I stayed for about a week and was able to spend it very comfortably thanks to the thoughtful support provided. Thank you very much! Although it is a business hotel, the front desk is staffed by three people during the daytime, providing excellent service. Throughout my stay, each staff member provided attentive and guest-oriented service typical of hotel staff, making my stay very comfortable. The housekeeping staff also provided good service. Indeed, "people" are important for a hotel. I remember that it seemed to be another chain of hotels quite some time ago, but it seems that the Sotetsu Fresa chain has acquired it. I wonder if the interior was renovated during that time, as I did not feel any significant signs of aging in the facilities. Now, here are my thoughts on each item. [Guest Room] Among the many business hotels in the Kawasaki area, I think this one offers relatively spacious rooms for the price. Of course, the cleanliness was impeccable. The TV is a 43-inch wall-mounted model, and it can also receive BS channels. The desk beneath the TV is long and relatively spacious. I looked for a footlight but could not find one. Additionally, it's a minor point, but having a good number of hangers is quite helpful. [Coin Laundry] Having a coin laundry is a great convenience for long-term stays, typical of business hotels. There are four drum-type machines that wash and dry in one. However, during the evening hours, it is often busy and fully operational. I think it would be better to target less busy times, like early in the morning. The standard washing and drying course costs 500 yen (130 minutes). There are also other small quantity courses available. The detergent is automatically dispensed. Only 100 yen coins can be used, and as there seems to be no change machine available, it’s better to get change at the front desk beforehand. [Breakfast] I requested breakfast for one night, which cost 740 yen. It is served at the Excelsior Caffe located on the first floor next door within the same building. There were (I believe) four menu options for guests, all of which looked delicious. Compared to hotels that offer breakfast buffets, those who want to eat a lot might find it lacking, but I thought the cost-performance ratio was definitely not bad. [Transportation Access] It takes about 10 minutes to reach both the nearest JR Kawasaki Station and Keikyu Kawasaki Station, which are approximately equidistant. Being this close to both stations is quite convenient. To reach JR Kawasaki Station, one can walk straight down Isago Street in front of the hotel, then go down into the Azalea underground shopping street near Mos Burger to quickly arrive at the north exit ticket gate. [Safety and Security] Due to the location and the season, the atmosphere seemed to have many families, including those from overseas, rather than just business travelers. I think it's safe for women traveling alone or those with children to stay here. Particularly, Isago Street in front of the hotel is wide and relatively well-lit even late at night, with a decent amount of foot traffic, which adds to the sense of security. [Points to Watch Out For] 〇Cooling Box The refrigerator is about two sizes smaller than a typical business hotel size. There are proper notices on the lid indicating that it is merely a cooling box and that its capability is inferior to that of a typical household refrigerator. It’s best to consider it suitable just for storing bottled beverages to keep them from warming. If you ask at the front desk, they will store refrigerated or frozen goods for you, depending on the quantity. 〇Bathtub Drain It’s not extremely poor, but if you continue to run the shower, a little water may accumulate. It rises just enough to cover your soles, but not to the level of your ankles. 〇Telephone Charge by the Bed This is quite a personal comment, but there is a board (stand) extending for placing a phone by the bedside. Since I have a very poor sleeping posture, I instinctively feared hitting it while turning over when I saw the room pictures on the booking website, and I covered the corner of that stand with a pillow while I slept. I stayed for about a week and was able to spend it very comfortably thanks to the considerate support. Thank you very much! Although it is a business hotel, the front desk has a staff of three during daytime hours, which is quite sufficient. Throughout my stay, each staff member provided thoughtful and guest-oriented service typical of hotel personnel, making my time very pleasant. The responses from the room cleaning staff were also great. Indeed, "people" are important for a hotel. I remember it used to be another chain hotel long ago, but it seems that the Sotetsu Fresa group has bought it. During that time, they may have renovated the interior, as I didn't feel much age in the amenities. Now, here are my impressions by category. 【Guest Room】 Among the many business hotels in the Kawasaki area, I think this one is relatively spacious compared to its price. Of course, the cleaning is thorough, and it is clean. The TV is a 43-inch wall-mounted model, and BS is also viewable. The desk below the TV is somewhat wide, albeit long. I looked for a footlight but couldn't find one. On a minor note, having a large number of hangers is a subtle help. 【Coin Laundry】 It is appreciated to have a coin laundry, typical of business hotels, especially during long stays. There are four drum-type washer-dryer combinations installed. However, during evening hours it tends to be busy and often fully operational. I think it's better to aim for off-peak times, like early in the morning. The normal washing and drying course costs 500 yen (130 minutes). There were also smaller load courses available. The detergent is automatically dispensed. Only 100-yen coins can be used, and it seems there was no change machine, so it would be best to exchange money at the front desk in advance. 【Breakfast】 I requested breakfast for just one night. The cost was 740 yen. Breakfast is provided at the Excelsior Cafe located next door on the 1st floor of the same building. There are (unless I am mistaken) four types of menu items for guests, all looking delicious. Compared to hotels that offer breakfast buffets, those who want to eat a lot might find it lacking, but I thought the cost-to-value ratio was definitely not bad. 【Transportation Access】 Both the nearest JR Kawasaki Station and Keikyu Kawasaki Station are about a 10-minute walk, almost equidistant. It is quite convenient to say that both stations are roughly the same distance away. To reach JR Kawasaki Station, you can go straight down Isago Street in front of the hotel, and if you head towards the Azalea underground shopping area near Mos Burger, you'll quickly arrive near the north exit ticket gate. 【Safety and Security】 Due to its location and the season, it felt like there were more families, including those from overseas, rather than just business travelers. I think it is safe for women and families with children to stay here. Particularly, Isago Street in front of the hotel is wide and relatively bright even late at night, with a fair number of pedestrians, which likely enhances the sense of security. 【Points to be Cautious About】 〇Cooling Box The refrigerator is about two sizes smaller than the typical business hotel variety. There is a proper notice on the lid stating that it is merely a cooling box and has less capability than a standard household refrigerator. It's safer to think of it as suitable just to store bottled drinks so they don’t warm up. If you ask at the front desk, they can keep refrigerated and frozen items for you, depending on the quantity. 〇Bathtub Drainage It’s not extremely bad, but if you keep the shower running, a little water does accumulate. It collects to the extent that the soles of your feet get wet, but not enough to reach your ankles. 〇Phone Charge by the Bedside This is quite a personal matter, but there is an extending platform for a phone next to the bed. I have quite a bad sleeping posture, so when I saw the room photos on the booking site, I instinctively feared colliding with it while turning over in bed, and I covered the corner of that platform with my pillow while sleeping. Great location close to Kawasaki Station and only 15 minutes to Tokyo centre by local train. Don't stay in Tokyo as the rooms are small and expensive. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. A bath tub in each room and including comfortable PJs.

“Great first hotel in Japan ”
This was our first hotel once arriving to Japan. We took a short train ride from Haneda. It was about a 10 minute wall from the airport to the hotel. Not too bad but with having luggage it could be a little journey. It was easy to check in, especially with a late arrival. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Staff was very helpful with getting our luggage transferred to our hotel in Osaka for the following day. It is local to a handful of alleyways with a ton of food that is open late and of course 7-11. Would definitely come back.
