My fiance and I had the chance to stay at the O Spa during the last 3 days and I am happy to say we completely enjoyed our experience. Upon walking thru the massive, solid wooden doors of the resort, I immediately felt like we had encountered a special place. A beautiful, clean space awaited us, fully stocked with chic and style. Our room was compact, but complete with a comfortable king bed, clean shower / bathroom, mini-fridge as well as a smart TV. (BYO Netflix and HBO...fine with me). Outside, the tastefully decorated grounds reveled a heated swimming pool (96F), Jacuzzi pool (around 104F), private soaking tubs and lower level with another large soaking area. All facilities are irrigated with water and minerals that germinate from the springs below the resort, about 250 feet down. It is a true Mineral Spa... I spoke with Rick the owner at great length about it. As for the Spa, my fiance and I requested a massage from the front desk and we were provided with the most skilled therapists anyone could ask for. We enjoyed the couples massage... both of us agreed it was one of the best we have ever experienced. After our fantastic massage, we retired to the pool area adjacent to our room. Some of the rooms have assigned poolside "beds," so you can lay out next to the beautiful pool area and catch some sun, or unwind after a long day of "rejuvenation." Overall, the experience was fabulous. Rick the owner and his girlfriend Indigo are really attentive and caring. They have curated a very unique and special place and I am very thankful that I had the chance to relax and recharge with my amazing other half. We will be back!

I love going to the o spa in desert hot springs. The owner and staff wonderful and professional. The pools are so amazing and well maintained. I love the variety of soaking available at the o spa. You have your melrose place pool, your large jacuzzi, your shallow pool (all with different temperatures of course) and if those are crowded you can fill up the cowboy tub, side by side solo tubs, or the porcelain tub that pours water from above you. There is no shortage of wonderfully beautiful, clean areas for you to take in the amazing water!! They also provide the great desert hot springs drinking water for you to take advantage of. There is a common house with a kitchen, lots of fire pits & daybeds by the pool. It’s the best! And it’s almost half of the price of places like el morroco inn & the good house to name a few. I also love that it’s dog friendly & everyone I ever meet there is soo nice!!

We absolutely love The O Spa and have been a few times in just a few weeks because it is just that amazing! The waters and ambiance are out of this world. When you enter the front door to this nostalgic and groovy oasis, you literally become transformed! It is just a feeling of pure happiness and you know fun and relaxation awaits. We have stayed in 2 of the rooms and both were cozy and super clean. The colorful paint and vintage touch to the rooms is a delight in itself but the beds and pillows are fluffy and comfortable and we slept great in both rooms. The staff are always super friendly, accommodating and take pride in their establishment. Last but not least, the pools!!! Our favorite part! There are 3 hot pools. We call them mild, medium and hot. The bigger lap pool is mild and super comfortable to lounge in. Like a continuous warm bath. The medium pool is a jaunt downstairs and is a perfectly warm pond-like pool that is heavenly and I promise you won’t want to leave it. It is our favorite pool. And the hot pool is the whirlpool and jets jacuzzi of HOT mineral delight! If you like your spa hot hot, this is your spot! It is inside, covered with an adjoining shower to wash off in after swimming. Great for day users. We are 100% grateful we found this fun haven. This was our 4th stay at The O Spa in less than 3 months! It just gets better each time we go! This time we stayed in the Bowie Room and it was the best room thus far! The cleanliness here just can’t be found anywhere in Desert Hot Springs. We have stayed at all of the spas and seriously, this place is spotless. The rooms are creative, timeless and inviting. The beds are super comfy and they give you lots of fluffy pillow options! This time we brought our own food and made use of the kitchen and all of it’s wonderful amenities! That was a plus! The pools and tanning areas (which are queen size beds with canopies!) are divine! Just lounge all day on your own personal bed or take in the waters in the 3 hot beautiful pools! Also some little fun fillable tubs scattered throughout. The hot mineral water is life changing for sure! We can’t wait to return and are already searching dates. This is our go to in DHS for life! A night turned into a week.......”
Wow, first of all this place is very nice. #1- Each of the rooms is individually decorated and you 6can tell someone took special effort to bring it all together #2- Pet friendly !!!! #3- They are 420 stoner friendly, which is unusual and appreciated. #4-Heated main pool (mineral spring water, non chlorinated) as well as a couple smaller Jacuzzi/spas. #5-Not only are the rooms beautiful, the pool area immaculate, you can also get various spa treatments done here. #6- They don't bug you. It's amazing, I only got one knock a day, around checkout time, so see if we were checking out or staying. From there, they are kind enough to just let you be, not bang on your door every 5 minutes, trying to get you out. One day they knocked, I said we would be staying. Unfortunately it took close to 2 hours to get some more money on my card, yet they never bugged us, just that gets my praise big time. #7-Exclusively 21+, so no little munchkins running around, making it weirdly uncomfortable to smoke or cuss. #8- With the Agoda discount, the price went from nearly $300 to around $100 a night, total score ! For all these reasons and more, our one night reservation got extended to 2, then 3, then 4 nights. I would definitely stay here again, as there are many "hot spring spas" in the area that are no where near as nice, that are in fact, dangerous to stay at, places like Miracle Springs or Dessert Springs. Avoid those spots like the plague, unless you enjoy being robbed by hotel staff, tripping over fall hazards and just yucky people. The O Spa and Resort is my new favorite ! The only (tiny) detail I would mention is if you are looking for a large, corporate place, this isn't it. It looks bigger than it is in the pictures, they only have, I believe 15 rooms altogether. For me, that's a plus, if you are looking for a big name, breakfast included, 5 story tall kind of place, look elsewhere.
