I booked this hotel after seeing the pictures and was worried about what if it's different in reality. But when I checked in on the day, I didn't need to worry at all. It was such a cute and lovely place. The staff who greeted me at check-in was also very kind, and they even upgraded my room, which was so touching. Overall, the condition was clean and neat, and I could use the swimming pool and jacuzzi, which was great! I put Palm Springs on my travel itinerary because I wanted to come to this hotel, and it was the best experience! Highly recommended :)
Not what You see in the marketing photos...”
I booked the Saguaro almost right after having seen some of the photos on Agoda, since I was really attracted by the colors, the sun, the pool, the view, the location. I was disappointed as soon as I checked in. I think on some reviews they consider themselves a **** hotel, but I would give them barely ** or ***. The decor is pretty, colorful and modern, but a little cheap, especially the lobby, the front desk, not to talk about the corridors, the elevator (I think there is only one for the whole motel, and not too close of the front desk, which is not personally a problem, but I think about families, disabled, seniors). Anyway going back: the carpets look old and not very well maintained, the room cleanliness would need more love, especially the outlets areas, so full of dirt and dust. The furniture is colorful, but not well maintained and cheap. I did not use the ice dispensers, but I would not have felt comfortable getting ice, the machines did not look very clean, or maybe it was the whole environment. On my first night I even "met" a big ugly cockroach almost getting in the elevator with me; I had to push it away with my shoe. That was a little disgusting. I hadn't even seen one in the street, but of course I had to see one in my hotel. On my first afternoon I went to the pool: the water didn't look very clean, the only have beds on one side and they are very close to one another, that You will not really have a lot of privacy from Your neighbors. The long chairs were all stacked in one corner in the back, I did not see any other chairs or benches where at least have a little seat, it seemed like it was the end of Summer, but it wasn't even the end of the day, it was only 5pm. The only spot that I think I can save is the restaurant, I only had a good hibiscus margarita, the bar tender was nice and the decor was pretty, I did not taste the food, so I cannot speak. I do not think I will ever go back to this hotel. It is a pity, because I heard they have nice pool parties, but I did not fall in love with my room. Also, not that I was there to sleep (which I like to do at night, of course), but if people/kids in next rooms or outside speak loud, stomp or run, You will hear them for sure.

We booked this during Coachella weekend 1, but did not go to the festival. The staff was incredibly nice, the room was perfect for a weekend stay, and there were so many fun events going on at the hotel to make you feel like you're part of the festival. We were worried about other reviews stating how thin the walls are and how outdated the rooms are, but after staying during probably the busiest weekend in Palm Springs, I can report we had absolutely no issues! We slept like babies. Yes there are pool parties, and tons of people but by the time everyone leaves for the festival, and the pool tones down, it's just like any hotel. The beds were comfy, sheets were clean, and overall room was clean, especially the showers. We ate at Jefe cantina - food was great, and went to the speakeasy for late night drinks. It's across from a Ralphs should you need to grab anything, and the free parking was a big plus. Our car was parked right outside the room. Ubers are easy to call and not expensive to get downtown -- again, this is coming from a stay during Coachella weekend. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a PS getaway.

Let me start by saying this was a fun and totally fine place to stay for a couple of nights in PS. The facelift (rainbow colored paint and carpeting, stained glass windows in stairwells, whimsical room decor, updated vanity in bathroom) is appreciated. The cantina (El Jefe) is really fun. All of the staff were great. The bed was comfortable enough. Because of the age of the building and many of the remaining room amenities (shower, flooring, lighting) and smell and noise issues, I would say there is still room for improvement. It’s a pet friendly place and perhaps that accounts for some of the smells. The AC units on the balconies make way too much noise at night. You can also hear everything your neighbors say, and see into many of the rooms. We still think it’s a pretty good value for the money and appreciated the chill vibes (and free margies)!

We were in town for a wedding and stayed at the Saguaro. The location is totally fine and it does have the cute rainbow theme going for it. Complimentary margaritas were also offered upon check-in. Besides that super mediocre. We arrived at 4p - when check in starts - and were told there was only one room available on the ground floor otherwise we’d have to wait 30-45 minutes. Somehow - in such a dry climate - the room felt very dank and moist. The room had some cute redeeming qualities but the bathroom felt tired and only moderately clean. At 1030a on Saturday morning they host a drag brunch which sounds really fun but they amplified sound was going on allllllllllll day.
