"I booked the hotel because of the beautiful photos of a character hotel. On arrival we found the hotel bore no relation to the photos. It had been totally renovated and all character had been removed. It is now a concrete , modern, apartment block. It is also on a very busy main road. The shower handle was broken , the glasses were dirty, there was a stale piece of bread in the fridge, rubbish filled a drawer. The evening meal was straight out of Aldi supermarket. Our bedroom had bare, bright green walls - no decoration. I banged my head on the overhead lamp every time I went in the kitchenette. "
