“Perfect location for us”
After arriving at Yokohama station, fibd the right exit then the hitel is just 5 miutes walk. When you arrive to the Hotel building entrance you need to take the elevator to the lobby I think the 4nd floor. The room just like many other hotels is small but good enough for two people. Under bed storage fir your luggage. Room has everything you need, refrigerator, slippers, razir blades, toothbrush and paste, coffee maker, coffee and tea. In the lobby you can get more razors, tooth brushes and padte , tea, coffee and bath salt which was lovely. The only thing I did not like is the bed being uncomfortable. Unlike APA hitel beds where I slept like a baby. They have restaurant and bar on the second floor. Why did I like this Hotel. First of all, if you want to go to China town, Ramen museum, red brick building they are within 15 minutes ride on the train from same station you arrived in. We did all that and somehow those areas are dead later on the night. Richmond Hotel is few minutes from the hustle and bustle near Takasihmaya and there is all kinds of Izakayas, restaurants,bars and shopping. It's lively there. There is one store called 390 and everything they sell is priced 390 yen. You can buy many souvenirs and you will like it. We spent more time in this area than down where all the tourist attractions. We spent one day two days at seeing china town which unfortunately was not as big as it's being hyped and was disappointing not to mention most people running the food eateries were kind of rude. BTW, most open between 10 and 11 AM. Also we went to Ramen museum which was fun. Red brick building was fun with all the flowers. Shopping at building can be little expensive. But that is a personal thing. Now,, downstairs next door there are many bars, food and restaurants also Family Mart. All within 1 minute. We really enjoyed our stay here and I would come back only if they replace the beds and mattresses with something more comfortable. I
