It’s a nice hotel with a nice breakfast set. It is not a buffet but you get 2 options of paninis or toast with yogurt and hard boiled egg. It is also next to a Family Mart which is great.
I almost always stayed at Sotetsu hotels when I came to Japan and was always satisfied with their service, location and cleanliness. This time I planned to bring my elderly mom and she cannot use bathtub due to her knee problems. This is when I realized that this hotel doesn’t list its barrier free room on the internet. I was advised by its staff to book the room through phone call or email, the price would also be different and the room is very limited. It’s a pitty that barrier free is still not priority. You have waterproofing in the bathroom that allows you to shower not inside the bathtub. A separate drainage like in normal apartment and house in Japan would be sufficient enough not to force someone to jump into the bathtub.
I have stayed in other Sotetsu Fresa’s hotels before and would wanted to try this one. The location is perfect, just outside Yokohama station, which has direct train to Haneda. I had problem with the one in Roppongi, because the access to the subway with elevator is complicated. The staffs are professional. The room is a little bit smaller than what I had in Roppongi and Totsuka, but it was also clean. Another plus point is, a Family Mart is connected to the front desk. One thing that I miss is the breakfast buffet that I had in Roppongi. Unfortunately this hotel doesn’t offer it. As I always eat rice with at least vegetable and soup, I had to find breakfast somewhere else.
Great location, close to Yokohama station within quick walking distance to north east exit. However, since it’s very close to the railway, train noises are to be expected, which is not too bad when awake but at night could be quite noticeable for light sleepers, but it’s not a problem for me. Handy to have a Family mart downstairs for a quick meal or top up some snacks. The Hollywood twin room was slightly tight for opening two large suitcase on the ground but still nice & clean & comfortable. If you prefer more room I recommend the deluxe twin room which was much more spacious with sofa to sit on (or could become sofa bed for a 3rd person) & plenty of room for luggage. Good range of amenities & equipment for loan, we borrowed a shoe dryer which was very handy on a wet day.

“Great location for the price”
We got a great price on Agoda for a connecting room for my family of 4. I have older children the size of full grown adults. They had their own beds in the connecting room to my room. Each room had its own door and bathroom so it was like a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. The room was small and the bathroom smaller but the location and value was so worth it! We got the free breakfast bundle and the breakfast at Becks Coffee was delicious with several items in a set. There is a Family Mart downstairs so great to have for late night snacks and desserts. Also it was about 3 mins away from Yokohama station. Can’t get any better than that!
