinawa, a larger island than expected and much more built up. Because things are so spread out, it was hard to choose a location to stay in. The American Village is right on the doorstep, with plenty of eating and drinking options. There are amusements nearby too so plenty for a fami...
Room was located in the Annex building. Facilities in the Annex main corridors and room shows it age. It's well maintained but it could really use refurbishment from carpeting, furnishings and bath facilities. Facility did not have Wifi in the room and there was no LAN connection available. Went to the restaurant in the main building. Food was reasonably priced an...
This hotel is nice - provided that you stay in the correct wing. One wing has wifi in all the rooms and is quite spacious, the other one - not so much. You are right on the beach so that is very nice, and has a spectacular view of the ocean. The biggest issue is how far away Nago is from everything. Most of the hustle and bustle of Okinawa is in Naha, which is a go...
It is a little bit of a walk to the bus stop, maybe 15 mins or so. The view was beautiful and the surrounding area has English friendly dining places (usually run by former US Marines). There is parking so I do recommend renting a car because it takes 2 hours by bus from Naha airport and to get around is difficult because it is so far away from the main area of Okinawa...
This place was exactly what we needed for exploring the north end of Okinawa. Great location, clean, and easy to get around with our rental car.
We have a great vacation here with the sea view room at this reasonable price. The room is spacious as compared to other hotel rooms in Japan. Although the rooms are dated, but they are tidy and clean. Kise Beach Palace is located near the IC exit. It is a good choice if you are planning to drive around Okinawa.
Cheapest hotels in Okinawa Main island
My second time staying here and I love it even more. The location was great and a 5 min walk to Araha beach. 15 min walk to American village. If I come back to Okinawa I'm definitely staying here for the third time. Very affordable.
This is my first experience to stay in a capsule style hotel like this, and this impressed me very much in a positive way. Although I was assigned on an upper bed. The resort was really nice. It was quiet and clean. It includes many amenities except breakfast. The staff are kind and respectful. On the site, I think it lists shuttle service but there is none. There is little to no public transportation on the island so a car goes a long way. There are cute little stores nearby but it'll always take a little bit of a walk. Overall,...
Rooms could be a little bit more well lighted. But still beautiful large room! Location close to American village. Breakfast was simple but still nice and cosy with a beautiful sea view! What i did not like was that they had to photocopy my credit card, where none of the other 4 hotels i checked-in required to do that. Till now, i still feel worried someone in Okinaw...
there is really nice decoration no matter in indoor or outdoor, it is also clean and tidy. the restaurant provided good atmosphere and food. maybe i have been there in non-peak period, there is quite silent for relaxation in vacation. however, if someone need night life in okinawa, it may not be the choice of it as it is in village area.

The location is so good for this accommodation, it is just beside the beach. The view is so beautiful and the air is so flash. It you want to see great view and have so nice environment to stay, this accommodation will be your best choice. By the way, you need to have a car to go to here, otherwise, it won't be easy for you to be here.
good location , near lawson of cheap and many items and seashore and middle of okinawa. one thing is not good that there is a sofa in the room is a little dirty for my feeling.

Good Room Good Service Good Staff Good Service mind Great Breakfast And The Best okinawa Goya Chanpuru by Restaurant Resort Hotel Buena Vista Nakijin
The staff was very helpful. They had a Chinese speaking staff at the front desk. My favorite part was their free parking lot. Their location is about 15 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station. But they have a supermarket and several convenience stores nearby. They also had a Hotto Motto within 5 mins walk. Best bento boxes in Okinawa.
Hotel location is good and have a beautiful ocean view especially the sunset scene but the room and hotel facility is quite old. Suited for a group of local student or from main island of Japan to enjoy hotel facility as part of the outing camp. Price from regular offer is too high compare to the condition of the room and hotel surrounding but while we were there we ...
inside room is simple yet very good quality. the whole area is clean and tidy. reception's english is acceptable while it is hard find a good one in okinawa. not much like to have hotel services so rent a car to have food & other daily needs may be necessary.
Great room size & view over the harbour from the balcony - perfect for watching sunsets. Friendly staff. Nice kitchen area but no crockery/cutlery/pans provided (despite asking at reception for some). Good breakfast in the bar area (need to pre-book the day before) & food/drinks ok in the evening, too. Would stay here again.
Good option if you wanna stay with family or friends in one room. A bit far away from city so u better drive. Breakfast is very good and many choices. This is my second times stay here and i found something new is......... ice-cream for breakfast........so happy hahahhaha.
The room is very clean and very close to the car parking. Due to I rental the car. The station for monorail is quite far from the hotel. The convenient store is not very far from the hotel such as Family Mart. Over all this hotel is worth for your money. And recommended
My hotel stay at Yugaf Okinawa Inn was much better than I expected. Stayed in the newer Agasi wing. The room was spacious and clean with a good view of the City park and bay. There is only a mini refrigerator in the room but an ice machine is on the 3rd floor. There was also vending machines and 3 sets of washer/dryer also on the 3rd floor. I went to the dinner buff...
This was among the least expensive hotel in the area. Pros: --Spacious room which included a balcony where you can view the ocean in some distance away. We were on the 3rd floor. The room had the basic amenities, including functioning air condition. --Nice staff --Next to a national chain restaurant, "Joyful" which had a variety of fine meals. The hotel staff also ap...
Very spacious and clean. A very comfortable resort.

Hotel staffs are really helpful. As i booked through Agoda for 2 adults & 1 child, but when i arrived hotel they only received information for 2 adults from Agoda. And if i need to check in, i need to pay for a child. So the hotel staffs called up to Agoda and talk to them about it, after dealing for an hour finally i do not need to pay anything, but check in without a...
The facility was great for family vacation, and the small kitchen was very convenient for simple cooking . The laundry facility was good for staying 3 nights, I booked 3 rooms and will go back if go to Okinawa again.
Very Nice hotel, especially the new building. Almost privat Beach with good view for ourselves. The owner is very kind and helpfull when we had trouble with the rented car. We will stay there next time and we Will also strongly recommendate the hotel to otherd

My friend and I spent wonderful time in this hotel. It's a little far from the airport and other scenic spots, but u can take the bus at the airport that can help u to reach the hotel directly. I reserve here with cheaper price than the other hotels. But it was the best of best stay. I booked an oceanview room (up to 7 person) and it was not a room, it was a house(even 2 storied). It was clean, bedding was cozy, air conditioner&heater worked well, amenities like towel, dishes are enough, and the host was good&nice. We enjoyed a bbq. (meat from mo...
Price was good, service, room were all good. Only problem is finding the hotel place is very difficult. I got a map code from google but, it was not specific. so got a tel number from google again to find the exact place. however phone number I got from google was wrong, so I went to Okinawa city hall which was far far away from this hotel. wasted a day to find this ho...
I got lucky to find this place. A lot of lodging here in Okinawa cost. This was cheaper than I imagined. Once I got to the room I was amazed at the over style, and the layout of the hotel itself. The staff was very friendly. It will cost you 500 yen a day to park but it is well worth it. There is plenty to do with in 15-20 minutes (maybe less) driving and the bea...

I think it's one of the fantastic resorts in Okinawa. It's very easy to find the hotel because of the location (next to American Village). And the size of room is much bigger than I thought. I highly recommend all of tourists this resort.
The room is spacious and clean. No bottled water was provided but there's a kettle in the room. It takes 40mins by walk to the Yomitan bus terminal. So not too convenient for people who didn't have a car. There's a convenience store and few restaurants inside the hotel which offer great food and not too pricey. The hotel breakfast is really nice with great variety of ...

It was nice spending 3 nights in Coco Garden. The location of the resort is good for you who drives in Okinawa. I do not see any public transport that can reach the resort. Staff are nice and helpful. The room is spacious and comfortable, though I think it needs some repair to the wall. Also there seem no restaurant opens at night nearby, but only a Lawson and a MacDon...
It was my first time in Okinawa. Also, Laguna Hotel is my first time. First, the bell Boy was very good and Kind. Second, the front desk was good too. I did check in very fast. Third, blackfast was good, especially, Japaness Restaurant was really good. Fourth, the room was very comfort and clean. If I go to Okinawa one more time, I will stay the Laguna ...
It's a great experience spending Christmas time at Renaissance Okinawa. The room is clean and spacious with excellent seaview. We are greeted by very polite staffs whereever we go and the staffs are trying their best to provide service to us and being helpful where possible. My husband and I enjoy the food at the Japanese restaurant a lot, it is a fantastic exp...
First of all, this hotel is the best for us among 3 hotels during our trip. Because the staff was really kind, this covers all pros. We were all satisfied and have good memory from here. Pros. Close to 'Pizza in the sky'(3min by walk), kind staff, cozy and clean room, good jacuzzi, vending machine instead of convenience store, nice breakfast Cons. Going deep into the...
Situated next near Kadena Base, immediately available is American Village and great food/view nearby. The Hilton hotel has main building, and DoubleTree is situated separately right next to ocean. The room, facility, and view are awesome. Best for couples and family vacation. Car parking is sufficient with around 10 covered parking slot
One of my favourite hotel in Okinawa, Japan. The pool is small but because there weren't many tourists the time we came so it's like a private pool! There is also a trail to go to the beach Staff is amazing and incredibly helpful The food in the hotel is a not a bad shout too!
It was a wonderful experience. I was able to get out of the city, and though I was in Okinawa on business, I felt as if I was on vacation. This is a family owned and operated resort and the owners are wonderful people. The villas are spacious and well appointed. The view of the ocean and the gardens are first rate. The only thing I would recommend is that driving d...

Although the price was quite expensive, it was an excellent experience. Hotel staff gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. They told me all I want to know during check-in, e.g. facilities, restaurants and etc. And they are helpful to my request. The room is big, tidy and clean. There are a few good restaurants within a few minutes driving. The pool is very good. ...
Great customer service. Exceptionally clean rooms. The villa layout with your own private pool was perfect. The pool was approximately 4 x 8 meters - so a decent size. It’s a bit of a drive from the airport especially if you are planning to use a cab. The villas are out by Cape Zanpa with a couple restaurants within walking distance. Gorgeous views!! We will definitely...
We love this hotel, our room is facing the ocean and very spacious. The washroom was very big and the staff were very nice and helpful. Got valet parking and 24 hr butler service in case you need anything. The food / drink offered during breakfast, afternoon tea & cocktail were impressed. Highly recommend for couples / those love resort style hotel.
It was the best trip. In the first week of July, I spent my vacation in Okinawa, and I stayed in 3 different places. It was the best lodging. First, cleanliness that is thought to be the basis of accommodation. I think taking a rest in a very clean facility is the beginning and the end of the vacation. Secondly, employees are very kind. Every little consideration allow...
We drive the car to this hotel, they can help us park our car n bring it to us when we go out. Also they can drive us to the dinner place n pick us up after. So we can drink allot n dun worry. They got a private beach very nice. Also allot privacy in this hotel. Mostly the staff is super frdly n nice. I love here so much I wish I can come here again soon! This is a mus...
Staff was very helpful. Good ocean view. Location is a bit hidden (took me a couple of wrong turns to get there) but the environment was nice and quiet. Not much around the hotel area, so best to enjoy your stay in the hotel!
We stayed in 3 hotels in Okinawa, I would rank this the 1st if not for his lack of food choices. The room is very nice, spacious and very well equipped. Fantastic view from the living room. Service is great and staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel only has a French restaurant and the terrace below has very limited food options. There isn't a con...

The hotel is in a great location if you want to just be within walking distance of the Asahibashi monorail station in Naha (and Naha is where most of the stuff is on Okinawa island anyway). It is only a few stops from the Airport as well. Also, the main bus terminal, Naha Bus Terminal, is right next to the monorail station too, so from there, you can go just about an...
Loved my stay at this hotel!!! Nice, clean, comfortable, quiet, good facilities...that almost everything I need is in place and offered in a right way. I am quite a hard-to-pleased traveler when comes to hotel.Unfortunately, I have to be a frequent business traveler with a limited budget from my own little business.I guess I have no problem either to recommend to anyon...
This hotel is worth every single penny that you will spend on it. I will definitely come back to Hotel Aqua Citta on my next Okinawa Naha visit. From the size of the room, the rooftop glass pool, the bar next to the pool, low rate street car parks are all around the hotel (No need to worry about the parking issue is very important in Japan.) and the location which just...

ive stayed in over 20 hotels in Japan in the past year and this is by far the best. it is located a few steps away from Kokusai Dori, the heart of Naha, yet is so peaceful and quiet at night. it’s convenient to travel to other parts of okinawa from here and i love how huge the room is- way larger than Japan’s standards. it is also really clean. with subway tiles in the...
If you want a happy travel in Okinawa, I surely recommend you to live the Gracery hotel on the Main Street of Okinawa. It was really excellent and the staffs there can speak wonderful English, and most important of all, all the stuffs three like cart, bottle water, towels, slippers, coffee and child toy (a small ball) are free. It only cost us NT2600 a night with two b...
location, price, room size are all good. the room is clean and new. I enjoyed my night. but the wifi is quite slow. hopefully it can be improved. i will stay againif i come back to okinawa.
The centre of Naha is around 10 minutes walking from the hotel.
The rooms were extremely well thought out and despite being small, felt very comfortable and cosy to stay in. The beds were excellent, and we really loved the public bath upstairs, which was a godsend after a day of walking. They have a lounge where you can get coffee and soft drinks, as well as provide umbrellas to borrow if it's raining that day. Although they have ...

The property is immaculate, amenities of the rooms left me needing nothing but it was the STAFF that made this stay the best vacation ever. Tim San and Monseur Olivier are the DREAM TEAM! The courtesy, professionalism, knowledge of Okinawa, personalities and sense of humor made our stay PERFECT. I cannot wait to visit again. I will not stay ANYWHERE else.
Hotel room itself was small indeed but i would say its just average size for JP biz hotel like apa. Breakfast was awesome. I enjoyed both western and local Okinawa food in the morning.
Stayed 2 nights for attending best friend ‘s wedding. We book a double room with a cheap price, the hotel assigned a 4 single beds room for me and my friend! What a surprised! The bbq garden was great, the staff don’t have good English The place was clean and have a very good view!
Fairly new hotel, big room, clean, good breakfast (scallops with pesto, fresh baked croissants, etc). Family mart is very near. Parking is not cheap (Y1200 for a night). Overall we are happy and will return to this hotel if we visit Okinawa again.
Hotel is conveniently located near city center near restaurants, bars, public market & fish market. 10 mins walk to the ferry port if you want to do a trip to the islands. Just FYI, it's a bit far from the nice beaches on the main island and other attractions though (2 hrs bus ride to the churaumi aquarium etc). Overall recommended.
This hotel has the best scenery and space. In addition, you can enjoy yoga for free while taking the morning sun from 7:00-8:00. (You should reserve yoga program in advance because this program is very popular and the capacity is only 10 people!)

The hotel room is small but acceptable for a short trip for 2-3 days. Hotel has offers a mobile phone in FREE for data use within Okinawa and local tel. call.
